okeyxyz: Can someone please ask @seun to separate notifications on the posts of people I am following from notifications of threads I'd personally participated in. These are my reasons:

1- It renders the following link redundant

2- It is annoying having to go through notifications and trying to sort-out what threads I'd actually participated in from threads I did not, yet they are included in my participations. I don't want this. This is why there is a separate link(following) just in case I'm in the mood to find out what other people(that I'm following) are gisting about. A notification space for my activities should be for my activities only.

3- It creates False alerts when I am looking forward to engage in threads I'd participated in, yet it keeps alerting me when unrelated and uninteresting threads by other people(that I may be following) are busy. I want my alerts to be for my activities, not for other peoples activities(again this is what the following link is for).

If you don't want to view the activities of people you're following, then why are you following them? You should only follow people you want to follow! However, there is a way to get rid of threads that were added to your list of followed topics. Just click "Clear Unviewed Topics".

This thread is about Note 2 vs S3 though, two phones which are similarly priced.

i went to my bank to do fixed deposit (100k) for one month and i was told the rate is 5.75% for 30 days Tenor.

on the other hand,my bid for 91 days tenor treasury was successful at 10.5%.

going by the two financial instruments above, fixed deposit is more profitable than treasury bill, why?

91 days = 3 months @ 10.5% for treasury bill
91 days = 3 months @ 17.25% (5.75% X 3) for fixed deposit.(not cumulative, becaause if cumulative it will be more than the calculated rate)


can someone tell me the reasons why i should continue to invest in Treasury bill or educate more on the inherent opportunities that Treasury bill has which i dont know.

All rates quoted by banks are annualised. I.e. your fixed deposit is 5.75% per year so in a month you will get 5.75% divided by 12. The 91 day tbill is also 10.5% per year so in 91 days you'll get 10.5% divided by 4. An investment with a higher annualised rate always pays better than one with a lower annualised rate. The rates are always annualised to allow for easy comparison e.g. 10.5% is better than 5.75%.

The S4 has a green tinted screen which is not really ideal...

Note 2 has better battery life and a better, brighter, bigger screen (not "pen tile"). Most users of the note ii have good things to say about it
