EducationRe: Can Any Good Thing Come Out Of A Public Secondary School by Seun(mod): 8:59pm On Jun 10, 2011
You're right, man. Kudos to you. Some public schools are really good and known for excellence, though usually that's usually because they are well supported by their alumni financially.
NYSCRe: Petition To Withdraw Youth Corpers From Violent Northern Nigerian States. by Seun(mod): 8:49pm On Jun 10, 2011
I see no reason why they shouldn't be withdrawn from towns and states where kidnappers are on rampage. If any harm comes to the corpers and they are not released, corpers should be withdrawn from the state for a year or two. No hard feelings. The same rule should apply to any state.

PoliticsRe: Unemployed Nigerian Pilots Protest Influx Of Expatriate Pilots by Seun(mod): 11:58pm On Jun 09, 2011
Expatriates are far more expensive than locals. If airlines prefer to hire them, there must be a good reason.
PoliticsRe: Unemployed Nigerian Pilots Protest Influx Of Expatriate Pilots by Seun(mod): 11:39pm On Jun 09, 2011
They should travel out to look for jobs, or address the reason why airlines prefer to hire expensive expatriates.
Christianity EtcRe: "Half Of The New Testament Was Forged" - Bible Scholar by Seun(mod): 11:32pm On Jun 09, 2011
JeSoul:
http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2011/05/13/half-of-new-testament-forged-bible-scholar-says/?iref=obinsite

I read the whole article (and some others in support as well) and was hoping for some new discovery or exposition that would lend this unpopular position some credibility . . . all I got was another fantastic scholastic opinion being paraded as fact. Nevertheless some interesting bits of info/thoughts from the guy sha.

Me sef I will soon write my own book, the more outrageous the better . . . "Paul was a Pirate of the Carribbean" . . . I dare you to prove me wrong.
It's a fact well known by theologians (this includes priests and pastors who went to the seminary) that many books in the bible were not written by the people they were attributed to traditionally.  There's nothing new or controversial about that, really.  This book is just promoting the stale gist.

BusinessRe: Cbn Shifts Cash Withdrawal Limit Deadline To Dec. by Seun(mod): 10:40pm On Jun 08, 2011
On how the CBN arrived at the N150,000 limit, he said that through survey, over 90 per cent cash transactions that take place in Nigeria today is below N150,000.
“We think that this policy will accommodate everybody. This is the world best practice and we should not be left behind,” he said.
90% is not everybody.
NYSCRe: Five NYSC Members Kidnapped In Ikwerre LGA Of Rivers State by Seun(mod): 9:35pm On Jun 08, 2011
Kobojunkie:
10 NYSC members killed during a major riot( that left about 800 people dead) in MORE THAN one northern states vs 5 NYSC members kidnapped, and possibly dead by gun men in just one state in the South East . . . . I think it is safe to conclude, in much the same way many rushed to conclude on the 10 deaths in the MANY STATES in the north, that the South East is also not safe for NYSC members. Or should we wait till the number reaches 10, and bodies are discovered or something? cheesy Why not declare a state of emergency now and withdraw NYSC members now, before it is too late.
Why are you so happy about this terrible event?  Where is your humanity?
PoliticsRe: One Reason Why I Still Want Nigeria "divided" by Seun(mod): 1:39pm On Jun 08, 2011
IBB's oil wells are not enough of a reason to go through the hassle of dividing Nigeria.
It would be easier to take those oil wells from IBB than to divide Nigeria if that's your goal.

RomanceRe: If A Man Is Not Married, He Is Single by Seun(mod): 8:54am On Jun 08, 2011
ogugua88:
What if he has a girlfriend? What my friend was implying was that if someone is only in a relationship that anything is fair game lol. I couldn't do that. Once I hear a guy has a girlfriend, I avoid him like he has Avian Flu.
If he has a girlfriend, and they are not engaged, then it just means you can't boink him until he breaks up with her.  But you can talk, hang-out, get to know each other. If they were no longer looking, they would be married or about to wed.  That's what marriage is all about.
RomanceRe: If A Man Is Not Married, He Is Single by Seun(mod): 7:49am On Jun 08, 2011
That is almost true. He could also be engaged. That's if the wedding date has been set.
