It's not as simplistic as most people are seeing it.

And where on earth did you get this information from?
What killed Abacha?

Or she could just break up with him. Problem solved.
PoliticsRe: Fashola Shows Yar’adua How To Do It; Even Abacha Did It! by Seun(mod): 11:43am On Aug 24, 2009
Governor Fashola said he decided to use the facility available at the hospital to check on the sports injury he picked up a few weeks back because, having commissioned it a few months ago, he was confident that he would get the best treatment.
A sports injury is nothing compared to kidney failure, man.

The kleptomaniac Abacha, despite the massive corruption that characterised his regime but thanks to his chronic sickness and the international sanction imposed on his regime, has the National Hospital, Abuja as a remarkable legacy of the Abacha era.
And his sickness killed him.

PoliticsRe: Should The Military Come Back? by Seun(mod): 11:10am On Aug 24, 2009
A country that develops under military rule would develop more under civilian rule.
A country that fails to develop under civilian rule will fail more woefully under military rule.

PoliticsRe: Jimoh Ibrahim: I'll Pay Today! (Oceanic Bank Loan) by Seun(mod): 8:35am On Aug 24, 2009
Good for him.

The funny thing is,
he'll be withdrawing all that money from other banks,
so I wonder how that will affect them.

Food for thought:
All that borrowed money from the 5 banks contributes
to the bottom line of other banks.

I'm locking this thread, because I don't see the relevance to our overall goals and objectives.

If the military was in power, Nairaland would not have a politics section. Absolute power corrupts.

How many accounts will they know, what about the ones in proxies.
Don't bank managers have living expenses to take care of? Don't they have children's school fees to pay?
PoliticsRe: EFCC Freezes Accounts Of Sacked Bank MDs by Seun(mod): 10:48pm On Aug 22, 2009
I enjoy watching the antics of big bank managers in trouble as much as anybody else,
but I can't shake off the feeling that they are being punished for failure and not criminality.

ComputersRe: Starcomm: Password Invalid by Seun(mod): 3:14pm On Aug 22, 2009
Call them. It's possible your payment has not been "applied". If they say your account is active, then look at your modem connection settings and set the pasword to be the same as your modem's phone number. Otherwise, delete your modem settings so it can reinstall with the new password.

This approach will not make your husband have a good heart towards his step-sons.
BusinessRe: Is The Average Nigerian's Money Now Safe In Our Banks? by Seun(mod): 5:26pm On Aug 21, 2009
Why not name the specific banks in the report and link to it instead of trying to extrapolate from some specific banks to "most banks". Details matter, man. Don't generalize.

Oh dear, looking at these pictures makes me miss Kano the more. Poster, it is a lovely place to stay in, there are good hangouts there, you should try the "French cafe" , Lebanon club, Friends cafe, Blings and other hotspots there. Lovely place,
I wonder what you'll be saying if they started their trouble when you were there.
FamilyRe: My Wicked Second Husband Will,he Remove My First Husband Children Names by Seun(mod): 3:53pm On Aug 21, 2009
Lady, it's his will.  He can put anything he likes there.  That's why you should have your own job and your own money, so you can provide for those your second husband can't provide for.

And yes, it's quite normal for an unenlightened man not to put another man's children in his will.  They are your children, not his, so when you are writing your will, put them there.

In fact, I'm surprised that their names were there in the first place.  How did that happen?
HealthRe: Nafdac, the Bottled Water Companies Or The Public? by Seun(mod): 3:47pm On Aug 21, 2009
the question now is
The question is, what is your question exactly?

Do you want to discuss the alleged carcinogenic properties of chlorinated water?
(most bottled water is spring water which is good in that respect)

Or the fact that developed countries have drinkable tap water
(which we do not?)
and therefore they don't need bottled water
(while we do)?

You need to rethink your post and decide one the topic you want us to discuss.
