When I choose a partner, I won't ask anyone for approval. If they offer any disagreeable advice, I'll just tell them to go and jump into a lagoon. If they don't attend the wedding, I'll have saved some money. The illusion of independence is very important to me. Happiness means never having to ask for permission. ![]() |
From the original post: What you need to start a business is IDEAS and little capital."Little capital" is money, so the premise of this thread is wrong. One man's "little capital" is another man's fortune. |
Due to ignorance, we are achieving less than we can achieve under this government. In time, we'll learn. In absolute terms, Nigeria is ok. We shouldn't be comparing ourselves to countries that are much older. This is like saying a secondary school student is a dunce because she is not as smart as a professor. Give us time, we'll grow. |
What does the minister of aviation have to do with a plane crash? Please. If someone has a car crash no one blames the "minister of road transportation". It's just an accident. |
Nigeria is working. The government alone is failing woefully, but Nigerians like you and me are working. |
The fact that youtube does one thing (video) and does it well is also very important. You don't have to remember a complicated website name like video.google.com. Just type youtube.com and you're in! Youtube's success is also partly because they chose a very dialup-friendly video format (FLV) instead of the bloated formats used by Google Video and others. The willingness to host illegal videos and to allow people to embed videos on their own websites has also helped. Unfortunately, their 'success' is neither sustainable nor profitable. Google is planning to buy Youtube with stock, so the fools in this transaction are Google "investors". |
Here's a brilliant idea. Why don't you grow up and choose your partner yourself? Geez. |
Sadly, I didn't watch the show yesterday. Someone who watched it yesterday should be able to answer your question. |
Thanks for sharing this information. |
[s]Alas, copyright laws are not criminal laws, so the Nollywood producers themselves have to go to the US to sue the pirates.[/s] Oops, it seems I was wrong. |

If Jamie Foxx gets an African wife, I guess he'll leave Fantasia alone. That would make me happy. |
Sean Paul, of course. He seems like he has a good head on his shoulders. A simple, honest, rich man. |
So you want to be the fourth woman to carry a baby for 2face? Go for it!! |

Do you know any electronics outlet in Lagos that currently has this item (usb dektop mic) in stock? Thanks. |

uzomaeze:Says who? How many books have you bought online so far? Please! |
I agree that it will be a bestseller. But that is precisely what makes the book so dangerous in Nigeria. |
What I mean is that parents need to be trained before they are allowed to start messing children up! |
Are you insinuating then that there is nobility in a woman marrying an unambitious man??I should have used the word sacrificial. If a man marries an unambitious woman, it's not a sacrifice. |
There's nothing noble about a man marrying an unambitious lady so she can breed well. Not that it's bad. |
The world needs parental training. |

Actually, Nigeria is doing pretty ok from my vantage point. We in the private sector are working hard. On the less significant political front, the fight between president and VP is reaping great dividends. Bravo! |
