Amen! Thanks and i wish u good luck. Please leave those bigot from both side alone while other youth are asking their leaders, we are here fighting each other on tribal/ego massaging and defending those leaders because they are from their tribes or they are benefiting from them.
Politics › Re: Yorubas Are Ungrateful To Obasanjo - Ahmadu Ali by seunfly: 3:33pm On Mar 16, 2013
I wish other tribes can follow that foot step. U don't have to be sentimental even if he is ur own child u have to say the truth.
I av said it b4 that Yoruba alway criticise anybody that they feel is not doing Nigeria any good even if he is a Yoruba man. Yoruba criticism started
from Obj to Yaradua and to Get, it is only during Get that peaple take it from tribal point of veiw and i know why (victim strategy).

ijawkid: See where bayelsa go dey........I tire for that state..............I expected bayelsa state to be amongst the first five.......foolishness and the inability to engage in endeavors that would increase the gdp of the state is what is killing the leaders of bayelsa..............even with the oil we are almost the last at the bottom of that list.......angry
To me this is the only progresive post here directing his question and anger to the apropriate authority which if follow up properly will be beneficial than all this tribal and ethnical ego massaging comment we are all making here.

Although i don't want to join u peaple in all this tribal and ethnic supremacy, but i will like to enlighten u peaple about certain things
1) Nigeria get her GDP majorly from agriculture (wikipedia , ministry of finance or CBN will tell u that) and all this SW state are very strong in Agriculture. Infact Ogun, Oyo and Osun have significant numbers of first class commercial farms such as Ajanla(chi), Zartech, Dezengof, Odunola, Tuns, Eleganza, Eagle farm etc that u don't know about.
2) Some of those state are highly industrialised atleast to Nigerian standard infact Ogun and Oyo state are highly industrailised, Ogun now house most of the high profile companies in Nigeria most of them have relocated to Ogun state. So for the fact the peaple don't shout Ibadan or Ogun like Aba, nnewi or Onisha does not means that nothing is going on.
3) GDP does not mean direct wealth to the peaple, but what can peaple make of it. Atleast Egypt GDP is less than Nigeria but they may better than Nigerians.
@kettykin well i like ur analysis but u forgot to say that what procter and gamble is producing in Nigeria, only two companies can stop u 4rm using it which are Unilever and Rekkit bekiser also akua ibom has potential to even chalenge Lagos if all those things u mentioned has started funtioning but most of them are either proposed, underconstruction or just commisioned which will not give them the Gdp u want them to have right now.
Also project Calabar trough tinapa and Obudu would have increased the gdp of the state if it was well managed.
Lastly aba, nnewi and onisha can be another phenomenal project in Nigeria had the state have governors like donald duke or business minded governor like fashola who will secure free trade zone and foriegn investment in those area.
All this LFTZ and Osun free trade zone would have worked better in Onisha and aba that are natural trade zones but the governors could not see that.
Overall what has Osun gdp benefited me that i will ridicule Yobe or what makes some from Rivers state better than me that will make me to envy rivers gdp. In all, we are all Nigerian and we are in it together.

ACN peaple defend wrong with arrogance, while PDP defend glairing wrong tribalisticaly to win support.

KokoBeware: The original APC will get the name... however they have just shown themselves as unserious.. how can they forget or overlook something as critical as sending a letter of intent to INEC before singing APC all over Nigeria..
Whoever is behind the second APC has achieved his purpose.... If the cannot register a name how will they be commited to "due process"....
I have said this time without number that APC merger is an evolution and a true evolution is process that takes time. They need to trend soft so as not upset any partner in the process, everything must be negociated and they will do alot of talking. imagine apga pulling out after they ve submited letter of intent including apga.
I will only blame pdp for playing childish and despiration game instead of being mature and do things that will give electorate no other choice than to vote 4 them, afterall they are in power and still have the capacity to do it.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Tops Average Billionaire Net Worth Index by seunfly:
^^^For Nigeria to survive, there has to be a level playing field for everyone! Like you allude to, we're getting there, but there's still a long way to go: the centre MUST be made less attractive; the regions/states is where it should be happening; and there should be proper 'fiscal federalism' in place, not just empty noise of being a federation.

There's still hope.
True talk, the centre is too powerfull and it determines alot of things, this is the reason for instability, religious rivary, political backclash and tribal/ethnic striff because u must get to the centre to make it and everybody want to get it there so we keep pulling the centre by all means and tricks.
I will advice that we should decentralise the system and allow resource control and stop monthly salary to state.
Politics › Re: Concessions FESTAC Phase Two At N25billion by seunfly: 7:56am On Mar 14, 2013
That is a very good step toward reducing homelesness in Nigeria. I wish fed and state gov can encourage ppp housing development in other state that are less attractive apart from Lagos and Abuja but Gombe, Osun, Ebonyin, jigawa, Bayelsa etc.
Politics › Re: Owners Of Oil Wells In Nigeria Unveiled By Segun Adeniyi by seunfly:
Abagworo: I'm usually saddened with the level of reasoning displayed on this forum or elsewhere in Nigeria. Why must we label everything tribal or regional? Nigeria has a population of over 100million while the number of. OPL allotees are not even more than a thousand. How has the ownership of oil wells helped the real Northerners on the streets? What have I personally gained from Tony Ezenna, Arthur Eze, Emeka Offor, Tony Elumelu, Jim Ovia, ABC Orjiakor, Oduah etc even though they are Igbos? Absolutely nothing but oppression of the masses with wealth which does not belong to anyone but all Nigerians. We are deeply brainwshed.
Nawa 4 us ooo! I don't know what i ve benefited from them all.
Abagworo! now i know why we are so backward, all this well we are shouting and accusing each other 4 are not up to what foriegn companies controls in Nigeria.
So we would have be happier if it is owned by one southafrican, united state or european companies infact i can see our level of wisdom.
Instead of us to be fighting for the judicious use of the oil wealth on native of the oil producing state, Nigeria and humanity as whole, we are busy fighting on regional and ethnic.

Politics › Re: Insider Account of the presidential Pardon by seunfly:
Olanlere11: 1) Nigerians! why politicise such political exercise?
2) Is he not qualified to be pardoned
3) A pardon may be granted to persons for such reasons as advanced age, acts proving rehabilitation, unfairness of trial proceedings, doubts about guilt of the convicted person, or terminal illness.
4) no longer deserving of punishment.
5) Before a person is considered for pardon, he is expected to apply formerly to the council of state, and the council will deliberate on the issue.
6) Most times, his actions, behaviors and contributions to national growth, peace, law and order are cardinal prerequisite for pardon.

7) Did Alami meet these conditions?
cool THE ANSWER IS YES. HE APPLIED, HE HAS BEEN MONITORED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS, HE HAS SHOWN REMORSE, HE IS CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS IN THE NIGER DELTA. HE PARTICIPATED IMMENSELY IN THE EFFORT TO RESETTLE FLOOD VICTIMS, HE IS CURRENTLY PREACHING AGAINST MILITANCY, OIL THEFT AND PIRACY IN THE REGION. HABA WHY SHOULD HE NOT BE CONSIDERED.
LASTLY, NIGERIANS CAN'T FAULT THE PROCESS THAT LED TO HIS PARDON, THIS IS BECOS PERSONALITIES LIKE GOWON, ATIKU, IBB, BUHARI, OSHIOMOLE, FASHOLA, BABANGIDA ALIYU, OBASANJO, SHAGARI, CJN, AREGBESOLA, EKWUEME AND OTHERS UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED IT. LET'S KNOW THIS, GEJ DIDN'T GRANT THEM PARDON, THE COUNCIL DID.
Reading all this want to make my head explode and i ask my self are u a Nigerian?
Do u live in Nigeria?
Do u have feelings for peaple who suffer for every bad decision our leaders make?
What are u benefiting 4rm suporting every wrong decision they take that is worth the resultant effect on us all?
I have come to conclution that all of u political jobbers(PDP, APC and other political association) who sing high praises to every bad and killer decisions our leaders are making today will surely reap from it tomorow.
You may think u are immuned from the resultant effect but directly or indirectly it will affect u too.
So keep it up and continue, we shall all suffer together.

Every Nigeria gov agencies (both fed, state and local) just keep showing incompitence, negligence and lack of inteligence.
Why will an organisation summit an application for a very sensitive issue that can make or mar Nigeria as a whole without verification.
Which means anybody can just do 419 4 them.

SIRCONFIDENCE: In the name of fairness and equity, GEJ must also give James Ibori state pardon as soon as he finishes jail term in UK.
Why can't he give him in absential so that he can just come and contest straight from Uk prison.

True but half bread is better than non.
Rossikk: ^^ Thanks. Go build your own and use.
But we can do better than that, especialy when u later realise the amount of money spent on it.
Rossikk u know better now, we better build standard thing now than build and remodel 5 to 10 years later then remodel in another 10years.
Let take a cue from muritala muhammed international airport in Lagos, built before i was born and still standing tall till now that i am 30years.

It is true that they should have registered the party earlier, but u have to understand that APC is an evolution that arise from processes in which everything must be done step by step. To me it is pdp that is being mischevious by playing childish politics of registering their name instead of steping up their own game positively by doing better than b4 which give peaple no choice but to vote them in again.
With this kind of imature behaviour 4rm pdp i am certain we may face so many bad political tactics 4rm both side especialy pdp b4 2015 election.
