I'm very very sure you were not born in Lagos neither are you a lagosian or do you have any affiliation with Lagos except that its in South west those who are lagosian by birth, who have lived all there lives in Lagos have more say than you!.. So stop claiming " south west" because I know your types when you start sectionalizing one part of Yoruba land from the other trying to claim your remote village is better than eko'
I'm proud Osun state man, born and bread in Ibadan and I'm not even base in Lagos.
This is about southwest and Yoruba, if one useless governorship candidate can do that today in Lagos and go Scot free, what will happen to other state.

You all seem to have forgotten the Oba's threat. The Igbos will only perish in the lagoon IF Agbaje wins. But if Ambode wins, then we are safe.

Hence, Agbaje = Lagoon life. Ambode = We stay dry. Some Yoruba posters here have forgotten that. They want to see Igbos in the Lagoon no matter who wins. Well, I have my life jacket ready in case Agbaje wins. But if Ambode wins, any Yoruba mofo that comes near me will be thrown into the Lagoon.
grin grin grin grin

Honestly, Oba goofed big time and I know he regretted ever making such statement and many people frown at it including APC leaders, many Governor and many Yorubas. However Agbaje messed up big time by playing politics with it. For that statement alone I wanted to vote for Agbaje but the way he tried to incite the beautiful friends against each other because of their cake made me to change my mind. You can't rule people by dividing them, you rule by managing and coordinating them.

Yes I agree with you, if you read my post very well you will see a place where I told you people appreciate the contribution of non Yoruba and they even voted for some in far away Osun state.
I respect your opinion and vote, u can votes for who ever you like but Abgaje created a kind of tribalism and hatred among Yorubas and Igbos for campaign purpose and then Igbo fell for it.
Personally I was happy when Igbo person won a sit in Yoruba land but I want it be because we love each others not because we feel we are more powerful than each others.

Buba marwa who was the sole ACN member in Adamawa during the trying time just find himself in PDP during the harvest time is so painful for me. I remember that any ACN campaign poster you see in Adamawa must have Buba marwa's picture either house of rep or senate but now others are reaping the benefits.

There is saying that "don't connect your self to a failure because it is a communicable disease" you may end up as a failure too.

Very shameless yoruba man. Lagos maybe in SW however very different from Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Oyo, Ogun and Ekiti in that 80% of taxes and duties paid into its coffers are by non yorubas...keep that in mind. When next you see Fashola commissioning a project...say big thank you to the non yorubas who are funding it through their taxes and duties. You think Lagos can function without them? You people should be very careful how carelessly you speak. Also say big thank you to the Niger Delta for your behemoth monthly allocation...you think you can survive without this handout by generous Niger Delta people? Speaking as a Niger Deltan, the day you Yoruba will marginalize any non yoruba in Lagos, be prepared to lose your federal monthly allocation and non payment of taxes and duties by non Yorubas...let's see how you will survive. You think Lagos would have attained its current economic and social status without nom yorubas and federal character? You want one Nigeria, you must abide by every law that glues us as Nigerians.
Even the Nigerdelta people are not bitter and hateful as you people, for your information, I watch virtually all presidential result in an hotel in Abuja owned by a delta ijaw man, after the akwa ibom result, he congratulated me and bought beer for all of us in his cubicle in fact he invited us to join his friends who are mostly ijaws from different parts of nigerdelta, we drank, gist and even talk about where Jonathan made mistakes. Lo and behold we got to the bar and we saw non ijaw and non nigerdelta threatening fire and thunder and blaming everybody for Jonathan's loss, the man said fools and walk away.

Please remove SS, it seems they are reasonable enough.

This line of tribal sentiments the south west has towed is very bad. Go to the oil & gas industry which predominantly belongs to the niger deltans and see how d yorubas are dominating because of their tribal bias. This fragile peace we currently enjoy should not be tampered with.
Who is tribal here? Ambode or Agbaje?

Can you allow such madness in your place?
Chris Ingige lost senate presidency position not because he incited Yoruba against Igbo or he embarrassed any eze or he claimed anambra for Yoruba, but because he belongs to a party they did not believed in. What would have happened to him if he does what Agbaje did.
The same Ingige incedence is happening to rochas.

I think Yorubas has tried enough for non_Yorubas in their land, they voted for Igbo federal house of rep, choose igbos as commissioners in strategic position and paid school fees, medical bills and so many things we don't even know. Yet you turn against the same people because of jonathan's loss.

In Osun, Akwa ibom woman won house of rep not because she a Yoruba woman, same thing with Igbo man made commissioner in kwara state during Muhammed lawal's term not because they are more than 10% but they are humbly part and parcel of the society, people appreciates their contribution and love them. But if they want to force them self on them and flex mustle in their own land who will tolerate that nonsense. Such attitude causes self awareness and reaccessment for a care free society and it breeds hostility.
Politics › Re: Jimi Agbaje Lost Because He Put Self Interest Before Lagos Interest by seunfly:
For healthy competitive democracy sake, I worked for APC @federal level and PDP @ Lagos state level but with his recent action I wish I had not supported him at all.

How can you incite an outsiders against your own people and your own king was molested, emberrased and disgraced yet you are still proud. Well I don't blame him, I blame the other tribe who allowed them self to be used as pawn and I commend few sensible and understanding ones among them.(Afonja of Ilorin comes to mind)

I pray his political career ends here and people of Lagos punish him for life.

Buhari,

Nigeria has crude oil!
We are the fifth largest producer of petroluem.
Nigeria should be getting fuel for free like Libya!
You have to reduce the price of petrol to 10 naira with immediate effect!

Infact, you can make phone call to Jonathan to reduce it for you immediately!
Some of us can die if we continue paying this high price!
So make the call immediately!

And you must declare your assets ooo.
With immediate effect and automatic allowance!
The clueless man you campaigned and voted for increased it by almost 100%, if you are not comfortable with the price, why do you want us to vote for him in the first place.

Thank God u show us that u are not comfortable with the price also but we pray Baba will not be so daft like the man we voted out.

@ seunfly I intend buying a plot in kubwa later dis year but I have been inundated with stories from my friends who bought lands in kubwa and lost dem due to issues. Pls can u help me on what to lookout for and due diligence to be done to ascertain d authenticity of lands before committing money. Thanks. Am interested in 450 - 600 sqm in an habitable area in kubwa. Thanks.
Yes I can, the problem is that people buy land from wrong person and sometimes local council contribute to this because they work hand in hand.
Don't get me wrong their are many bwari local council land which are very good and authentic but Fcda allocation is always the most reliable although sometimes more expensive.

When you are ready please let me know but if you want to buy it from someone else, please insist on Fseries(FCDA) that is FO1, F14 and F12 they may be expensive than there counterpart by 500 k to 1m but don't mind the difference it will give you peace.

If you must buy bwuari area council land make sure you are buying from a reliable person and insist on paying half of the money until your search report is out which I doubt the seller will agree to.

I wonder what most of you would have done is Jimi is an IBO man. Meanwhile, APC spokesperson is an IBO man with many of his IBO supporters. Yet all Ibos is categorized PDP.
I am sure Fayose too is an IBO man and all people that voted PDP in Ekiti are IBOs .

Yoruba people should leave IBOs alone. They are entitled to make their independent choice.
Ohhh so Chris Ingige, Rocha's Okorocha and co are also Yoruba's too? See a very dirty pot calling kettle black, what an hypocrite.

Does that take away the fact that some Ndigbo will be representing Lagos State in NASS? undecided

At least some of you were scared, to say the least.
That was when Yoruba still have neutral mind but with the recent activities, if the reorganize the election, they will all loose flawlessly.

The goodwill has been destroyed by the recent activities and I doubt if they can have such goodwill again unless Yorubas forget quickly which I know they will.

Age is not just a number.. "Age" means you're growing older and very soon you're gonna die.. undecided ..so if a woman is not married at 30, when is she gonna get married? When she's past menopause? undecided
Plus, maturity doesn't necessarily have any relations with age.. But if at 30-something you're not matured.. Then really, what's the essence of still struggling for air with all these animals and insects? undecided
At 30 ladies have less than 20 fertility years, while a man can still perform till his death.

Honestly the best time for a lady to marry is 25 to 27 years because of their stable emotion, peak hormonal activities and emotional balance.

However the economy is not smiling and society is changing fast, very soon many ladies will start to sing it is not necessary to have a child, children are overrated just the way they are singing about marriage this days.

yh this is what u do- sweep under the carpet all s.hit and then when resentment is so big that she becomes cold as freezer to u- u r like - omg what happened. s.hit men who dont know how to communicate with their wives, always will call them nagging. somehow in marriages where men are attentive and listens- theres no such thing. calling your wife nagging just shows that u r weak in socialising. i can be super star in blabbing with a neighbour as well but when it comes to your wife- u r autistic!
Sister you don't know what they call nagging woman, their is difference between expression of greavience or trashing out differences and a complainant/nagging. She complain about everything, actions, reactions, assume you ve done something you did not know anything about in fact many times their is nothing to listen to other abuses, name calling and big headache.

I pray not to have anything to do with such woman again.

You will wish you have a girl who can express her self to you. Trust me nothing compares to a nagging woman, it seems as if you swallowed big palm kernel fruit which stuck your throat or you have heavy loads on you heart that is about to uproot your heart out of your chest.

You are far better than nagging wife but do it in moderation.

They know that they can easily used it to convince the gullibles, I don't think anyone will think Yoruba people will fall for that but there are some people who can fall for it and they fell for it.

Either way PDP has done the damage and another crack had been opened, cos I don't think anybody give other tribe a political space and reliance in their domain again.

PDP has started again, this was how Fayose did and contributed in making the incumbent president lost his re-election bid.
Y not tell the people y they shud vote for u n shun dis tribalistic division among the people.

I remembered when they (PDP) talked about issue based campaign and they were the one that still diverted it to character assassination started by our president, Goodluck Jonathan.
The same thing ifeanyi uda did in Lagos that led to Oba's infamous rant which they still capitalize on. PDP likes ethnicity, tribalism and religious differences as a way to campaign.

They started APC governors is always a Muslim, APC switched to Ambode then they went on to say he is not indigenous boy now it is Igbo's.

They can't just do without division and useless sentiments.
