una go hear am after 8months
ur own go worst pass osun own The problems is that the people that should have come together to give him a good fight went on individually and the votes was shared. I don't blame them anyway the are governor and deputy who fought each other while they were serving and I don't think their alliance would have work. |

stan241: yea true but our so called "igbo" party in the east has done quite badly in this elections, hope Otti wins in Abia May be they did not field popular candidate, gone are those days when people vote for party. For me I know one Apga federal honorable that won in IMO state, the man is not even rich because I still paid his hotel bill when he came for house preminary sittings in Abuja, but he is very popular man because he was former radio personality. Now people votes for personality not amount of money you spent. The man told me his wife just borrowed 20mllion for him while his opponent spent more than 300million. |

I think it is pipe dream or an elephants project for APC to believe they will win in Enugu, it is just like expecting PDP to win in Sokoto. However I expected Apga to give a strong fight which did not materialise. |

biafransoul: How? Is the change we all clamoured for now with a caveat that fellow Nigerians can't vie for elective post in their land of birth? Bro, wake up from your slumber cos this is a new Nigeria. Watch the campaign strategy of all the political parties from the presidency to state governorship, you will notice a trend and pattern in both parties. For me I wish anybody should contest and win in any state based on his/her contribution to such place and the love and respect they have for him/her(not the ego/superiority complex) For instance Akwa ibom woman won election in osun state some time ago, not because akwa ibom people are more than the indigines in Osun state, but because she was so popular and loved that she beat the Yoruba man hands down. The same thing happened to Ghanian woman who used to fry pufpuf along government house road in Ilorin was another example. |

sartorius: 1 His party. 2 Some yorubas feel irritated that he was allegedly an Ibo candidate ( TRIBALISM) 3 Himself - His campaign could have been much better
I WISHED HE WON, A PARTY RULING A STATE FOR 20 YEARS LEAVES LITTLE ACCOUNTABILITY. HE LOOKED DECENT WITH A CLEAN PROFILE, TINUBU IS THE WINNER HERE, I JUST PITY LAGOSIANS . You are spot on your no 2 point, he courted igbos in a way that makes Yoruba looks irrelivants in their own state. APC and other parties also courted igbos as important and integral part of the society but he took it too far to the extent of desecrating his own people. |

biafransoul: Thank you my brother. APC has a lot to learn from PDP by keying into this trend and open the political space for everybody no matter where you're from especially if you were born, has lived and payed your tax for 10 years etc. that is the true change the people are yearning for. We are doing it abroad, why can't we replicate it here. One Nigeria On a contrary I think PDP is playing desperate political game of a inciting us against one and other through religion and ethnic division. |

hardbody: Lagos did this Lagos did that. Is it for free? The tax i pay will probaby pay you 2months salary at a go. At a tax rate of 24% I pay about N300k tax per month. I do not know where else that figure gets paid in Nigeria at my level. So just shut up. Lagos has done nothing for anybody. Everybody in Lagos is contributing to make Lahos whT is is. We are even feeding your omoniles and motor park touts when we park our cars and pay them between N400 and N500 per hour. Tell me in one sentence what Lagos has done for me. I buy your land at cut throat with my money. I settle multiple families in the name of omoniles. I employ your wretched azz brothers to work on the project. I pay my taxes and use the facilities arising out of my money. I work for annorganized private sector company and report to a non yoruba MD but have 3 yorubas reporting directly to me and quite a few others across the function reporting to me too both igbos, yorubas and other Nigerians. We treat each other with mutual respect. Pray what exactly has yoruba land done for me as a favour? Bros read my last paragraph and come and comment later. |
