Op is seriously biase towards APC but and it is sure you dream a lot for PDP. Lagos, rivers, Niger,Adamawa, Nassarawa, Pleatue, Imo and jigawa are very dicey to PDP. PDP's leg is seriously shaking in those state, in fact APC has more chance in all those state than PDP except for rivers. |
Former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Victor Attah, has asked Akwa Ibom people to arm themselves with broom on Saturday and sweep out “evil government”, which he sayshas destroyed the state in the last eight years. Attah, who said this in his address to the people of the state, noted that the outgoing governor, Mr. Godswill Akpabio, had warned Akwa Ibom people on the danger of being in the opposition. He stated that even if this is going to be the first time he would agree totally with Akpabio that Akwa Ibom State had always been in the ruling party, the state should not now go into opposition. Attah maintained that the President-Elect, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), had a message for the state, which he quoted as saying, ‘Give me a governor that I can work with so that together, we can develop your state’. Can we possibly deny our incoming President this simple request?” he asked. The ex-governor said the irregularities recorded in the March 28 Presidential and National Assembly elections should not be blamed on the Resident Electoral Commissioner alone. “We only have to look at Delta and other states like Rivers, Edo and Imo, which in fact have All Progressives Congress governors to understand what was going on,” he said. Recalling his days as the governor of the state, Attah stated that the state enjoyed great prosperity despite the comparatively small amount of money from the Federal Government. He said, “Now the difference is clear. So, remember that your governor is the one that can make the most immediate and the greatest impact on your life. This election therefore, for us, is most critical. “The choice of the people must be freely made without imposition by whatever means; you must have your choice of members of the House of Assembly and, of course, the governor of your choice in Umana Okon Umana. “Your collective will must prevail and this must happen without let or hindrance. Arm them with the broom to sweep out the evil that has all but destroyed us in the last eight years.” http://www.punchng.com/news/sweep-out-evil-govt-attah-tells-aibom-people/ |
FitnessNigeria:Steps towards diversification not product of diversification, by now our mining field should have started booming while Mineral processing plant should be underconstruction and trade pact should in negotiation with potential trading partners but what we have is paper divisification. Government does not end with one administration, if one administration starts in that direction others will follow the path. |
poiZon:Please can you point out the effect or it's impact in the economy? The rice they claimed they worked on did not yeild anything even Jonathan imported his campaign rice. Even the so called agricultural investment does not increase food production nor does it reduce food importation. There is difference between paper and news diversification and the real diversification that has impact in the economy. Is it not foolish to claim you diversified and you did not touch iron ore development when we have the largest and purest deposit in Africa yet south Africa made almost 50billion dollars from it alone last year. No single industrial development master plan, No clear design to boost foreign exchange and no timeline to achieve a particular objective. |
Blakjewelry: stanech:Are you sure it not the man that is lieing, that was how he decieved Jonathan. |
That is good for us. |
Yes now. |
The anti APC sentiment, hatred of Amala party and Fulani politic. They want to hate them in their land ![]() |
OK oooooo! |
This good if they will enforce it. |
OK. |
Nawa ooooh |
Just like Jonathan when he was about to fall. |
poiZon:Yes, you are right they too should have done something about it but 10 - 7 years ago it was as if oil can't depreciate but the red flag was very obvious in the last 6years when oil shale madness began yet Okonjo said no problem. |
I pray they choose competent people to execute the task, not voodoo/paper economist like Okonjo iweala. |
20 greatest mistakes of Jonathan,I will add more 21 Allowing your wife to misbehave and step on people's toes as if she is the first wife a president in this world. 22. Sorround himself with valueless, corrupt, praise singers, sycophants, power greed, poor strategists. |
shachris:I'm not Igbo but you are right, if you study southwest politics, you will notice they like to form strong regional opposition party. This is not a sweet and smooth journey because you will face a lot of sidelines, gang up, denial, delebrate distabilasation and bait will be thrown at you but if you can focus, avoid sentiments, strategize ahead of your opponents, it pays a lot. With history and anticedent, can Igbo form such party? Can they take their eyes of the bait? Can they avoid sentiments and be realistic? Can they unit against all dirt thrown by the main party without stairing hatred that will discourage others to accept the party? Can they wait patiently till the golden opportunities comes up? All this needs to be answered before you dambled into idea of opposition. In my honest opinion, I think the new opposition will rise again from the north or southwest just after Buhari will finish is tenure. |
American has trillion of barrels, now UK has 100billion + what they has before and china is also looking for away to explore the oil reserve in south Chinese sea while south African has discover enough for their country for years, india is working acidiously to discover and recover her own source. Oil is becoming common thing and 5years ago we should have diversified, I even raised the alarm here on nairaland but our useless and senseless government who should know better did not even think in that direction. Well it is not too late to diversify but we will be cash starved for another 5 to 6 years before we reap from today's diversification. |
OK oooo. |
That stupid Gulak that said a lot of bad things about APC is now in APC ![]() Well from the way they handle the governors forum issue and the npdp issue I knew gulak and others around Jonathan were not telling the truth. |
Ok |
uniqueren:HaaahhaaaHaaahhaaa you will do the amebo for him, don't worry one day someone will do your own amebo too. ![]() |

Mynd44:I told u a common director just heading a department in one ministry have about #5billion naira in his house, how much more is minister of petroleum. |
Some sycophants still think it is A. |
Yes, that is good. |
Yes now even a pipe bust is breaking news to them. |
modath:Mr don't be deceived you can find it in our corrupt leaders house, if a common director of one department in a ministry can have #5billion in his house, how much do you think a governor will put in his own house let alone petroleum minister. Don't be deceived Nigeria has rotten and decay. |
