gmo10: Oluwaseyi Tinubu: Five Things to Know about Tinubu’s Son
Son of Nigeria’s President-elect, Oluwaseyi Tinubu is well known for his immense success in the business world. Through his innovative outdoor advertising company, Loatsad Promomedia, Seyi’s business acumen has attracted several awards to his name.
Despite being the son of a prominent politician, Seyi Tinubu has carved out his own path and is a role model for young entrepreneurs in Nigeria and beyond. Let’s quickly examine several other interesting things about Seyi.
1. He is Tinubu’s only surviving son
Oluwaseyi is the only surviving son of Tinubu. He lost his stepbrother, Olajide Tinubu in 2017. Speaking of Olajide’s death, Tinubu said, “My son was a highly intelligent person with a vibrant personality and a zest for life. Yet, he was taken away by cardiac arrest when it seemed he had so much life to still live.” Olajide is survived by a wife and three boys.
Oluwaseyi has a sister, Folasade Tinubu Ojo (Iyaloja) and other step-siblings from Tinubu’s union with Oluremi Tinubu (Zainab Abisola Tinubu, Habibat Tinubu and Olayinka Tinubu). So, it’s safe to call him the heir to the throne in Tinubu’s dynasty.
2. He is a billboard tycoon
Seyi is a billboard tycoon that sits as the CEO of Loatsad Promomedia, a leading outdoor advertising company in Nigeria that provides great solutions for successful brands. The company has worked with some of the biggest brands in Nigeria. His advertising company has overseen over 1000 completed advertising transactions representing billions in transaction value. The billboard tycoon has also acquired E-motion Advertising Ltd, a leading advertising firm. Loatsad has worked with a lot of multinationals and partnered with many international tools like Airpush, Shazam, Rocketfuel and Snapchat for pop-up ads on mobile. Outside advertising, Seyi is passionate about nation-building and helping Nigerian youths become a better version of themselves. As a philanthropist, he founded the Noella Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and mentorship to young people in Nigeria. In 2005, he founded TELD NGO, which strives to provide a better life for the poor and underprivileged in Nigeria. The NGO provides school fees for children and youths.
3. He is married to a Lebanese-Nigerian
The serial entrepreneur is married to a woman who is half Lebanese and half Nigerian, Layal Holm. Layal was born and brought up in London. She is a graduate of Entrepreneurship and business from the University of Surrey. Seyi’s wife owns a children’s Toy shop called Tots Toys. The two lovebirds obviously have a thing for entrepreneurship. She also co-founded Noella Foundation with her husband. Seyi and Layal are the parents of two children.
4. He is a Polo lover
Asides from advertising and philanthropy, Seyi Tinubu also has a passion for sports. He is an avid football fan and supports Arsenal Football Club. He is passionate about Polo. According to him, he started playing polo at age of 13. He is reportedly building his horse stable outside Falomo, and already owns some horses and ponies capable of starting a team. Seyi is also the Patron of the STL Polo Team, a Polo Team Based in Lagos. Seyi Tinubu is a firm believer in the power of sports to bring people together and promote social development. He once noted that “Horses sometimes give you the wings one lacks and while riding a horse, you can borrow some freedom.”
5. He is a Tech-Enthusiast
Oluwaseyi and his friend, Adenrele Olusoga tried out different opportunities before arriving at Loatsad Promomedia. In one of his interviews, he revealed that they tried many ideas including an online digital movie platform like Netflix, but it didn’t work out. These failed attempts helped them discover that they were passionate about creating something unique. They went ahead to float Loatsad Promomedia to operate both in the digital and out-of-home sub-sector of the advertising industry. Seyi had also run multiple startup companies before establishing Loatsad.
Seyi who believes that digital technology is the future has helped create opportunities for young people to succeed in the business world

Next governor of lagos state. He would play major role in Tinubu presidency as a defacto president to checkmate unforeseen occurrence. He should be well-protected. Politicians don't love themselves. They are in power to checkmate themselves.
FreeStuffsNG: Nothing like Eko forum in Lagos Ko jo at all. Won ga e ni Ogbeni Chinedu.
It is obvious that those who promoted Mr Chinedu from a failed PDP governorship aspirant behind DaKoVa to join lp late, screened him and selected him to replace the original candidate of lp , Prof Awamaridi, are Igbo, his fellow Igbo who do not speak Yoruba.
If they were Yoruba they would have personally felt disrespected by his inability to understand and speak Yoruba and his hate tweets insulting the Yoruba.
The population of Lagos Colony was analysed into 'Yoruba' and 'Non-Yoruba' tribes:
1. Eko tribe had fallen from 57% in 1872 to 23.6% 20 years later. 2. Popo or Egun tribe was 15.85%,
3. Other Yoruba groups Oyo - 11.6% Ijebu - 11.01% Awori - 9.26% Egba - 6.05% Ijesha - 4.32% Egbado - 3.63% Ekiti/Efon people - 1.76%
4. Non-Yoruba groups Nupe/Tapa - 1.86% Hausa - 1.86% The Kru - 1.37%.
Please look well the census data above if you are ipob and lp mob. Do you see any Igbo there? This is a part of Lagos those attempting to foist a Yoruba-hater Mr Chinedu on the Yoruba in Yorubaland do not know.
The truth is that even if he changes his name to Aromire, with those bile tweets against the Yoruba, he is and remains a Chinedu to the Yoruba. Hence the rallying of the Yoruba for Sanwo Olu across all the parties despite that Sanwo Olu is the best man for the job.

Proportional population of eko indigene reduced over time due to massive invasion from oyo, ogun, kwara, ondo etc. It is yoruba immigrants who are dominanting real indigenes. It is the same yoruba immigrants who are selling lands at exorbitant prices to non-yorubas. Irony is that it is very difficult for immigrants from ondo state to become a governor in oyo state. Most yorubas who are lagosians have second home like of Yayi, Faleke, Aregbesola etc. They can run to their state of origin in event of any disaster. Real owners of lagos have nowhere to migrate to. Let us respect sons and daughters of the soil.
An average of only 10 votes across all the polling units (175k x 10) transferred from left to right changes the results of the presidential elections completely- @AtedoPeterside
I agree with him to some extent. They removed LP votes and added the same to either of PDP or APC at collation centres to avoid over-voting..People that understand statistics would know this. I think Obi has highest number of votes but i am not sure of 25% in 24 states. Fear of rerun election made them to quickly announce APC as the winner.
Historically, any nation that could control the sea/ocean is always a force to reckon with. Australia has joined the gang. China and Russia must be curtailed at all cost.
maasoap: But some greater fools kicked against border closure that was supposed to reduce importation, encourage local production, give more value to naira but supported naira confiscation that eventually made life hard for them . Now, they're kicking against it. Confused people
Wise people like us kicked against all bad policies. With border closure, Naira depreciated further and prices of essential commodities skyrocketed. Economy 101.
helinues: The question should be directed to those who supported the policy that brought mire hardship on ordinary Nigerians
Like policies of border closure and rice importation. They are all bad policies. But some fools supported border closure and kicked against new naira policy.
MiztaDynameek: Aside the fact that Tinubu is old and doesn't look fit enough to be president of Nigeria, one thing to be admired about Tinubu is his superb political smartness. **While everyone was busy making noise and insulting Tinubu, he was busy strategizing to win the election by fire by force.
**While everyone was busy shouting how Tinubu wants to rig Lagos with his boys, the man just carry Lagos dash them to win and didn't complain. Now imagine those that won Lagos are still the ones complaining of rigging while Tinubu that lost Lagos accepted defeat (for their mind).
The big shocker is how LP now think because they won Lagos at presidential election (because Tinubu dash them and was chasing bigger fishes) they now think they can do same for governorship with one inexperienced candidate that is a political prostitute like his master. I laugh so hard because I just love how Tinubu is not even acting as if there is a LP candidate in Lagos. The president elect has already delivered Lagos to his boy for second tenure.
I believe after the loss of LP in the Lagos Guber election, the obidients tempo will really cool down like Andrew liver salt they are. The funny thing is that all their members that won one sit or the other in the assembly, all will decamp to either Apc or PDP when the game has started. After all they all know that decamping is allowed and them just use Obidients advantage enter the house. They are all for their own interest.
raskymonojendor: Egun are anago and olukumi. An Igbo man won't understand what that means.
Olodo. Egun and yoruba are distinct ethnic group. You are not yoruba or slowpoke one. Real yorubas know egun are not yoruba. Simple Google search would cure your ignorance.
thebosstrevor1: I have read what he plans to do in the first 100 days in office as governor of lagos state and some of his plans seems unrealistic., they might literally cause chaos, create uncertainty in lagos state.
To be realistic, we need a governor in lagos state that has practical and realistic policies for Lagos state.
In my opinion, GRV is more interested in destroying the legacy of the APC, rather than actually developing lagos state.
helinues: Wait, can't some of you people be positive for once.
You too will benefit if Tinubu presidency would be successful. This mentality that only my candidate can turn things around is just derision
Which people? No person can fix Nigeria. You guys thought Buhari would fix Nigeria in 2015. Nothing good can come out of illegaliry, nepotism, forgery and hatred.
helinues: Honestly, I must give kudos to my northern brothers and sisters for being loyal, accommodative and believe in Tinubu's presidency.
Without the chunk of votes from North, Tinubu would have lose the election. The northerners kept assuring us before the election that they appreciate both 2015 and 2019 gestures and they are ready to reciprocate.
Friends in need are friends indeed.
Yoruba's appreciate your support and we won't forget too.
Better Nigeria ahead with Tinubu's presidency
Politics is about loyalty not ideology especially in developing nations. North too rewarded Obj for handing over to Shaggari in 1979. They voted for him overwhelmingly. How did it end? Did yoruba benefit from Obj presidency? Tinubu would disappoint yorubas and yoruba muslms who see Tinubu victory as a ticket to Paradise. Politicians are not to be trusted.
He wrote the letter in advance knowing he was about to die. Many yorubas voted for Tinubu hoping that that he would restructure Nigeria in order to achieve yoruba nation or regionalism. Tinubu is not to pursue yoruba interests. His regime would benefit North and other region more. North did not benefit from Buhari. Yoruba did not benefit from Obj. Ijaws did not benefit from Gej. Yorubas would benefit significantly from Tinubu. Even igbos would benefit from Obi if he had won.
12Monkeys: Tinubu will eventually be disqualified from contesting over his past perjury on claiming to attend schools he never attended which the alumni of said secondary school had since rejected his claim of being a past student.
His Chicago certificate is an obvious fraud irrespective of what the current Woke Dean at that DemonRat affiliated university claims.
There is no statute of limitations in Nigerian law and the perjury Tinubu committed in 1999 and 2003 in his INEC form where he claimed to have attended a primary and secondary school in Nigeria will be dusted up and used to disqualify him from being the flag bearer.
Amaechi being the runner up at the primaries will then be automatically qualified as the bona fide candidate of the APC.
Tinubu would not be sworn as the President.- ---- 22 Monkeys
12Monkeys: Since he claimed he graduated in 1979, he should have served in the compulsory 1yr NYSC program which was already since in place.
Why did he not serve ?
Where is his exemption letter ?
The fact remains that his oluwole fraudulent degree was not gotten on said date but manufactured from thin air when he was running street deals in Chicago.
BAT must also provide us with a sworn affidavit of whatever school he dropped out of in Nigeria before getting admission in that his Chicago oluwole college.
Jewskraine has approved his presidency. No cause for alarm!!!
khalling2008: Muslim -Muslim ticket has come to stay. The politics is not about ethnicity or religion but is all about the numbers. [s]Muslims have the require no in the country[/s].
Liberal Christians who voted for APC and PDP made you to think so.
christistruth01: Yorubas do not do bad belle politics of Ancient Ancestral hate and bitterness that forbids an Enugu person holding from Political offfice in Anambra
We don't want it, keep it to yourselves
It is everywhere. Can Ikire man holds political position in Ogun State? Ijebus would remind him where he comes from. I know Oyo- Osun rivalry before Makinde took over LAUTECH. Lagos is only cosmopolitan city in Nigeria.
AmotekunSW: Self defence is allowed in the Constitution. They have become threats to our continued existence and it has become a patriotic duty to tame those economic migrants and refugees who call Lagos no man's land.
Report them to the police or go to court. Igbo people have attacked yorubas like hausas anywhere in the country.
AmotekunSW: No need for visa restrictions in Lagos. We know how to deal with those who call Lagos no man's land and we will do it not minding how much they cry.
It is against Nigeria constitution deal with any Nigeria over right to settle in any place of their choice. I think we should worry about our forests being overtaken by herdsmen.
forgiveness: See the bolded and it has been debunked. You lied.
No non-yoruba livedin Lagos before the creation of Lagos. Fact.
19th century means period between 1800 to 1899. Non-yorubas have been living in lagos before creation of Nigeria. See screenshot. Tribalism is when you think recently yoruba migrants are more lagosians than non-yorubas who have been residing in lagos before 1900. Even if they are just 5 persons they are more lagosians than oyo indigenes who went to lagos to struggle.
