Politics › 2023:Nobody Won Presidential Election by Sevenworldpower(op): 8:23am On Mar 03, 2023 |
APC did not get 25% in all SS regions. Look at those results carefully. APC got 25% in about 23 states LP won the popular votes but not 25% in up to 20 states.
PDP did not get 25% in up to 22 states. Tribunal is likely to order fresh elections in disputed areas or order rerun between LP and either of PDP or APC after computation by the court.
I think APC knew that rerun wouldn't favour them and opted for manipulation. LP and PDP would definitely form allliance during rerun. |
Politics › Re: How Sad For The Yoruba Nation by Sevenworldpower(m): 7:09am On Mar 03, 2023 |
Money is source of power just as politics. Wealthy men control those in political positions. That is the reality of 21st century. US is a global power because of her military, financial and political strength. Yorubas and hausas have similar perceptive of powers- political powers to be relevant. Igbos generally believe in financial power to be relevant in society. Hausas don't joke with military power. In the future, those with financial power would decide who would get power or get power themselves. Tinubu used his financial power to get highest political post in the country.
After end of Tinubu political dynasty, new political gladiators would emerge in the SW. There wouldn't be unity. Lagos would be in chaos because he has not been working to remove agberos from streets of Lagos. Future yoruba leaders would remove them with support of people.
My fear for yorubas is present yoruba leaders are not liberating our youths economically. They are encouraging tribalism, thuggery and ritualistic practices. Poor men are selling lands to do burial ceremonies of their grandparents they don't know or to pay school fees of their children who would remain jobless after schools. Many yoruba youths are.living in penury. They would sell the remaining lands to non-natives or companies.
Land owners are kings. Just like an Indian becomes UK PM, i predict that non-yoruba would become governor of Lagos in the future. May be in the 50 years. Tribalistic generation wouldn't witness it. I predict in the 50 years, there would be flourishing hausa communities over SW. Why? We are abandoning forests for cattle rearers. |

My memory of late 80s price is fuzzy but 2.50k is on the high side coping with 120 naira minimum wage My food money then in late 80s precisely was #3. I couldn't remember vividly how i used to spend it in schools. I really enjoyed 80s and 90s. Life was good!!! |

helinues: 3rd class degree with 3 Rd position in the election.. The bad omens are just so glaring.. Obi is a pending disaster had he won the election .
Btw, anyone with the idea of 333.
Obi is a third class graduate, with 3 children, now came 3rd in the election. Isn't that 333. What's the meaning And helinues is what? |
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Built Nothing But Ready To Destroy Many by Sevenworldpower(m): 10:02pm On Mar 02, 2023 |
helinues: Peter Obi is a calamity under LP. This is a man who built nothing but ready to destroy many. Peter Obi hijacked LP party from those who have been loyal to the part for decades. Imagine Chibuzor as LP coordinator in Katsina state?
Peter Obi contributed immensely to the insecurities in Anambra state precisely, how? Peter Obi's tenure ended in 2014 which was 9 years ago, this same Obi increased the State tuition fee by 200% claiming Education is not for the poor. The average of SS students id between 15-22, add their age plus 9 years, those are the groomed UGM who was denied further education by Obi.
This same Obi never believe in democracy, apart from Obi being appointed as NBA board during Abacha era meaning while the likes of Tinubu was fighting for democracy to return to Nigeria, Obi was fighting against it cos he was benefitting from Abacha's government.
This is the same Obi that did not conduct LG election for good 7 years out of his 8 years as Anambra governor.
Obi claimed he wants to destroy the structure of the leading party even for the fact that he benefitted from that structure to be chosen as VP under Pdp. Had those structure been destroyed, would he has had the opportunity to vye under Pdp as VP?
Obi can not milk a cow but ready t kick a barrel of milk away.. I think Peter Obi is greater than Tinubu. He could never achieve what PO has achieved in 9 months even with use of thuggery, bribery and other satanic methods. |
Politics › Re: Where Are We Expecting Our 25 % Now? by Sevenworldpower(m): 9:50pm On Mar 02, 2023 |
alfarouq: A few weeks ago, some funny people who have never visited the North keep dishing out strange statistics about the population of Muslims vs christians in some Northern states.
Someone even claimed that there are more christians than Mislims in states like Kaduna, Borno, Gombe, Adamawa etc.
I will like to know if you actually believed that or you were just wishing it is?
If the first instance is the case, I gusess you have your answer now with the distribution of voting in those states.
I am from KD hence will use that as an example.
While it is possible to have very few christians who voted for PDP or APC and very few Muslims who voted for LP, more than 90% of Kaduna christians voted LP. Even those who are direct beneficiaries of the ruling APC government (LP had more votes than APC in Kaduna Government house polling unit) it still fall short of the 25% required.
The indigenous christians in Kaduna and the likes know the reality on ground and those who have lived in KD know as well.
I am appealing to christians in the North to not allow themselves be used by people who pretend to care about them but in reality only think they can use them in their proxy war. They will use you, cause you harm and go ahead with their lives when it fails.
This has cost you the position of deputy governors in Niger and Kaduna. It will only cost you more in other states if you continue on this path.
With what happened during this election, states like Gombe, Kebbi and Adamawa might start evaluating if you are an ally or a nereby foe.
God bless Arewa, God bless Nigeria and Nigerians You can only say this if the elections were not rigged. |

Brendaniel: You people dont still get it, even if they formed alliance with Kwankwaso(PDP+LP+NNPP), Tinubu would have still won based on the arrangement he prepared, he was allocating votes to each party and decided the position each party got, so it is not a case of alliance, Peter Obi won the election with a wide margin and PDP came second while APC came 3rd.
Tinubu was not in the election to contest, he was there to allocate votes and declare himself winner, so no matter the alliance anybody formed, Tinubu had a plan ahead, he placed Obi 3rd to mock him and make PDP feel that the result looks legit.
But PDP too is not falling for it.
Tinubu had rigged the election even before it started.... You nailed it!!! |

LikeAking: If Peter was a patient soul like Tinubu. PDP would have won this 2023 election...
If you combine Atiku and Peter Obi's votes it supercedes Tinubus vote.
Victory was surly in the hands of PDP, but Peter Obi ruined it..
By now PO, would have been the one jubilating not Tinubu.
Peter will leave to regret is carless 2023 polictical decision..
It's better to be a VP, than having nothing.. He can still contest for the highest office later in life. The most important mission for him to put this one in the bag first.
I rest my case. Atiku destroyed PDP in 2015. He was destroyed in 2023. If Atiku has agreed with power rotation to the south and supported Obi during primary, the story would be different by now. Big losers in this game are politicians who ganged up against Gej in 2015. |

Putinofrussia: lo I dont think you are partially challenged sha. The celebration started from the collation centre and it was a wow! Tinubu is a Yoruba and Yorubas are the champions of celebration. No other people in the world celebrate like Yorubas. If you are poor, just come to Yorubaland like Lagos and you will be fed with Owanbe celebrations during your stay. The value of one Owanbe can make you an investor, a business owner. I don't see any wild celebration in yoruba land. I am curious. First time since 1999 that presidential election winner was declared in the night. I am very sure yorubas would regret it. Just wait!!! I hope Tinubu presidency would not be opportunity wasted by yorubas. From 1999 to 2027, yoruba would have been at centre of power for at least 20 years out of 28 years. Think about it. |

He choose not to talk to me again and started insulting me, I hope his eyes is cleared by Now. If PDP and LP fails to unite ahead of 2027, They will still wait till 2031. Congrats to BAT and his rigging machine, PDP rigged, APC rigged and LP rigged. The strategic rigger won. Don’t quote me to say rubbish, We all see the results from Anambra nd other Easter states. If you believe that only APC rigged then u must be high on expired drugs. G5 governors sealed this election. They did not believe in Obi and they did not like Atiku. 3 of 5 governors delivered for APC. 2 in SE did not help either of LP or PDP. They played devil advocate. Rigging is normally done at PUs not collation centre. In thls election, rigging took place at collation centre. It is bizarre. |

funshint: You don't know what you're saying....an election process starts from voting, to collation and finally to declaration of result. No court can stop that process...any party that is not satisfied should approach the election tribunal according to the constitution. No court has the locus standi or jurisdiction to entertain any election matter before it's completion. It runs against the law. Show me where it is stated in the constitution that collation and announcement could not be stopped by the court. Even INEC has power to even stop collation and order rerun in disputed areas. |

But if INEC is not reliable to conduct elections, do you think judicary can do right things? Inec, security and judicial officers are all corrupt. Right thing to do now is to take all ballot boxes and election materials to state inec offices for proper counting and collation. |

DAVIDMOE: The first lesson my brothers should learn is that you don't play politics with emotions. Politics is a war and all the contestant use everything in their disposal to fight it.
The only way for an Igbo man to grab that presidential power is through alignment with other people, but will that happen when we abuse others? No.
If Tinubu becomes president today, El rufai will start nursing the idea of contesting after him because he played a major role in making Tinubu a president.
However, when it comes to my igbo brothers forming alliance with others, our bad mouth will distroy everything.
No body is clean in politics! It is all about personal interest and game of numbers.
I would have loved the outcome of this election if we "the igbos" would have voted en mass for a much popular candidate. At least, when the person wins, we will have hope of getting presidency one day.
We voted against the two major parties which means we may wail for another 4 years Igbo people are not united behind Obi. Makinde and other some politicians from opposition camps are supporting Tinubu. Igbo leaders could not sacrifice their ambition for their son. The truth is north would never vote for an igbo man as long as yoruba, SS or northerner are on the ballot. SS people are not identifying with you just as NC people do not want to be identified with hausas. Igbo can only by President through a military coup in the current Nigeria. |

Another 8yrs of North,
When power comes to South in 2039, igbos can try again, if Niger Delta (South South) would allow that because Igbo have used their turn in this 2023.
2039 Igbo must give way for Niger Delta.
No vex, na so life put una. Better hold your governors to develop South East and forget President oh.
A word is enough for the wise. How do North benefit from Buhari presidency? The truth is that Nigeria is a doomed nation. No President can fix Nigeria. 90% of voters are idiots in any given country. And why did Quatar not get a single point?? It doesn't work like that. If you read comments in the quora, you would understand. Manipulating games don't mean they would be stupid with it. Check the history of the world cup, host or nearby nations have been playing seminal final since 1998 exception is South Africa 2010. Ghana could have played semi-final instead of Uruguay. |
