The situation in Nigeria now is one that could be likened to that of a decadent society.
What do you think? I get worry when i see celebrities and professionals like Segalink, Reno, Dipo Awojide openly display their tribalism. This election has opened my eyes that notable people around you have no honour. I have decided not make comments on public issues openly again. I don't want to be a target during tribal-induced civil unrest. Trust no one. |

Tribalism is the key to hold power in Lagos. Fabric of Nigeria society is built on nepotism. Tribalism card was played against Agbaje in 2015. I worked against Gbadebo in 2023. It would be used against another person in 2027.

Politics › Re: Peter Obi: The Worst Thing To Happen To Igbos Since Independence by Sevenworldpower(m): 4:46am On Mar 19, 2023 |
naijapips04: Peter Obi has single handedly pulled the Igbo nation decades back.
His singular irrational ambition has enthroned APC for at least the next 8 years if not 16. It has enthroned Muslim domination. Igbos have lost our at the center with no clear path of finding our way back.
Obi is the biggest loser in this election. Alex Otti in Abia state would have won even if he contested under Sowore's party. LP will only take Anambra state backwards. Soludo would be fighting more to stay then concentrate on working for the people. Obi is a dangerously ambitious he goat. There's greater polarization between Igbos and Yorubas. The worst since 1967.
It pains me because I'm igbo. No strong Igbo alliance in APC, PDP. The SS are taking our rightful position. The elections are over. We would go back to screaming marginalisation and Biafra while others reap from Nigeria.
Obi should never have happened and he should be taken down. His continued ambition is doing nothing but harm to the average igboman. People prefer yoruba muslim as president than another fulani man to succed Buhari. If igbo leaders and elites had supported PO thing mght have been different. Niger delta people and middle-belters want APC. Don't blame PO. |

Olabukola11: It seems the people of SE and SS have succeeded in corrupting the minds of the Lagos indigenes against fellow Yorubas.
We have a lot of work to do today to make sure APC stays in power in Lagos. Other yorubas can come to lagos and claim lagos but indigenes of lagos state cannot claim other yoruba states. If you want pan-yorubanism , each state assembly in SW including kwara should pass pan-yorubanism law that would allow any yoruba claim any state in yoruba states without legal restriction. We should stop deceiving ourselves. |

But reality is that problems are being solved to create more complex problems. Human leaders may have good intentions but the seats of powers are being controlled by Satan. That is the reason human governments are failing worlwide. War, civil unrest, insecurity and inflation are characteristics of any failed governments. |

boltwings: Dollar to naira exchange rate will get to the range of $1= #1500 to #2000
Fulani terrorist, bokoharam , ISIS etc will take over more villages and kill more without being arrested. They have resumed killing already in Benue and some part of Nigeria the moment Tinubu was declared INEC president
There won't be state police. Remember that all southern governors voted for the establishment of state police, but forget about state police
There will be more stealing and corruption, wrecking the already damaged economy
There will be scarcity of food because of the terrorist destructions effects. Prices of food will increase
Our refineries will not be fixed. we will still be importing fuel instead of producing in the country and crashing down the price.
I am saving this post here so you can come back to it if eventually Peter Obi didn't come in as the president. Tinubu is not that bad.. |

OneTemplate: @OP.
The way I see things going in the near future, every Nigerian will have to first build lives and successes from their regional bases.
Only Igbos seem grossly unprepared for this. As you mentioned, the Ghanaians staged a one million dollars coup to drive Igbos out and regain control of their market and position Ghanaians in control of selling space in their own nation.
Yet Igbos did not see it coming because they are so pugnaciously arrogant and materialistic. Goodluck to a people who never heed warning signs and, historically, prefer to head into trouble when it is too late to right wrongs. igbos are Nigerians living in Ghana. Igbos as Nigerians could acquire properties in any part of the country. Land use act 1979. Yes, Governor can revoke C of O with full compensation. You don't sell your lands to non-natives and still ask them to exit. That is the reason herdsmen are causing havoc in some communities. Village Chiefs would collect cows for herdsmen to settle. Many years later due to development , they would ask herdsmen to go. Why wouldn't they fight? Something is wrong with us. You don't want Biafra and igbo presidency. Even Gej as Ijaw man became President accidentally. |

mcdokwe: read, my fellow youths, read to understand!
Before the use of POS terminals as agency banking, P O S which actually means Point of Sales terminal were solely used by merchants for the sole purpose of collecting payments... now enter Agency banking, where you now use the terminals to "cash-in" (deposit) and "cash-out" (withdraw).
now, due to the current situation, terminals supposedly marked out as "merchant terminal" are used as "agency banking" and that is what CBN is trying to stop.
but then, again, this is like the proverbial hunt for rats when the house is on fire.

searchng4love: It is time to prioritize the well being of the Yoruba citizens.. and protect the economy of the indigenous Yoruba people. By creating viable environment for the Yoruba man and woman to trade effectively and not allow our markets to be taken over by foreigners who are non indigenous people to the southwest... Across divides Britain, Germany and the United States have programs to protect the economic rights of indigenous peoples.... Southwest States should immediately commence such protectionism in all our markets.
While we thank the SW governments for the DAWN Commission that birthed the Western Security Network aka Amotekun... It is time we take matters of our economic prosperity and development serious by having protectionism for our indigenous Yoruba people who must take possession of over 80% of our markets including shopping malls... This is very important and a standard global economic practice worldwide EU countries have these, South Africa countries have these, UK has these even within the different conglomerates that form the UK. Most yoruba family heads and traditional rulers are selling lands and properties to non-natives. Herdsmen are taking over the forests. Most people couldn’t farm again. |

Politics › Re: Election Materials: PDP, Atiku Withdraw Court Application Against INEC by Sevenworldpower(m): 5:46pm On Mar 15, 2023 |
paymentvoucher: The Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, have withdrawn an application they filed to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission to allow their agents to participate in the process of sorting out ballot papers that were used for the February 25 presidential election.
Both the PDP and Atiku, who are separately challenging the outcome of the election that was declared in favour of Bola Tinubu, the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, told the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, sitting at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, that they have deemed it fit to discontinue the application.
When the motion ex-parte, marked: CA/PEC/10M/2023, was called up for hearing on Wednesday, Atiku, through his team of lawyers led by Joe Kyari Gadzama, told the court that he filed a notice of discontinuance.
Following this, Justice Joseph Ikyegh-led three-member panel struck out the application.
A member of Atiku’s legal team, who did not want his name mentioned, disclosed that the decision to withdraw the application was an outcome of a meeting his legal team held with the leadership of the electoral body on Tuesday.
He said initially the application was filed because of challenges and administrative bottlenecks they encountered at the INEC office when they wanted access to the election materials as granted by the court.
“However, before the application which was dated March 13 could be slated for hearing, INEC, on its own, called our legal team for a meeting. “It was at that meeting which held yesterday (Tuesday) that all the grey areas were sorted out, with INEC pledging to allow our agents to observe the process of sorting out some of the electoral materials we requested, especially the ballot papers.
“Since that was primarily our prayer in the fresh application we filed, we felt that it would not be necessary to proceed with the hearing. So, to save judicial time, we filed a notice of discontinuance which was accordingly granted.”
