Barcanista, good points. However, probing those listed will only lead to more probes which will outlast 8 years.
That said, I am fully in support of this NNPC probe. Seriously some thieves who know nothing about the stealing code need to be rooted out.
Let us call a spade, a spade. This is witch hunting the GEJ administration. Like I posited earlier, no one is guilt-free, and it cuts across all party ranks. I have a problem with hypocrisy and overnight sainthood, I do.
And seeing as all eyes are on NNPC books, they might as well start from the inception of NNPC. We need to dig out this corruption from it's root. We don't want Hydra(ic) tales.
It therefore implies that all administrations (past and present) must be probed on how hey managed NNPC and anything Petroleum/Black Gold under their leadership. Except of course, someone is succinctly telling us there are SACRED COWS.

Nice one Barcanista, You never fail to impress. As for the probe of the missing funds, You couldn't have said it better, The rot in the system didn't start today, If Buhari is really serious about this, Let him start from the period when Gauis Obaseki was the GMD of NNPC. I'm sure my Jona has no skeleton in his cupboard, That was why he made the report public and also challenged the President-elect to carry out any probe he wants to. |

All these are just waste of time, All I know is this: 1. No 20 billion dollars is missing.
2. Even though some funds are missing, I'm sure as hell it's not up to that amount, God knows where Sanusi got his Phantom figures from. 3. Most importantly, Jonathan is purely innocent in this saga. Do you know what 20 billion dollars is How can that amount just vanish without trace?...Please tell me something else. |

eduj: ebonyi people are not disliked the are arguably the most fantastic farmers south of the Niger their farm mounds en ridges would give any professor a lecture on crop rotation en maximum land yield-not forgetting their enterprising females .their problem is that they are yet to be lead by a true leader their area seems a little underdeveloped.I dont even know y the op included abia yes it lacks compared to the other three states in good governance but, come on guys for a state created 1991 abia is doing good. Thanks for the clarification, and you're right, Abia shouldn't be included, That was why I didn't even talk about the state. |

CrazyMan: They are not disliked, they're just seen as non-igbos because of their dialect.
Their dialect has little or no resemblance to the general igbo dialect. If for instance an Enugu, Anambra Imo or Abia man speaks his dialect, you can still grab a thing or two from what he's saying. But if an Ebonyi man speaks his, you won't even understand a single sentence of what he's saying. And worst is most of them in the villages don't even understand the general igbo. So if you find yourself there, you'll really have a hard time communicating even though you're an igbo. (I'm talking from experience)
That's why most igbos see them as non igbos. Absolutely, That's another major factor. You're definitely right. |
