...my mum used it for months though I warned her not to, but their flashy testimonies got to her. we spent so much (got each pack for 16,000 from their Ikeja office.) It did not work, Nada, zilch, nothing. She ditched it later on her own. she might be an isolated case o but from sources and research, nah, it doesn't work. profit is their main aim and they do well to advertise and promise mouth watering bonuses wt multiple sales. |
...empty dustbins and littered floors, classic. |
rumenase:How polite, one point for you. My point? Please sit right here hon and I will tell you. I am not the op(true) but I will not sit by and watch you bash her. You didn't give her any advice, you practically insulted her (lazy? ) When will people realise that they are not judges over anyone? How do you know that she's not sweating and crying in the gym right now pushing herself to burn that fat? Instead, you shame her for buying the drug and looking for an easier path(I would never buy such a drug, I would never judge someone who would too) Let's show some compassion, let's put ourselves in other's shoes and consider what we say and how we say it. People are different, respect each individual, too much for you? |
rumenase:Aproko quoting another aproko? Try forming sentences without swear words too, makes you sound intelligent and less angry, maybe. (Some really can't be helped, clean sentences and all.) |
You are in my thoughts and prayers, it may hurt more than you care to express but dear, I am with you. Please be strong, she must have wanted you to be. Lots of love(and prayers) Even when God doesn't make sense, He is still God and He is good. |
rumenase:...and please how did you deduce that she is lazy, doesn't eat right or exercise? You people just assume blindly and judge others, don't judge a pain you have never experienced hon. |
brightfuture17:Hey Dear, It must hurt a lot and only you may know just how much, but please don't give up. God's got you(yeah- it may not seem like it now,) I have got you too and I am sure many others on this forum do. Please be strengthened, better days are coming. Cry, scream, vent but please remember to smile and laugh, to live and to love. Please are you in Lagos? Want a cake or something nice to cheer you and your siblings up a bit? |

[quote author=Lieyel09 post=61399966]* * * Sweetie, many senior regs( check LUTH, LASUTH) don't even earn or earn just above 350,000 before we talk about junior regs sef. Many junior regs except in some Federal centres earn just above 200 or more. For consultants, the pay is that much if they are also employed by the college (i.e hospital and college to teach) in isolation, very few make up to 800. |

Nanjerian:I'll bet that you were really feeling smart while typing this. west Africa is currently 115,000, National is 75 (updates courses for both are 40, you will travel and lodge in the state where your closest exam centre is) and the pass rate is pitiable. Very few people will dole out such without preparing adequately. He said what he wanted, oga just say yours and don't display how much of a dolt you are, you have NO RIGHT to mock what you have never experienced, NONE. |
...some comments here are like slow sad songs that one can't turn off. |
...nice write up but I hope you intend to write one for men too. We can't keep hammering on our female folk and exclude the male folk from the rot in our society. |
Op, this may be a bit long, I apologize in advance. 1. I am really sorry about this and I pray for healing for him, for you and your family. I pray God strengthens and heals ur brokenness. 2. I know some Indian hospitals advertise on nairaland but I am not sure of any of them, I will try to search and paste their addresses here, please research well on each. 3. I have a family member suffering from chronic pain and I have seen how SOME Nigerian 'pastors' and healers fleece sick people of much needed funds that they laboured for. Please be very careful with anyone who asks you to call, they will eventually ask for money to pray or buy materials, be wary. please be careful with diets and herbs too, some are good, some are terrible. The discerning line between them is slim. 4. I have worked in public and private hospitals in Nigeria and I know how they can be like and I will assume you have tried several. You can try Vedic life care on the Island, I know they have good links to Indian hospitals and doctors as well as a healthy referral system. Mecure too (oshodi and Lagos Island), Eko hospital is expensive but good too though I don't know if they refer to India. I can also vouch for Lasuth and Oauthc if you are still willing to try here. I will read up and update the hospitals I have mentioned. |
Guy, this is really nice, big ups. |
...please this is 2017, people have to do better and be smarter. I am not exonerating this man but your story needs more flesh. 1. why didn't any of the accused women speak up or challenge him? Being rude to them is enough to speak up about. Why the hell should someone treat you like crap over a service you paid for? 2. How do I know this isn't a lie (don't misquote me biko) but in life one has to be careful 3. Please did you inform the staff of the hospital or the MD? If not, TAKE IT UP WITH THE GODDAMN HOSPITAL, not fly to nairaland straight. That hospital is a brand, some people's hardwork and sweat I am still expecting more from this your story too. |
...I don't know which amuses me most, your desperation for clients, your misinformation or the prices of your treatments. |

...please list the natural and delicious fruits that have healed cancers. Even the post advised monitoring patients receiving chemo. This is just one research in a sea of researches and as a health personnel I think your title should be rephrased, you people just jump into conclusions anyhow and mislead your fellow gullible Nigerians. why not read about chemotherapy and thoroughly understand it including adverse effects before rushing to post news on NL? |
DerideGull:People don't ask or research well. This is most likely an ameloblastoma, a case Lasuth, Luth and Oauthc amongst other Hospitals in Nigeria manage well, even reconstruction after surgery, management won't cost up to 1.5m, including reconstruction plates for the mandible. Many Indian hospitals have agents in Nigeria, here on Nairaland they advertise their services for even ivf which Nigerian hospitals do well at a much reduced price. |
...these hungry and desperate bloggers are really getting out of hand. You will redirect people to your blog over such news again ![]() I give up. |
