lilioj:Once she confirms the news as genuine she mobilizes funds and helps out in so many cases. Still saw one yesterday about a 4 year old girl needing surgery. The way Nigeria is now, one needs to be sure before helping. |
Please I need your help guys, biko. Please who can recommend a good mechanic around xxxxxxx Modified to remove the address Thanks |
stormborn28:Some men steal, rape and abuse women, does this mean that all men are thieves, abusers and rapists sir? |
stormborn28:Comparisons are odious. John Lydgate 1440 |
Davash222:The number of those who like this post shows a tip of the iceberg of how much trouble we are in as a people. When young, educated people can think and then go on to write and like such. I think the solution to Nigeria's problems is quite far from our generation. |
godofuck231:Awww, look who's about to cry? Sad little baby, time for a diaper change? |
godofuck231:If this was the best you could come up with then I guess you are really irredeemable and too far from reason. |
Rubicon67:God bless you! |
friendlyadvice:This is exactly what more than half of the irritating sellers that touch women anyhow in Computer village, Yaba market and Balogun market say when women stand up for themselves. You know what that makes you? |
1759ademola:Rape/ sexual harassment apologist spotted |
godofuck231:Dear Slowpoke People like you make me sick! Even if she was naked, that was not an invitation to being touched inappropriately. Anyways, yes! men do touch women inappropriately in computer village, Ikeja, Lagos, especially the shops beside the bridge. Luckily, you have a penis so you don't frequently get to have people touch you and violate you. When you manage to speak out , you get called ugly names. They tell you that you are too educated They ask if you are a virgin They ask if it is only your husband you are sleeping with They say because they managed to pity you and touch you P.s It doesn't matter what you wear or what you look like. You simply have to be a female One would think that you penis-ed lot would step up to hold your fellows accountable and call out their thrash but no, most of you think the same way. Hallelujah for the good men out there, God bless every single one of you. |
...talk is truly cheap. I don't blame you for this write up though, you may have meant it in good faith but trust me, these things are the last things that will go through some women's minds. Have you ever had pain that won't yield to painkillers and begged to die (several times a year o)? Some of you sha want to be Linda Ikeji by force so you churn out crap. |
Jina24:Congrats ma!!!! God bless and keep her. She will be a blessing to your family, Amen! |
noblelove:It most likely is. Had it yellow, then bloody later |
Gracedom:Congrats teamie. Same milk and Sma story here but don't worry, just relax and take lots of fluid. It will come, kisses to your lo. |
firstpregnancy:Yup, common in the mornings when the stomach is empty, this thing showed me pepper. Bitter, irritating bile >: |
Birth story!! Cc, cappo of cappos Jina24 Had some pains since Tuesday but I'd been having pains regularly so I assumed it was the normal pain I'd been treating. Went for ante natal yesterday(40 weeks exactly) and the doctor suggested that I should be induced, given my history, I was scared at first but I was tired of being pregnant too so I agreed. Didn't feel anything and went to bed (so bored that I wished I had gone home sef) Woke up around 4am, saw bloody show, went to pee and the catheter fell out. I tidied up and got back on my bed to lie down. Then the drama began. Pains like I had never experienced started coming, 45 seconds apart. I was like nope, surely these can't be the scary contractions I'd heard about (so soon?) I begged my husband to help me beg for painkillers, I practically beat the poor guy up and told him he was selfish and uncaring ( I have apologized o.) Ladies and gentlemen, next thing I knew I felt like pushing(feels like a crazy urge to poo) I was rushed to the labour room, I was so weak and tired ehn, all the well choreographed delivery scenes in my head disappeared. I begged the nurses for painkillers too, so much that they nicknamed me 'painkiller'. I was weak and tried and tried to push but no way, a nurse made a cut and with one final push like my life depended on it, my bobo came out crying with a whoosh. Birth weight: 3kg All the pain disappeared at that point as I started praying for him(didn't know expelling the placenta was horror movie part 2) God sha helped me and it didn't take up to 3 hours. I had local anaesthesia and painless stitches (in case you would like to know, they sting now, not really pain, just uncomfortable) I would have added how I started from being a silent observer on the TTC page but this is already getting too long as it is. I won't joke or lie though, this thread was helpful and insightful, right from when I battled bad MS in the first trimester. I have been staring at my baby since morning like 'I really get to take this wonderful bundle of joy home?' Quick and miraculous deliveries to all mamas still waddling. More BFPS on the TTC thread, (Amen!) I love you all mamas. |
Birth alert! Welcomed my prince few hours ago, it is well. God is good. BS coming later. I use him as a point of contact to all women looking up to God. Tired mehn |
Pweetiebabe:Yes ma'am. You can use this too |
Tripletwins222:I am truly sorry about that experience ma, I don't even know what else to say. It is well. IV is intravenous(into a vein), not tablets though any form it is taken is good, the main thing is to take it according to the prescription. |
Tripletwins222:Please ma'am, why not try a primary health centre or clinic. If possible, you can even get the drugs as IV which is more effective. Best wishes! |
ananne:She is truly lucky, very very lucky. It can be a harsh world out there for women hoping for kids, having such a spouse really helps. God bless you sir, much more than you can imagine and fill your mouth with testimonies, Amen. |
Manaria15:It is well ma'am. You asked who has gone through this- I have and I hope my reply makes small sense. For the cysts, surgery depends on the symptom you may be having, the size, infertility. You said you have no pain, just infertility, I am guessing you were sent for an ultrasound during routine investigation? How large is the cyst? Why is the left no longer showing any? Possibly ruptured and resolved on its own? I had my right ovary and a large cyst (which was causing recurrent pain) taken out some years back. Months after the surgery I started having pain on the left, I had an ultrasound done and a cyst was seen on the ovary(much smaller than the one that required surgery). I was trying to conceive at that point and I read through this thread and got apple cider vinegar and castor oil. The pain reduced and I repeated the USS; the ovary was cyst free. Though I also saw a gynaecologist. I always advise women to get good and trusted doctors, talk to them about your options, your fears and be involved as much as you can without getting in their way or throwing what google said in their faces. Best wishes ma'am |
Demicoker:It is always better to take the test after missing your period assuming you have a regular cycle. Many pre menstrual symptoms are similar to pregnancy symptoms. Lord knows how many times I hoped and tested by symptom spotting. Though some tests also detect hcg early and give early positives. All the best Mama |
Tripletwins222:Ma'am, I don't know what to say or how to even say it but it is well and it will be well. You are not alone, I am praying with you and I know I am not the only one. Work with your gynaecologist, explore all your options and it may be hard but please pray and don't give up on God. I eagerly await your testimony |
2Ballz:You really don't get it. It is not about you arguing or not, I just helped you realise that you wrote thrash up there. THRASH. Try to read up and understand what the TCS you are flinging about means, it is not hard to grasp. What you wrote was crap beside what Jaymamma wrote, don't you dare compare your mumbled write up to hers. Maybe you should start from understanding grammar before aiming for medical terms. Biko, don't let us derail this thread. Just stay away please, I beg you, it is not by force. You have your threads, stick to them and leave the women here alone. |
2Ballz:I actually just took my time to go through what you wrote again and I have a question from the sentence above because you apparently don't know what a TCS is versus 'removing the tube' as you wrote. TCS is tubal corrective surgery which can be either salpingectomy (removing the tube) or a salpingostomy (clearing the adhesions to improve patency) though the latter has poorer results and isn't always successful. No medically inclined person as you termed yourself will write all what you wrote up there. |
Jaymamma:Dear Mama, There is no proof of him being a medical personnel. He is just some desperate wanna be who has been begged to leave this thread and actually left once before and even changed moniker. He does paid phone consultations on urology, obs/gynae and any other medical condition you can think of. He has threads of his own but they generate so little traffic that he needs the wide reach on threads like this to spew his ignorance and lure unsuspecting women/people. |
2Ballz:Of course you should. It was written by a practicing medical doctor who knows what she is talking about and has no issues communicating it. |
A huge congrats to all March mums that have put to bed, God bless you and your precious gifts April mums, Jina24(cappo of cappos) ; I hail Mama Zaynie (I already confessed that I stalk your diary) Happy Birthday Ma'am, God bless you and yours real good! Mama Tuoyo, been a while, I hope (and really pray) you are good. Have a good weekend everyone. |
positivemummy2:Congrats ma'am! God bless you and be with you every step of this journey. Many more BFPS to come on this thread by God's grace. Congrats! |
