bunmi111:Ma'am, those growths are a bit big to start considering alternative therapies. No one prays for surgeries or likes the idea but sometimes they are necessary. I will advise you get a good hospital for the procedure, meet your Gynae, ask questions, be involved and informed. It is well |
It won't be fair if I don't drop a review. Excellent communication, Good bargain, Well washed, 10/10. Greater heights for you I pray!! |
Jina24:Thanks for checking Ma'am. 33+4 today and honestly, coming this far has been a testimony, one that I hope to share here someday, God willing. Wishing all mamas here safe deliveries and awesome testimonies and looking forward to more of the mums on the TTC thread replying to roll calls here. |
2Ballz:I seriously don't know why I took part in your poll but abeg oga, ply your trade elsewhere. There are real professionals mamas can contact if need be not some uncertified 'medical professional'. If you are so interested, create your own thread, let whoever wants your assessments contact you there but leave this place sane for women who have enough to deal with abeg. Thank you |
rabluk:Congrats Mama, she will always be a blessing a source of joy to you and your family. Amen |
Towerofgrace:Words can't describe but I stand with you in prayer that soon, testimonies shall spring forth from you. I read your diary, was so happy when I saw your announcement on the TTC thread and I pray to rejoice you with you again very soon. It will be well ma'am. God will wipe every tear, every single tear. I love you and will be praying for you. |
MamaTuoyo:Ma'am, been an avid reader of your diary for a while. I don't know you in person but this news was like it came from a sister or close friend that it made me so happy. Congrats, God bless you over and over and over. Congrats ma'am GOD BLESS YOU and keep you and yours. He will perfect all that concerns you. I raise you up as a point of contact to all the mamas in the TTC thread too. |
Jina24:Cappo! Well done. Thanks for checking. We thank God for the journey so far. I am trying to be fine (between watching and praying for the babe's inconsistent kicks and praying there is nothing wrong with the baby due to multiple medications used due to several pregnancy related issues that even warranted a short hospital stay) A huge congrats to December mums, God bless and strengthen you all and crown this journey with testimonies. |
Rbae:A pinard horn Used to listen to foetal heart sounds. |
Huge congratulations to all October mums, God bless you all. Especially Mama Zaynie( I think I am getting addicted to your diary.) Your selflessness and how you just seem to make time for others ehn, ma'am may God bless you in ways you never imagined. Mama Rbae, it is well. We place you in God's Hands, He who knows you best and loves you indescribably. April 2019 mums, a big shout out to you all. |
Good morning mamas! Hmm.... Allah gives and Allah takes! Am hurting sisters, am really hurting but who am I to say no when God has decreed a thing. Dear ma. I know I can't explain or understand what you are going through but you have been on my mind since yesterday and I have been praying for you and refreshing this page. I am so so sorry and I pray that God will paint this picture and perfect your story in that indescribable way that only He can. Please be strong. I love you, we all love you and I know I am not the only one praying for you or crying with you for now. Soon, we will laugh and rejoice with you and yours. God bless you Bunny19 |
lawvlypearl:Thanks ma'am. Wish I could speed the days to 2019 already. Yes o, team April 2019. Edd according to LMP is the 13th. |
Tabsy:Thanks ma'am. You almost sound like a Superwoman. Your 23 weeks scared the hell out of me though. Women are strong I swear. God help us all. Yes, beverage; Milo and milk I haven't been cooking but can't eat food prepared by my husband or from an eatery, can't even stand fish or meat especially fried but I can eat smoked fish sometimes. I will try the warm water (cold water didn't work) Thank you very much |
I am almost 11 weeks pregnant. Someone asked about food aversions but the answers are few and don't even apply to me. I can't take pap, solids, veg, nothing. I can't even drink water without vomiting though I am on Vit B6. Fruits and Tea are all I can manage but I still get tired and hungry. Everyone keeps saying I should try little by little and lacing me with drugs but it doesn't help. please any other suggestions? Thank you |
Samadict:You can try Ifako Ijaiye General Hospital. Also Promise Hospital, Adealu, Dopemu. He was quite patient though I had tons of questions, waited for hours on a Saturday so I switched to Wednesdays- usually less busy. If you have the time though and you don't mind a Government Hospital, Ifako Ijaiye is it. I am sure you will still get other good options to compare. |
Chioma4u:Hi ma'am. Exactly what do you want to know about ovarian cysts? I had on both ovaries a few years ago, the one on the right was large enough to have the entire ovary and fallopian tube taken out. The cyst on the left was removed. I was scared I would have issues conceiving with technically one ovary though I know and have heard otherwise. I got pregnant some months after getting married. Just try to go to a good Hospital, work in sync with your Doctors, ask questions if you are not clear and be well informed and pray. Shalom! *** Also, sorry to say this. I saw your comment on Janmon's thread. We are all different and I may not really know what you are going through and what extent you are willing to go to achieve it but please be careful. Thread cautiously and don't part with money. The Janmon is obviously the 'Dr Wale' or a front for him. Hence her aggressiveness with spamming threads about how wonderful the Dr is. Please be careful. It will be well. I will be praying for you and I am sure so many other on this thread are too. **** Modified. Just saw a thread on staphylococcus aureus where those scammed by 'Dr Wale' commented. https://www.nairaland.com/2188504/staphylococcus-aureus-herbal-cure-steps/48 |
![]() glimpse:...as in ehn, that is how I feel when I see posts on this thread too |
Pounded yam and efo elegusi. whew!
|
2Ballz:...can you just please write in simpler and easy to understand sentences? Reading your posts can be really stressful. Also, please stop interpreting results online and commenting about health issues please. Some of your posts especially as LuckyG1 and especially on the TTC group were incorrect, wrongly phrased and appalling. |
doctorregular1:...what if I am not a 'doc'? Your post initially sounded a bit haughty that was why I replied. I have seen your reply to him. Best wishes! |
adeblow:People (bloggers especially) snap or obtain and circulate the pictures for their gossip blogs and circulate without the parents permission, that is why I asked. |
Good work op. You asked for criticisms, which I think is cool and you/we are all learning, so here goes. 1. Your tenses, someone already mentioned it. Past and present are mixed in a few sentences. I am sure they were mistakes you failed to note while editing and it shows the importance of reading through completed works repeatedly. 2. Parches? Always check the spelling of words in a dictionary if you are unsure, even for common words. 3. In the beginning you tried with your sentences but as you wrote on, long sentences crept in and they can bore your reader. When you become a successful and established writer you can bend writing rules however you deem fit but for now it won't hurt to read about the basics of fiction writing. Good work, really. |
2Ballz is not a medical doctor 2Ballz is not a medical doctor. 2Ballz is not a medical doctor!!! These online threads are to guide you, not for treatment purposes and are honestly getting out of hand, please always find time/ try to visit reputable standard Hospitals. |
adeblow:...with or without the parent's permission? What exactly do you hope to gain by doing that too? Hot gist for nairaland? likes? I don't understand |
doctorregular1:He didn't say he was a dentist. Dear Lasuth dental student, we have seen you. How are you? Your set should be preparing to round up now. |

Implants are 2,000$ on the average other options of replacing missing anterior teeth include 1. Removable denture (5-10k per one) 2. A bridge (permanent) 30k and above for each prepared tooth and you may need two teeth to support one) |
Maybe you should not reply to everything you see on Nairaland because in trying to sound intelligent you may sound the other way sometimes. 1. Impacted teeth are extracted surgically (not the routine extraction which can also be more than 10,000 in Ikoyi and environs by the way) and can cost up to 50,000 in different centres ma'am 2. If he said he had pain during an extraction, who are you to accuse him of lying? Extractions should be painless but things happen, maybe the dentist wasn't so experienced, maybe he needed to have more local anaesthesia and he didn't get any. Why not read about causes of failure of local anaesthesia online. Educate yourself, then think before replying to posts. Also, impacted third molars are not replaced with dentures ma'am. |
Been stalking this thread for ages, finally decided to post today... GoTV, sending lots of hugs and healing your way.

LuckyG1:Nairalanders really need to be careful with online contributions especially in regards to their health. I keep myself from commenting on your posts on the TTC thread. Oga, only you will use complex medical terms on Obs/Gyn,Urology, and you still have time to comment on Nairaland threads and paid phone consultations? I really don't understand this your hustle again. |
This depends on the extent of the fracture and the health of the tooth. If it is simply chipped and no other pathology, you can opt for a composite build up. This costs about 5/6 thousand in any government hospital and as much as 8/13/15 in Private clinics. N.b the tooth may need a crown, an xray or further treatment if there is any associated pathology. All the best! |
