North dont care much about degrees as long as they still have Niger Delta OYEL under their control. They easily get admission with IJMB and Pre-degree programmes into courses of their choice and then get 'targeted recruitment' from CBN and NNPC.

They dont spend money buying jamb forms that will give people from Imo unmarketable courses which they did not apply for like History, sociology, philosophy, forestry that CBN and NNPC will not 'target' them for employment.

It depends on your school or department, you can study Fisheries for one year, get really good grades and switch to Pharmacy in 200 level instead of writing another Jamb which you're not sure of getting the admission. I did it and it worked for me
