PoliticsRe: We’ll Resume Our Struggle If Buhari “draws First Blood” – Asari Dokubo by shady26(m): 9:00am On May 21, 2015
OrlandoOwoh:
Nigerians fear Boko Haram more than Niger Deltan militants.
You are correct, Nigerians fear bokoharam more than the militants because unlike bokoharam that goes on wanton killing of innocent citizens, the militants pose little danger to the average Nigerian Citizen. However Be sure of this, the government Fears these Militants more than BH cause of the loss of revenue usually occasioned by their activities. Nigeria needs to sit down and address the real issues giving rise to these armed groups in the ND and not attempt to sweep it under the carpet.
No Nation progresses under such groups as BH and MEND

PoliticsRe: On Biafra And Lower Niger by shady26(m): 12:00am On May 18, 2015
EBCO:
I am sorry to disappoint you guys, I am not in for this Biafra and Lower Niger thing, neither am I in for this cessation nonsense!

I will not be party to an institutionalized creation of smaller minorities within the minority.

Before we leap, don't forget: The Igbos used the instrumentality of government power to almost extinguish the other tribes and ethnic groups on this side of the Niger, during the reign of regional system of government; All schools were in Igbo land, even though the white man came through the sea; All commercial cities were in Igbo land even though the produces were from Etche, Ikwerre, Ogoni, Orashi, and ijaw lands; the rail system was conjured to start or terminate in the heart of Igbo land, even though they had no raw materials and sea ports; They forced the teaching of Igbo cultures and use of Igbo language in schools and churches and systematically almost exterminated the traces of other groups around this area; and when it was war time, they made the Niger Delta the battlefield.

The Ikwerre man loves to hate and cheat the Etche man even though we are brothers, the Ijaws think themselves alone as Niger Deltans, the Ogoni man continues to be used and dumped. So why should I willfully subject myself to yet another generation of slavery or be joined in a marriage bliss, or sex without mutual orgasm? What is in this breakaway for an Etchepian? Tell me why i should change my mind.

What I believe in and will continue to agitate for, is the kind of political goal congruence in the North and working at building a viable economic structure in the entire southern Nigeria. Politically, the entire south must realize that there is blessing in diversity. We must mobilise our diversity into a common political goal and support it with a strong economic base from the resources God has blessed us with- From Badagry to Bonny to Bakassi to Awka, we must form a political block with which we battle the North who have declared us infidels. It is an intellectual war, not a physical combat.

Biafra say, Biafra no say, Lower Niger say, upper Niger no say , all na the same thing! It is the same Ikwerre to Etche treatment!

I wash my hands off this treachery!

Eze Basil Chinwendu Oluo.
Writing from #1 Amadioha avenue, Etche.
Please Kindly return to us the igbo names Eze and Chinwendu you are bearing.
Am tired of listening to this your song of being wrongly termed igbo when you are not. the consequence of Nzeogwus coup was the massacre of thousands of igbos in the north and in its aftermath a civil war that led to the death of over 2 million igbos. till today, the Nigerian state exonerates itself from any wrongdoing claiming igbos brought the war on themselves with what they termed an igbo coup. Yet i have not seen till date igbos denying Nzeogwu and ifeajuna as not being their sons or that the coup is an aniocha, ika or even an agbor coup even at so costly a price. huh huh huh
shame on all of you bearing igbo names and speaking igbo as your native tongue still trying very hard to get the worlds attention to your claim of not being igbo. Please find out were you all come from and your original identity so we can take you all serious

igbos are also blindly emotional, that is also their weakness. they were willing to stand behind GEJ irrespective of what happened during the biafran war only because they still considered him their Brother and one of their own first, before and above any bUHari or TUNUbu & Changi Noise.....

Also, based on the 5 major human geographical divisions we have in Nigeria

The Core-northern part of Nigeria, the Middlebelt part, Eastern, Western & Niger deltan

Let's say Margaret Ekpo represents the Niger deltan region as an Ibibio
Ladi Kwali represents the Middlebelt region as a Gbagyi woman
& Funmilayo Kuti represents the Western (yoruba speaking region)

I'd like to hear from Igbos (easternerns) and the Hausa-fulanis (core-northernerns), who are the most influential Igbo & Hausa-fulani women that ever lived??
Margaret ekpo was an igbo woman married to an ibibio man

NO scavenger in Islam .... so Islam has noting to do with it .. go to All part of the world And notice How The New convert and Revert in Islam practise their Islam .... very excellently... we just have so many hopicrate in Islam pretending to practice the Islam .. and also killing .. all in d name of Islam ....
Muslims are known to pretend to be a peaceful lot while they are in the minority. the converts you are talking about are only bidding their time to when they will outnumber their hosts , then KABOOM!!!!!!!!! ALAAAAH AHKBAHU!!!!!!!. really you need to sit down and ask yourself if you are not on the wrong road to eternity. ask yourself if it is really God you worship or something else that thirsts for blood. Mind you their is nothing valiant or brave in murdering those who would rather not fight you or those you have outnumbered. the day Christians round the world decide to go back to the crusades, Muslims would become an endangered specie. However lets practice what we preach, Don't just tell me its a religion of peace, practice the peace .
John.10:10 " the thief and the enemy comes only to steal, kill and destroy"
Jesus Christ came preaching love, raising the dead ,healing the sick, preaching salvation to the sinner and in the process gave his life.God raising him up the 3rd day and today he is alive and will surely return someday.
On the contrast Mohammed came and propagated his message as we were told by fighting wars, murdering and killing all who stood in his way.in the end he dead, was buried and never rose again. I am still waiting for the day Muslims will go out on evangelism to preach their good news or peace news to the infidels instead of taking up knives to shed blood that they can not give, taking lives that they and their leaders have no power to bring back.

Saying Jonathan performed anywhere in Nigeria is like lying with both sides of your mouth.

The josites who voted APC removed the kafirs too? The Tivs who voted APC in Benue are kafirs too? The eggons who voted APC in NASARAWA are Kafirs too?

Dankwambo was returned as governor in Gombe, a state that often had Book Haram Attack too despite him being in PDP. The people voted Buhari 2 weeks ago massively but rewarded him for his service on Saturday.

I don't think Dankwambo did half of what Okorocha did in Imo but today look at the multitude of opposition against him because he belonged to an amala and ewedu party not because of his personality but his party.

Does the party he belong too remove the fact he is an Imo son
who told you rochas is an imo son? No Imo son promises 2million naira to any imolites who convert to islam.....No imo son opens his mouth to tell igbos they are being done a favor by APC in allowing them do bussiness peacefully in Lagos

I'm very, very sorry to say this, but I must just pour out my mind irrespective of how tribalistic my comment may look. Igbo people are making century wrong political calculation. Reason: everybody should understand that power must shift back to the south after Buhari Administration and we know that its only southeast region that had never produced President in the country. There comes the person with national appeal that hold the savy, without being tagged tribal lord, okorocha stands tall among others but these people will just hate without rational thinking. I think they should rally round this man now or be shouting of self inflicted marginalization later. They always fall victims of their actions. History beckons. Bashing allowed and welcome. Thanks.
And what will an igbo man being president do for us? Do not for once think an average igbo mans survival lies with any government in power, we don'nt think that way besides the north that has been in power for more than 38 years how market? mitcheeeewwwwwwwwwww

Rochas Okorocha is so popular that normal votes surpassed PDP rigging even with armed thugs, police and army. That is what you get when a Governor is for the masses. Any statistician that does analysis of the result will get clear bias. Okorocha won 21 out of 27 LGAs and PDP got over 300thousand votes by winning in only 6. Ihedioha and all those involved should be jailed for this insult to common sense.

I don't really care about Ambode's educational background or qualifications. I don't care about the experience he has or who his Godfather is. As long as the People of Lagos State are still not feeling the real dividends of democracy, then Project Ambode has a lot of work in its hands. There are still many parts of Lagos State that look like ruins from a war zone. Many roads in Lagos are still not tarred. Many People in Lagos are still homeless and the Estates being built by the Fashola Administration have been priced out of their reach. Corruption is still a big issue in Lagos State and I am yet to see the ordinary people of Lagos State being really touched by the policies of the Fashola Government. Cheers.

safarigirl:
Whenever I read ceertain articles or watch adverts, movies or even doccies, I've noticed that S/South is called the east.

Even in government or commerce you find that Port Harcourt especially is referred to as the Eastern Region so certain companies with branches in PH call it the regional HQ for the East. I was watching an advert on Nigerian tourism and it was said that "Tinapa is located in the state of Cross River, Eastern Nigeria"

I just want to know why S/South and more specifically the States of Rivers, Cross river and Akwa-Ibom are called East in formal parlance and then South South/Niher Delta when revenue sharing is brought up
Have you ever seen the map of Nigeria before? pls kindly locate were Akwaibom or crossriver is on the map then come and clean this your post.

My name is Tracy.I was raised up in a divided home where my dad have to take care of myself and my younger sister alone after my mother left us for another man.My dad did all he could for us to see us through life.He sacrificed everything for us.He chose not to get married again because of us.Without being told u should know wat it means for a man to raise two females alone. That was a difficult and time-consuming task if u ask me.Throughout these years my mother never surfaced. To cut d long story short,I'm now old enough to get married now,but my dad insisted I marry from his religion which we were also brought up wit.Now d problem is,my dad wants me to marry from his religion at all cost due to his position and d love he is getting from d members!I on my part tried dating a man from his religion when d pressure from him was much.He threatened to disown me and never attend my wedding if I go outside his religion. Hmmm!this is my lovely dad that I can't trade d love I have for him for anyone! This man he wants me to marry is poor,he has no education of any kind not even secondary school but I am a graduate! The man in question is 39 while im 27.The man loved me very well and I've even gone to see his family but my heart is very FAR from him I swear. Now I want ur honest opinion, will I not be an ingrate if I go against my fathers wish?I will only be happy if I'm allowed to marry d man of heart but at d same time I want my dads happiness, wat do I do?
marry the man of your heart,ur dad will get over it and live with it cause he loves you unreservedly. Be forced to marry that man he is pushing towards you and you will unhappy and miserable the rest of your life to the point of resenting your father for it. be wise, your daddy is old now, handle him with wisdom and love as you would your baby. u dont give him every thing he wishes because you love him......
