Uti Nwachukwu has said that Nollywood producers can’t afford to pay him what he really wants to earn as an actor.

The actor revealed this during an interview with Punch. According to the Big Brother Africa winner, he took a break from acting because it doesn’t pay much.

A new infographic is revealing some surprising, updated facts on the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, following the conclusion of its seventh season. The fantasy/drama, which will be concluding sometime in 2018 or 2019 with its final eighth season and will be followed by a currently unknown number of spin-off prequels, is known for breaking records when it comes to its viewership and ratings.

Aside from critical reviews and the amount of people tuning in Sunday nights, Game of Thrones is also known for some less appealing big numbers – most notably being character deaths. During the first season’s penultimate episode back in 2011, fans were shocked and in disbelief when fan-favorite character and, seemingly the main protagonist at the time, Ned Stark (played by Sean Bean) lost his head on the Sept of Baelor. Kunle Afolayan has released the official trailer for his new movie, “The Bridge.”

The film pairs Demola Adedoyin and Chidinma Ekile as Obadare, a Yoruba prince, and Stella, a young lady from a distinguished Igbo family, respectively.

Their relationship is threatened by tribal prejudice and parental plans for each’s life. When the couple secretly weds against their parents’ wishes, the consequence shakes the very foundation and sustenance of both families.

“The Bridge” also stars Binta Ayo Mogaji, Zack Orji, Kunle Afolayan, Tina Mba, Adebayo Salami, Lere Paimo Wole Olowomojuore, Lanre Hassan, Jimoh Aliu and Mama Ray-Eyiwumi.

Universal has released the first trailer for “Fifty Shades Freed,” the third and final installment of the adaptation of E.L. James’ “Fifty Shades of Grey” trilogy.

The trailer which promises plenty erotic scenes shows Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele’s wedding, their honeymoon, steamy scenes and Anastasia shooting a gun.

A sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey” (2015) and “Fifty Shades Darker” (2017), the film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively.

Following the events of “Fifty Shades Darker,” Christian and Ana are now married. However, Ana’s life is threatened when her former boss, Jack Hyde, swears revenge for being fired from SIP.

Elena also returns to haunt Christian and makes the couple’s lives a lot more troublesome.

“Fifty Shades Darker” is directed by James Foley, and produced by Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and Marcus Viscidi, alongside E L James, who wrote the blockbuster series.

Tyrese Gibson is refusing to come back for Fast & Furious 9 if Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson appears in the film. This is the latest escalation in the actor’s war of words with his co-star. The first sign of trouble between the two happened when Tyrese took to social media to publicly plea with The Rock not to star in a spin-off featuring his character Hobbs. Nonetheless, a Hobbs solo movie was announced shortly after, and Fast & Furious 9 was then pushed back to 2020.

Since then, Tyrese has called out The Rock on several occasions, calling the actor “selfish” for his actions. Tyrese also claims to have previously turned down a spin-off adventure featuring his character Roman and Tej, played by Lucadris. Jaime Lannister himself is as much in the dark as everyone else about season 8 of Game of Thrones, as star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is claiming the cast will not be getting full scripts for the upcoming final season.

The official runtime for Thor: Ragnarok refutes former reports and confirms Taika Waititi’s Marvel movie to be the longest Thor film yet. The God of Thunder, played by Chris Hemsworth, first joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Kenneth Branagh’s 2011 film, Thor, and he returned to join the ranks of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in The Avengers. The superhero’s second solo film arrived in Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World in 2013, and he returned again to his team of fellow heroes in Avengers: Age of Ultron. What reasons? The main casts are heavily paid - fact. Only Peter Dinklage and Lena Hadley deserves such wages - fact. Or are you also oblivious of the fact that CGI in movies cost a fortune?
And yes the CGI scenes are irrelevant!.

Just because Universal pushed its next Fast and the Furious chapter back a year doesn’t mean the studio is sitting idle.
