What I see on Twitter is enough to convince me that the country called Nigeria still has a long way to go if it hopes to record any significant growth. Youths in Nigeria have outsourced their thinking capacity to Twitter political influencers.

Whatever these Obedients read on Twitter from their favourite accounts becomes the truth automatically. They don't even bother to question the veracity of whatever they consume anymore, they just begin to parrot it around. Just Yesterday, there was another stupid rumour about Tinubu blackmailing Southeast politicians he will not consider the region for Senate Presidency if they don't pressure Obi to withdraw his tribunal suit. Just ridiculous.

Thank God the fake news champions on this thread didn't bring that here anyway. That's a consolation I will take.

Seriously, I've stopped reading the hype of these guys abroad because they're making some of us feel less achieved.

One was talking about a project of #250M hotel completed in Nigeria and I don't even know if na this same abroad I dey with them too. Also talked about him being here for just two years or so and he's bought a condo home, build many hostels for student in Nigeria and on his way to complete a #250Million hotel in Nigeria also.

I been here in this abroad and I can't even boast of $10k USD. It's well Sha. I just hope they're not lying with all these things they're saying.

As you stay away from drugs, stay away from alcohol and smoking too.

Stay away from taking synthetic medication or any as much as you can. A cold bath is sometimes just as effective as swallowing that Aspirin or Paracetamol.

And stay away from circles where drugs and alcohol are consumed uninhibited. That includes wild parties and clubbing if you can.

Substance abuse isn't something to be proud of though it's seemingly glamourized, even on this thread.

It's not sanctimony - it's being responsible for your mental and physical health.
