The people's mandate must be recovered from the thieves. Obi is a divine project. Evil fights good but on the long run, the good must triumph. We are blessed to have you sir A leader whose jurisdiction is social media. That's the only place he is really popular and that's the only place he will have relevance. He should take his L and cook it, along with his supporters who always like making noise on social media. |

Connoisseur: My views on the 2023 Presidential elections are not and will not be popular amongst my tribesmen and region but it is still my opinion and I reserve the right to hold them.
Against all odds and against every substantial hurdle placed in his path, Bola Ahmed Tinubu contested and won the elections; fact. From the consensus factor in the party primaries to the emergency naira notes redesign because of some alleged 400 billion naira stockpile of old notes, Tinubu came out victorious.
This election also points out the brazen sentimental approach and selfish demeanor of most Nigerians who are so comfortable with breaking the law and disregarding the provisions of the constitution as long as it is done in their favour.
I do not believe that most Nigerians actually goaded and supported the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to disregard a substiting order of the Supreme Court just because they believed it was in their favor. Nigerians were ready to forgive the 8 years of disaster called Buhari regime because he broke while seeming to fight their enemy who was considered his enemy at that time too.
Our people queued behind the call to the President to cancel the collation of a national election not minding the dangerous precedent it was going to set and the dangers inherent for our democracy, all these for the fact that a candidate was loosing in the polls.
Peter Gregory Obi is a good man with good intentions but sadly, he could not garner enough votes to be the President. This was not surprising to many discerning and politically enlightened Nigerians, himself included. He put up a fierce fight, won many battles but lost the war. It is not the end of the road. This is the time to strategise, form alliances and wait for his time.
To BAT, you have won the war. Be magnanimous in victory. Prove your critics wrong. You were not wrong to aspire to the highest office in the land. You built alliances, paid your dues and waited for your time. It is not wrong to dream. Heck, everyone of us has our dreams. Be fair to Nigeria and Nigerians and make living in Nigeria worth it.
To my tribesmen, I can understand the pressure to go to our previous slogans. But if we pay our dues, try to build alliances with others, we might actually get our dues that have been denied us for a long time. We will all be better off in a prosperous, working Nigeria.
Disagree or agree, this is my opinion and I hold the right to it the bolded is gold. It shows just how terrible many Nigerians are. Even among those who support Peter Obi. |

INEC there is soo much proof of irregularities!
Count our votes!! Rectify rivers, akwaibom, benue states and restore our true margins of victory!!
You cannot ignore the numerous cases of broad daylight theft! You're here shouting inec, don't you know their office or their website, where you can lay your objections (if you have any) instead of disturbing this space with your ramblings, Mr Nigeria will burn. Tssk. |

Of what use is it to Peter Obi to win Asiwaju in Lagos and lose the presidential election. Some people just can't think even though they have brains. |

DissTroy: Twisted logic.
Did the people blame Buhari for Yahaya Bello's misrule and thuggery?
Obi didn't campaign for them. They just jumped on his bandwagon and are coasting to victory. Just like a hated El Rufai did in 2015.
I have been seeing LP candidates who didn't organise a single rally sweep polls in many areas. It's shocking because even LP party agents don't know these candidates' names. people blamed Buhari for everything that is wrong with Nigeria and last I checked, Kogi state is part of Nigeria. |

DissTroy: Even more interesting in these elections is that unknown candidates who jumped on the Peter Obi wagon would end up being House of Representatives members and Senators on the Labour Party playform.
Some LP HoR and Senate candidates are sweeping results and people don't even know theirvnames.
The Peter Obi effect might is just as powerful in the SS and SE ad Buhari's in the North West in 2015. I hope you know when those senators and house of reps members start misbehaving or don't perform, the people who voted for them will start blaming Peter Obi? 😁 |

StarchAndBanga: What is the "what is right" we are supposed to be doing? let me give you and exmaple: You work in a bank, and your job is to load the ATM machine with cash, but instead of doing that, you opened a POS store close to the ATM machine and supply the POS operative with your personal cash and start making business out of it, while neglecting to do the business you're getting paid for. Now loading that ATM machine is the right thing to do. |
