Lol. As usual. I know fcmb have one of the worse customer service amongst the banks in Nigeria.

Majority of the bank staff are outright rude, and speak to customers as if they're doing them a favour.

I won't be surprise if the bank staff buying fabrics get away with this nonsense. After all, what it now takes is to know someone in high place and all will be swept under the carpet.

You're liberal. So am I somewhat. Same with a few other people. But for reasons of intersocial debates, we have continued to share this thread with Amoto94, an irredeemable murderous fundamentalist.

For reasons of political engagements, Obi has continued to share the room with those with less noble ideals than his.
I can literally count how many posts I've made on this thread, then again, I've never for once in my notice, quoted that guy or even have any association with him. Though I understand what you are saying. Obi still have the choice of choosing who and whom he associates with.

For the umpteenth time, Obi has never claimed to be a saint. His antagonizers are the ones who have placed that hallo on his head.

It's a case of a virgin who isn't perfect walking into a room full of whôres. Every time she says anything about anything, the insecure whores go, "So because you are a virgin, you think you're better than us? You think we didn't see you holding hands with Ben and Bayo the other day?"

Holding hands doesn't equate having sex or screwing around but they'd try to project their moral failings on her regardless just to feel better about themselves being whöres.
then the question now is: what is a virgin who isn't perfect doing in a room full of whores?

Of what business does a bricklayer have associating with an armed robber? "We are all guilty by association, no?".

what's the usual budget for Superman animated movies...
They always have 1990s animation anyway...
You can't tell me those movies use up to $10m as budget minus advertising

RWBY has always had terrible CGI animation...

I'm pretty sure $20m is a big leap...
Look at what Demon Slayer did with $15.75m

Except they wanna go for the ARCANE level animation

*Modified
I just checked online...
The average DC animated movie costs only about $3m to make
No wonder they're still using 1980s animation wtf
abeg drop link make I download this anime sharp sharp, the success for box office just give me goose bumps. LoL

Joe, you've forgotten so soon a Nigerian atheist , Mubarak Bala, who was kidnapped by Hisbah since 2020 then after international outcry he was tried for blasphemy and sentenced to 24 years imprisonment this year?

He only got away with prison sentence because of pressure groups from the West.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-60997606
Alright, I understand this now. I believe he was only arrested and convicted because he was in Kano. Fancy him being arrested for blasphemy in a place like Lagos.

Also, the guy had like 18 charges slammed against him for which he pleaded guilty. That says alot, no?

You're arguing about Jurisdiction, which isn't really relevant to your original request.

You asked me ro show you where Sharia is one of the laws of rhe Federal Reublic of Nigeria, which I have shown you.

The matter of Jurisdiction is moot since offence was commited in a Sharia state that defaults to Sharia law for both civil and criminal matters.

Your point about Jurisdiction over non-Muslims is neither here no there, because the people that practice Sharia where they want to practice already do so, and have been doing so since 1960.
on the contrary, I asked you to show me where Sharia law is the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. I didn't ask for you to show me where Sharia law is among the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. They are two different things.

My point about jurisdiction isn't here or there. It is fact. Muslims in the south, many of them don't even practice Sharia. Heck, many of them in the south don't even observe their 5 times daily prayer. In the north it is different.

So bro, Sharia law is not the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. Non Muslims can't be trialed over offenses relating to Islam, this is why most Muslims in the north always resort to Mon action whenever things like blaspheming happen.

Nigeria doesnt have just one law. Nigeria is a pluralistic when it comes to legal frameworks as enshrined in multiple successive constitutions.

This is why a Nigerian court ruled THIS YEAR that Islamic religious law does not violate the constitution, dismissing a test-case challenge from a singer who was sentenced to death two years ago on the charge of blasphemy.

https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/nigerias-sharia-blasphemy-law-not-unconstitutional-court-rules-2022-08-17/

Joe, bro, we're a muslim country, and have been since the start grin grin
I tell you this, there is no where in the constitution where it is stated that Sharia law must apply to non Muslim.

Whoever that singer is, the lawyer who defended him doesn't know what he or she is doing. Putting someone on trial for the case of blaspheming against another religion is a no no. I believe that singer was trialed for offenses capable of causing breach of peace etc, not blaspheming.

Also, Sharia law isn't unconstitutional. It is visibly enshrined in the 1999 constitution. So whoever commits blaspheming will be trialed for offenses relating to causing breach of peace etc, not for blaspheming, as long as the person isn't a Muslim.

Reason why in core North even Christian women cover their head in scarf always and dress similar to their environment
Wrong. Even in the core north the law of the federal republic of Nigeria stands firm.

Women who cover their hairs do so because they want to. I've lived in the core north before so I know this.

Shariah Law was constitutionally present at Independence
No doubt Sharia law has been present but it's not the law of the federal republic of Nigeria. Sharia law only apply to Muslims not christians or people of any other faith.

But the penalty for blasphemy according to Islam is not jungle justice or is it?

Someone can support the penalty for blasphemy according to the tenets of their believe and still be against jungle justice irrespective of why the mob carried it out.

They are not mutually exclusive.
when did the laws of islam become the law of the federal republic of Nigeria?
