Oritzy:"The Hausa (autonyms for singular: Bahaushe (m), Bahaushiya (f); plural: Hausawa and general: Hausa; exonyms: Ausa) are one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa. The Hausa are a diverse but culturally homogeneous people based primarily in the Sahelian and Sudanian Daura area of northern Nigeria and southeastern Niger, with significant numbers also living in parts of Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Chad, Togo, Ghana,[3] Sudan, Gabon and Senegal." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hausa_people Cc: eflintstone |
Oritzy:Sometimes I wonder where all this sentimentality will lead us to! List of stations around the world Voice of America BBC a UK radio station, Deutchwelle a German radio station Radio France International China Radio International e.tc have been broadcasting in Hausa for only-God knows how long because they recognise the spread of the Hausa Language and so you know the BBC Yoruba and Igbo broadcast only came on board this year while the Hausa service has been on since 1957 Its not just because of Nigeria but because of its African spread! We shouldn't argue over everything when obvious facts stares us in the face! Goodmorning |
Deltayankeeboi:Lol....OK thank you... Goodmorning! |
LoJ:Reading through the comments until I came unto yours and a few others I now agree that not a few of our youths are intellectually lazy! Seun only broadened the discussion to make us see beyond the banal narrative Yahoo boys throw up that they are taking back what the whites took from us to make them understand that they are still leashed to the system "they think they are stealing from" He said "maybe if they were giving back to their community" just maybe, they would have had some credibility in his and our eyes but they still end up ploughing their dirty money back to enrich a system they stole from....and our brothers in here have turned the narrative to mean if you buy from the whites you are a mugu or we should buy made in Nigeria....where they got that from I can't still decipher! I see one quoting you up and down! |
Wiseandtrue:Where did he do his duty? How can NYSC post you to a PPA and you stay in your house or somewhere else and say "you are serving"... Hmmm...its obvious why corruption is at its peak with submissions like yours! |
BUHARIISCURSED:I hope you have your lesson today cos ur silly comment just got you spanked! Some of you that try to make an art out of inanity only makes us believe that intellectually lazy youths like you abound! Go back and read all the junk you posted and tell us if you will be proud to show it to your kid! Have a nice day! |
naijanative:Chaii this is savage! God have mercy on you...una no go kee pesin ![]() |
yeyerolling:Ororo dey ur head...Nigerians n silly excuses! |
JUHABACH:Where did you get this? I mean where in facebooks data policy statement does it even imply what you wrote? |
Amberon11:Nope bro...if he wasn't caught with his hand in the cookie jar would he have come clean? Forget the Hail Mary speech! |
Joseunlimited:After preaching on d need for salvation...then this? |
Realdeals:I dare say that it is as clear as daylight that Buhari is winning this! You are on point! |
bedspread:I am not staking a claim that he will win but one thing folks like you need to learn with Nigerian politics is not to say NEVER...Cos that's how people were shouting Buhari can NEVER be president... now the latest is 2019 we will ship him out and Atiku can NEVER be...story...No b Naija elections...e go b like film trick IF e happen!!! Whoever thought a Fayose will bounce back or Yahaya will be Governor in Kogi state... Jst calm down wen u dey shout this it can NEVER happen cos for Naija wey budget, satellite etc dey lost ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!! good morning bro!! |
hadizadeezy:Deezy baki game ba? Baki tuna David ba? Na gaya miki cewa na yi zama a maid ama yanzu ina Lokoja? Har ma munyi chatting kafun kin yi disapear kaman kanu(lol) |

GMBuhari:Interestingly, I remember taking you up on this issue and you expressed reservations that it will affect nairaland revenue! What changed your opinion on putting out another suggestion to the plethora of suggestion that has been said by different folks who have all gone quiet becos they have gotten tired of the filth that litters this platform! Abi u wan spoil nairaland revenue? i dnt agree with you that it wont change nothing when we havent even tried it out! I actually buy that idea of verification with a phone number to give one unbriddled access and unverified accounts have limitations! If reddit will survive all the stringent rules why won't Nairaland with all the good stuff that abound in here! This thread I believe like all the other threads that have copiously talked about this issue will die a natural death as we all watch as kids infests this platform with their inanity EXCEPT Seun proves us wrong! Oooops this is for @afam4eva |
izzou:You made copious sense bro! All I see is Christians who will rather mouth on social media and spread hate-filled BCs about some "agenda" wen theres nothing new under the face of the sun! The devils agenda is to.steal, kill and destroy! Yes thats their agenda! Do we Christians have an agenda? Are we pursuing it faithfully? Like you said anybody that tells us to kill doesn't know what he or she is saying cos the day we pick up arms against them, hmmm..that day we lose the moral ground to preach Christ's love and the moment we can't do that...checkmate!.. the devil got us exactly where he wants us! Somebody wl say that i can say this conveniently because i haven't been in d firing range but i read my bible and i didn't see Christ telling his disciples that our faith will be one rosy ride...as witnessed by how the disciples all died in the cause of preaching the gospel... Three things are key for the body Christ in my opinion; 1. Consistent soul winning drive and adequate support for missionaries 2. Consistent prayer...not this one off thing that we do in church...I mean an all year round, all denominational commitment to prayer for souls to capture "Sauls" in their camp 3. Let the christian body push forth the Daniels and Josephs to the corridors of power. For example a recession like ds should not catch the body of Christ unawares as we have seasoned economics who understand d times and seasons of world economy, who can prepare us to wade through it without stress because we have been fortified with knowledge! Instead of turning our pulpits to hate-pits where minds are poisoned concerning people who Christ said they dnt know what they are doin, this should be our drive! |
I couldn't agree more with the head of the Igbo Apex body...he spoke with wisdom as expected of a father-in one voice stating the pains and yearnings of the Igbos and in another voice stating the paramount need to stay within the ambit of the law while making grievances known....thus, he masterfully killed two birds with one stone! This portion of his speech is quite profound “Our approach to reforms of our laws even if it leads to self-determination or restructuring must be lawful. We must convince other Nigerians of our point of view, we must strive to make others share our convictions.“Our language must be civil, respectful and lead to consensus building. We must resist any attempt to turn division amongst us, as to which way we must go, become a source of altercations between us." cc: lalasticlacla |
FitnessDoctor:#Word...Thanks! |
FitnessDoctor:The story of the fit old Lady u put up is quite an inspiring one, considering how old she was when she hit the gym... |
earthrealm:Hahahahahahaha.. only very few will get the sarcasm! This is the world we live in bro with extreme superficiality! |
jessedaflow:Referendum is not going to come jst because they want one...it doesn't work that way! At least Scotland didnt seek a referendum today and got one tomorrow! There are a whole back and forth conversations that needs to be in place before governments even consider a referendum! This takes time! This has to come from your respected political leaders, traditional rulers, leading international figures, academics, celebrities among others. I pray tell me one of each of these who has stuck his neck for this cause! These are the folks that will drive and give life to this cause not teens on social media or some old men tying Biafra wrapper insulting anyone with a descenting opinion! That's not the way to get global attention to your plight bro! Are there Igbo's who don't believe in the cause...not a few let alone other tribes! Instead of encouraging a buy in by meeting them at their intellectual level...slurs are peddled at them! Are there non-igbos who left to them will rather see the Igbo leave...ye there are! And here again you folks bungle ds good will by lumping everyone with all those unsavoury epithets! Personally, I wish you folks well in your pursuits if you are one but I dnt see the dream happening if this approach is maintained! |
azimibraun:Bro U hit the nail on the head but this has been said over and again to this folks who believe their opinion reigns supreme...not taken anything away from the Igbos but i tell my igbo friends offline who are pro biafra that if it was the yorubas that wanted to secede they would be close to getting it...this is an intellectual struggle where you first sell your idea in a civil manner not this one anytime a topic pops up or someone says anything contrary to what they want to hear, they label the person an Afonja or an APC apologist! Scotland didn't secede ds way! |
9jakohai:Guy God bless you plenty...this folks will rather drag you to their level than accept the truth in ur words...u do kno how to make these folks choke on love! |
hardbody:I even checked ur spellchecker and it says other...it lists "opportuned" as a misspelling and also lists opportune as the correct one check this https://www.spellchecker.net/misspellings/opportuned?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C3311266957 |
hardbody:Spell checker ke...use a dictionary...who is talking about using a Nigerian blog...I maintain there is nothing like opportuned its opportune! |
hardbody:Sorry bro, I must say that your last few words gave you away as one bereft of any modicum of humility cos left to you, you have to be right! That is not a mark of humilty...woe betide me...hmmm..u were supposed to check before giving me a mention! |
hardbody:Wrong Son, wrong...nothing like "opportuned" just "opportune"...take note...Please a check a dictionary or google search it before u come to spar with me! We forgive you! |
Afam4eva:Oga Afam I was not surprised that she didn't kno o cos MOST of ds social media yeyebrities are as empty as they come! During service year I experienced all you said! Corp members will write letters for onward transmission to the L.I and making heads or tails of what they wrote leaves one with a migrane! Seriosly, our educational system is producing a generation of literate ignoramuses! |
subtlemee:Now your words make it look like Gospel artists seek validation from secular folks on cyberspace for their social buzz which is wrong! |
Mujaheeeden:Its ok bro no beef! |
Tomorrow, you wonder why some judges are corrup
