miketayo:Not at all.... He just has a warped mind about women.... Mistaking all women with women from his region. |
komzy589:Be careful madam when a typical Nigerian man compliments u as a wife material. They want women to die early but are not ready to work as men without dragging women along 50:50 income formula saying men will be overstressed. My mum worked similarly 8-5:30pm, leaving home almost 6am daily and while she wàs pregnant( we are 6 kids) had 2 or 3 maids at once. This did not stop my dad from doing house chores and compound cleaning.... Dad travels as a rare Professional in his field and mum too travels and may stay up to 1 month leaving my dad with 5 daughters and 2 or 3 females extra. We do ask our mum why she never for once felt agitated leaving my dad alone with 'many women'( lol) and my mum would respond that: your dad is a HONORABLE MAN.....He may have his faults but it is a NO NO for him to have anything to do wrongly with anyoñe under his care. And this man is someone his daughter's will DIE for if need be. I thank God my brother is walking in his footsteps( though big). Men these days need mentors from elderly men who succeeded in their marriages. I know Pastor Taiwo Odukoya used to run something strictly for men in his Fountain of life church. Women, marry men u love but he MUST love u MORE so that where he needs to make sacrifices for u, he will do it effortlessly.... Men marry when u are READY for the hassles of marriage... Let your husband get his own female relative to help u. |
FREDCLSSICO7:Wetin una dey see for this Burna boy sef? I have tried to listen to his songs but I'm always put off.... But u see this Calm down, especially the one he did with my baby girl Selena is da bomb: it is literally speaking an 'ordinary' song but I tell u, this song in years to come will still be evergreen |
Streetgent:Tony help build Cameroon's stadium almost single handedly as others weren't forthcoming when approached by Etoo. He gives entrepreneurial fund opportunity too to Cameroonians.... His bank is there too This may be outrightly tagged backstabbing if Otedola bought it first and Tony went behind him to rebuy it....Some people may express their thoughts which is what the other person has in mind too( remember great minds think alike) but because they are still expressing some doubts or looking at the cost that maybe it may not be worth it enough or has his money trapped in another deal and no immediate dollars in millions they don't proceed with their plans but feel angry when someone else gets it. Many of the oil blocks in Delta are not owned by Deltans, so if Mr T chooses to buy Ughelli Power Plant in his OWN home state then fair and square. |
Idaytesj29:Normally, I dont follow the usual thinking or action path of people The more reason the parent should try to fill that vacuum as much as possible especially with any new family the woman creates ( out of deep reasoning and inclusion of this child)... Mind u, the children of same mother ought to be closer than children of same father since she is the mum of all. The mum must step in even if the father isn't present When the child starts having his own family, we are having a 'clan' of our own. 'Once u born pikin, u must wear trouser especially for a son'. |
Idaytesj29:This is the mistake African women make .... They gladly enter a marriage and later discover that it would never work but will still open their eyes and born all their children for that man( even 2 isnt encouraged). It is better they give birth to one child or no child and if it isn't working, bundle that child and flee for peace of mind and easier adjustment to life whether married again or not. Divorced men with kids easily adjust than their ex wives, reason why women try to get compensations at least to move ahead |
Inasmuch as I would have loved the Igbos to clinch the SP's position but I know Akpabio is a performer, at least he kick-started modern Akwa Ibom. I will never forget when he used to say that he will turn Akwa Ibom to New York and a State of househelps around..... He really tried. I think on the average, Akwa Ibom has been blessed with good governors. |
A special child doesn't involve in any kind of marriage even if married before and it failed because God can't send u to where He isn't going to lead u. Same with a Prophetess marrying Orisa child.... How come? Sometimes, it may even appear like u are marrying late because God wont allow u marrying just ANY man. |
BigIyanga:These are Super rich guys..... When they are alive they can try organize their FAMILIES such that neither 9f the 2 needs to see each other to discuss anything on properties. But, don't say because u are this rich u now scatter yourself and cause some problems( of any form) then run go die |
This is what happens when men are supposed to face work to create a conducive or more conducive financial atmosphere for their family( wife and children) instead of having excess time to waste on side chic who now eventually becomes side wife. Many men prefer thinking about sex all the time than building on their businesses and investments. Receiving the 2nd family depends on what u mean. If it means sharing available property with them it is a NO NO since they are persona non grata in terms of legal recognition since there wasn't any legal divorce.... The family should continue being a secret family |
seunny4lif:Add Haiti, with headless government |
BaddestQueen:Pst Osinbajo is a father.... I have also benefited from him in 2010 in his writing project with free certificate@ his office.... Free, sweatless ' transport money' of N6000 total for 2 days with enough food, no need eating before coming. Still very grateful. |
Pochettino:Why do 40% of men on Nairaland choose to put (f) after their monikers, does it mean it is bad being a man or they aren't proud being men or they are bisexuals? |
snipernigga:He should have at least looked for one and equipped it in his home state or Abuja. Patricia Ngozi Boulaye aka Patty Boulaye of Joy girl's advert fame, some years ago built a hospital in her town @ Okpanam, Delta State and donated it to the government/ community to equip adequately. She is married to a British white. If a non Politician can do this, how much more one that has served for many years.... Even fighting crime, nothing stops our Councillors, Chairmen, Senators at all levels to try donate some CCTV Cmeras to reduce the incidence of robbery and kidnapping. Just that we are religious but don't fear God. Karma will still catch up with Bobo 21yrs.... Hope he has been given automatic citizenship for backstabbing his own kinsman? Someone isn't your relative and u agreed to follow him to UK, on what grounds please, abi wetin he tell them for embassy say him wan do for UK? |
ukaface:I is not easy to see a Naija girl sending $300 equivalent to her ex in prison in Nigeria but still our Naija men especially those on Nairaland will still not respect and cherish us.... One even wants us to start doing wifely things for him even when there isn't any guarantee of marriage to the lady. Some men here too price themselves and sometimes it is the way our ladies behave as if their Papa's name no dey more honourable than the thing they claim they want to marry that may eventually block all easy doors that would have opened by virtue of the girl's family's name/ reputation. |
Apprentices arent left out. U may even be an OND, HND, BSc graduate but choose to learn a trade and u see yourself doing other things beyond what u paid for( no matter how small) to learn including paying to do 'graduation' ceremony after the turmoil one went through learning. |
10years for prison sentence which is like being in school(9 months) will be 7.5 years spent for EK and 6 years will be 4.5 years at least, someone will come out earlier than the other to look after family.... Years later, they may still appeal if they conduct themselves well I pity the doctor serving his sentence(8 years) plus losing his license, though not doing due diligence cost the 3 a lot. Not everything is business. Just their record that will show ex convict but they can easily reintegrate back into Nigeria's system. Hoping the children for now will take charge of the home front.... Nigerian politicians I hope are learning so they do better for their society. |
Those burnt will need so much water poured on them to cool them off a bit and rehydrated with enough water..... Unbearable pain....Hoping no vital organ was touched ( God abeg). What pains me most are those whose gas cylinders would escalate the whole situation. Thought fire incidents occur towards the end of the year but this 2023, it has already started. |
piper7:Disrespect is everywhere now not only one tribe and I have noticed it especially those in their 20s to 30s( early)...... I was shocked the day a Yoruba girl far younger spoke rudely to me, and this isn't from her only.... I now remembered what one of my Yoruba friends told me when I lauded how u people greet / culture, she told me I should pray not to meet the werey types and not too long I started meeting them. Some can't use the magic words: Sorry, Please, Excuse me, Pardon, Thanks.... Seems you guys mistake proper character/ upbringing with salutation and demonstration that comes with it eg prostrating. Parents need to do more as some of these badly trained ones/ agberos are already birthing kids of theirs. Nigerians irrespective of how great/ little they greet/ salutation are still the torch bearers to other Africans. |
Streetdreamx:Dem plenty: Chris Okotie, Dizzy K Falola, Alex Zitto, Mike Okri, Sonny Okosun, Onyeka Onwenu, Christy Essien Igbokwe, Chris Hanen, Funmi Adams, Funmi( Fuji Garbage), Orlando Owoh, Ebenezer Obey,The guy in USA that sang Belinda etc |
Zonefree:Then 120% of men are totally mentally deranged because I know u are blind to all the crimes men commit including sleeping with dead ladies in their graves, reason why the families of the dead put padlocks on their graves. Your mum must have been a terrible person to have brought u to life instead of using u as menses.... She even watched u grow with so much hate for women in you.... Too bad.... Your wife go suffer well, well.... U have ALL the signs of an unreasonable, senseless spouse. |
This was my fear... Though our boys @ U17 are better than their big bros( the Super Eagles). Moroccans I hear are even better than us in cooking, even though we are King of cooking in black Africa. Seems like they are a step higher than us in many ways. |
phorget:Cameroonians call Ugwu leaf Jamanjaman. |
phorget:This your ugwu u plant..... Are u Cameroonian? *Hardest part of my job: Coping with the death of people after several interventions |
It is mostly on Nairaland I see where they say Nigerian women don't attract foreign men ... Maybe all this talk is a way of making our men feel good about themselves. Maybe not enough Nigerian women want to venture out to try these foreigners not that they can't get them. African men who eg Ghanaians, Beninoise, Cameroonians etc who can manage to convince our women for a date, will be in party mood throughout the following week( not kidding).... Our ladies are high premium though may not be valued enough by her men.... The men will prefer treating foreign women as partners than 5heir Nigerian sisters unless ENLIGHTENED, EXPOSED Nigerian men. We see even the types our men and ladies bring and show on social media: our women are getting good enough foreigners including whites while our men are managing to get by with the left overs there.... Everything boils down to what the person or lady wants / choice ( not meaning racist). Nigerian women have LONG attracted the foreign men and some of these women are our mother's ages, granny's ages not to talk of present younger, more learned and exposed ladies. I know of a Nigerian lady who was into Medicine or Nursing and the way one fine, white guy ( academician in another institution) was dying for her it was something else. There is even one of our ladies that married a white South African and both have 5 beautiful kids I can't list others. I don't know where this talk and culture that we are least desirable compared to our men who have worse reputation( lol)..... It is well..... To every mallam his kettle..... Just go for what you want Naija ladies with faith same with men who would not need to put us down first before trying. |
Octopusssy:I tire oooo He/ Nigerian men over relish any talk about sex and have excess energy for it but tell them to get to work to improve their family's life, they start looking for those they say are weaker vessels that have FULFILLED their own part to implement 50:50 income bringing formula. The time they realize what they can achieve by being more focused, Nigeria will be a safer and better place for their women, children and also them. |
Stormtrooper11:Dija: Sierra Leone an dad and Kaduna( Nigerian) mum |
MadarasBlade:I no go marry man like u naw na by force?Men are in stages, life is in phases.... How my decision take affect u? Go WORK first, then we can have discussions..... What I wrote ONLY real men understand it and won't argue..... Abi what else do u want to use your body for unlike women? EDit: Men are in sizes and life is in stages......Try size up |
MadarasBlade:Your ONLY main role as a man is to LOOK FOR MONEY NOT carry pregnancy or push out babies apart from breastfeeding/ cooking/ doing homework ALL at once as a woman..... If you FAIL in this one role, you have indeed failed and I won't mince my words.... This brings out your manliness: just do it legally and prayerfully.... Na ONLY one main task u get naw Men/ society aren't easy on women so why should u have it easy as an ABLE BODIED man, unless u are lazy. Try to READ and comprehend then work on yourself instead of attacking because no woman will be able to live with u even if she EARNS more than you ... Just advice though. |
MadarasBlade:I will marry REASONABLE men like my dad who wouldn't take women/ me for granted. |
Even without government putting caveat emptor, how do people hope to live in houses they built within close perimeter to the airport with all the NOISE that comes with landing and take off? I don't know how inhabitants there adjust to sounds that appear like plane can..... at anytime for ontop their heads/ roofs... Na WA oooo ... With the way things are to buy land in Lagos henceforth comes with extreme care, if not people may start moving to neighboring states which will further boost their IGR and tax payers may be more respected before, during and after elections or they invest in their states. |
