Are you requesting a reprint or it's a first time request? This is a reprint. A student went to the admin office to make enquiry but was told there is nothing they can do.

O yes, I am a Ladokite. The platform has been down for weeks now and all my efforts to get my transcript has been abortive. I just hope someone will be able to give an hint on how to go about it.

Sharonyeah:
LAUTECH transcript portal is different from the undergraduate portal.

https://transcript.lautech.edu.ng/odl/index.php

Good luck

Thank you so much for the response, the website is for distance learning. (ODL)

Please any other person with a good information on way forward will be highly appreciated.

Good morning everyone, please I have been trying to get my transcript from Lautech for about 3 weeks now but the undergraduate portal has been down. I don't know if anyone is experiencing the same thing and whats the way forward please?

Urgent response on what to do will be appreciated because I already have conditional offer letter for almost a month and school is sending reminders on sending the official transcript.

@Lagbaja, its on the sinp website why not check. You declared you have family when you dont have thereby denying another person letter of invitation. Why do people do this nonsense.

you are very sick and stupid. And if you are frustrated, then go and sort yourself out.

If you don't have any positive response you should have kept your mouth shut.

Hello everyone, I am new here but I received letter of invite to Saskatchewan and I have just 60 days to submit.

Now, the question is can I use a very close friend as close relative or we must be blood related.

2. How do I establish such relationships, what documents do I need to present?

Thank you for the quick response.

@Just Mellow, thanks for the response. My challenge is I have been trying to get another admission but not been able to because most schools are not taking 2.2 for Mechanical Engineering in the university. I also tried plenty colleges but still no head way.

I need advise on which schools to check out for PGD in Mechanical Engineering/related courses and how best to tackle the issue while re-applying.

The reason for denial in the gcms note is:

Applicant seeks to study electro-mechanical engineering technology diploma program at Centennial College. Applicant has been employed as a mechanical engineer for 8 years. Applicant already has a degree in mechanical engineering. - Applicant's plan of studies does not appear reasonable given applicant's employment and education history - Information provided do not demonstrate a logical progression or a clear career path - I am not satisfied that the proposed studies are reasonable in light of applicant's qualifications, previous studies, employment history, level of establishment, future prospects and plans and considering the magnitude of investment - I am not satisfied that applicant's purpose of visit/motivation for entry into Canada is educational advancement

Thanks everyone.

Good morning Guys, please courses with 'Ontario College Graduate Certificate' , is it a good one for student who graduated with 2:2. please help.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Sharonyeah: 10:14pm On Jan 24, 2021
You won't see a university accepting 2.2 for Mechanical Engineering for Masters. 2.1 is the minimum requirement.

Someone made a Comment some few pages back about PG. Cert in Mechanical Engineering related courses, I think you should check it out , it's in the link below

Also, I will appreciate any hint on a University where I can study PG Cert in Mechanical Eng or Energy.

Is it true only someone in Canada help to order my GCMS notes?

Can someone please highlight the steps to go about this.

Thanks everyone.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Sharonyeah: 12:14pm On Jan 21, 2021
So sorry about your Refusal Sharon,

Why you await response from the guru/gurus

Purpose of Visit means the visa officer is not convinced that you will leave Canada after your degree program, there are lots of reasons to this, one of them is wrong career/academic progression.

@ Lekiboboe: Thanks so much for the prompt response. I totally agree with you on getting GCMS notes which I will order for immediately.

I actually think it is more of Career Progression because the VO stated that based on level of qualification, establishment and so am not sure you will leave Canada and what I applied for initially was Ordinary Diploma even though I am graduate of Mechanical Eng.

It will end in praise.
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Sharonyeah: 10:38am On Jan 21, 2021
@Frankrobbn1, my Visa has just been denied based on purpose of visit.

I am planning to reapply and I need your help. I will be so glad if you can assist.

The only reason given for denial is on the purpose of visit based on my level of establishment and co.

I am planning to seek admission in another school for graduate certificate.

The initial admission was in Centennial for ordinary Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.

Looking forward to your response.

@Just Mello

Hope you're making the right choice or have a clear reason (for the VO) for choosing an AD. Try flywire or get a trusted person in Canada to help out.

My brother, yes. I already made the initial payment deposit of 2650 CAD before realising that it may not be the best decision.

I however did my best to give strong points in my SOP. The only thing I did was to quickly asked for a change of course to a related course and explained why I needed that for my career progression which I was granted.

I am trusting God for the best.

Hello, please can someone help me out
I applied to Centennial college for Global business Management, May 2021. I got a mail back that I had to pay a deposit before I could get an acceptance letter.
After going through the tuition fees breakdown the school sent to me, I realized that there are cheaper courses I could take in the same school.
I wanted to ask if it’d be wise to send a mail to Centennial College that I would like to change my course.

Yes, you can go ahead and ask for a change of course but please give them good reason for requesting for a change. I did the same.

Also, yes. I paid initial deposit of 2650cad before my acceptance letter was given.

Good morning everyone, please I will like to know if it is necessary to inform the doctor that I have BP issue even though I am on drugs and when I use my drugs, the BP will be so regulated that the doctor may not know about it.

I am just thinking if I should disclose it or not.

An urgent answer will be appreciated.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Sharon,

Google VFS Global Nigeria to sign up, login and book an appointment for BIOMETRICS in either Lagos or Abuja VAC office)

So after you are through with that and you got an Appointment letter, then go for your Biometrics on the Date stated in the Appointment Letter

What to go along with to VFS Office (Lagos or Abuja VAC Offices) for BIOMETRICS

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS @lekkiboboe, I just saw your victory post.

Thank God, Canada will favour you and your family.

Did you apply alone?

When do you think is okay for your spouse and son to apply and join you?

Thank you all for your wonderful responses.

@Lekiboboe, I really appreciate the extensive explanation given, I am grateful.

I will use the suggestions given and trust God to help me.

Lastly, It just occurred to me that I have HND/HNC in UK as well before getting my BSC degree, does it make sense to keep quiet on the BSC and use my HND as my highest qualification while I put up a strong point why Advanced Diploma course?

The only concern in doing that is "what if they eventually find out since Canada and UK share a lot of information?" Moreso, I remember I have done my ECA while thinking of going through express entry.

I am just at my low end right now. I am confused.
