Yes it can be harvested but from experience it rarely ends well. There's a very high probability you'll be cheated. So many bad people out there looking to shortchange and exploit you.

Pls don't resign just yet. Practical Agriculture can be very dicey especially if you're just starting. It's my discipline as well and that's all I've been doing since after my grad in 2011 but trust me, it takes time.
kilisi:
Good day friends and trust we are coping with the current state of things

I plan to resign from my current job by the end of February 2024 so that I can go into full time agriculture. That's my discipline from school anyway.

I've been able to raise just 1 million naira within a year and 2 months and the plan is to plant cassava and maize on a 12 acre farmland I'm about to secure.

6k per acre of land

I also plan to use about an acre for planting pepper and tomatoes.

I hope I'm not making a hasty decision by resigning from my job soon.

Don't you worry yourself much. These ignorant, semi-illiterates forming well read people don't know the CBN is an independent institution on it own. See him talking about CBN being under the presidency.

Who is taking about Accountant here? It’s obvious you don’t even know the meaning of Accounting Officers in regards to Federal MDAs.

Go and learn about how the federal public service is structured and administered before talking and criticizing what you don’t understand. The ignorance you’re oozing is embarrassing.

Not so true. My self as a case study, we have been sleeping on separate beds in the same house and it would be 8years of togetherness in January. Everything isn't as it seems. Sleeping habits differs and may be a factor, which doesn't mean they'll love each other any less. Like for me, I tend to roll about in bed when asleep from one side to another. So for me not to constantly break her bone week in week out, it's logical we share a different bed grin cheesy cheesy cheesy.

Health / World's First Pig-to-human Heart Transplant Patient Dies by Shawlambivert(m): 1:52am On Mar 10, 2022
The world's first person receiving a heart transplant from a genetically-modified pig two months ago has died, the U.S. Maryland hospital that performed the surgery announced Wednesday.

David Bennett, the 57-year-old American patient, died Tuesday at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC). Doctors did not give an exact cause of death, saying his condition had begun deteriorating several days earlier.

After it became clear that he would not recover, Bennett was given compassionate palliative care. He was able to communicate with his family during his final hours, said the UMMC in a release.

Bennett received the first-of-its-kind transplant on Jan. 7, and lived for two months following the surgery. He had been deemed ineligible for a conventional heart transplant, and the surgery was the only currently available option for him, according to the UMMC.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted emergency authorization for the surgery on New Year's Eve through its expanded access (compassionate use) provision.

After the surgery, the transplanted heart performed very well for several weeks without any signs of rejection, according to the UMMC.

Bennett was able to spend time with his family and participate in physical therapy to help regain strength. He watched the Super Bowl with his physical therapist and spoke often about wanting to get home to his dog Lucky, according to the hospital.

Bartley Griffith, who performed the groundbreaking transplant, said Bennett proved to be a brave and noble patient who fought all the way to the end.

"As with any first-in-the-world transplant surgery, this one led to valuable insights that will hopefully inform transplant surgeons to improve outcomes and potentially provide lifesaving benefits to future patients," Griffith said.

"We have gained invaluable insights learning that the genetically modified pig heart can function well within the human body while the immune system is adequately suppressed," said Muhammad Mohiuddin, professor of surgery and scientific director of the Cardiac Xenotransplantation Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

"We remain optimistic and plan on continuing our work in future clinical trials," he said.

About 110,000 Americans are currently waiting for an organ transplant, and more than 6,000 patients die each year before getting one, according to U.S. government data.

Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Doesn't Know I Have Mental Issues by Shawlambivert(m): 8:51am On Nov 08, 2021
Dear brother, it's totally up to you. Whatever you think matters most. You know her better. You know the level at which you guys are. I have a dude (area younger brother sort of) with the same condition. As a result of weed too. In fact, the babe was in service when it all began but her mum stood in. Supported financially sef. Ladies will definitely see it differently. The one that truly loves you will understand in as much as you don't have the crisis recurring. My guy sleeps and eat a lot now. A lot of folic acid. I believe over time, there won't be need for the drugs again
Dude397:
Good evening everyone. To cut the long story short my mental health issues started in 2012 when I tried weed in the university. It's not genetic. I've also been in and out of psychiatric hospitals a good number of times. However I'm currently on medication and I've been able to manage the condition. I was also able to graduate and I've also done my nysc and my family is planning on opening a small business for me since job has not been forthcoming.

However my health condition has been kept secret by me and family and I'm currently dating a nice girl. Please should I tell her my secret. What caused most of my episodes was refusal to take my medication and all that but right now I'm very okay and for some few years now I've been going about my daily affairs without any issue. If I let the cat out of the bag I don't think she may stay cos the stigma of mental health issues is not a joke. Please I need your advice on how to handle this delicate issue. Thanks

Nice comment but I don't see how that could be termed as INCEST.
LMS1:
Op It Depends On Your Tradition, Some May See It As A Taboo While Others May Not.
But Technically It Is Not Wrong To Marry Her Sister Since They Both Are Diffrent Body Entirely Except For The Fact That They Share Same DNA.
Tho Bear In Mind That If The First Died Due To Difference In Blood Group With The Man Then The Second Also Has A High Chance Of Following Same Path.
Gudluck And Happy Incest To Him. grin

And like he earlier said, they can be crazy. The white dude finding out after going totally broke can trigger that craziness in him, making him probably wanting to take a revenge on you (a fellow Nigerian that he knows). Save him please before we start hearing stories that'll touch.
VickyRotex:

The latest article I see on WNV regarding Nigeria is from 2018.

I can relate to being in such fix but at the end of the day I think it's just right to do the right thing.
See it this way, eventually he's going to find out right?

Which would you prefer; that he finds out now, hopefully able to deal with the pain that comes with scam and betrayal or that he finds out much later after selling all he has just to meet the demand (which is now even more than supply)?

If you're very concerned about you being involved and the uncertainty, maybe you involve a third party that you both know or someone you think can step in as a mock investigator that'll show some proofs and all to him while also observing from afar.
