SCHOOLDROPOUT: Maybe I shouldn't have used the word "counterfeit" cos it wasn't a counterfeit per se. Only unusual to those embassy guys. I guess the anomaly didn't sit well with them.
Having said that, try to reiterate to the insurance guys(preferably AIICO) that you don't want any form of unusuality and they should give to you what's being given to others in order to preclude red flags.
To confirm the authenticity, you may upload your health insurance certificate here for verification. Just ensure you obscure your details. Abeg, @schooldropout and other bosses that got AIICO insurance, is this the kind of certificate you got from AIICO. NB: The red ink is not real. Just tot it wise to hide some info using an app.

I indicated that my insurance date should start on August 19 coz school resumes Aug 22 and I hope to enter by Aug 21. So just put a date closer to wen u r gonna enter Finland or preferably, d date u r entering Finland. Olabode, sirkezman, Genexy and other bosses in d house can also comment on this. |

As @schooldropout and @genexy have stated earlier, just go and do AIICO. It'll take you just 30-45 mins @ d rate of 30,800. Did mine yesterday. jkels: Please with respect to the health insurance, want to know about MARSH-SIP(Students Insurance Policy). From migri website, its states that they recommend Marsh SIP. Does it mean that AIICO, Mutual Benefit and others are not really needed? And as we know most of the schools are listed on www.studyinfinland.fi
(culled from migri website FAQ) 15. Where can I get the health insurance that I am required to have before applying for a residence permit for studies? You can take out the insurance abroad from an insurance company in your home country or ask for a suitable insurance from an international insurance company. Finnish embassies and consulates and the Finnish police can provide further advice. If you will study in one of the educational institutions listed on www.studyinfinland.fi, we recommend that you take out the Marsh SIP insurance which has been pre-approved by the Finnish Immigration Service. If you are attending an institution not on the list, you can, for instance, look into the following insurance providers which offer international health insurances for students: – the French company Assurances Courtages et Services (ACS) (www.acs-ami.com) – AON Students Insurance, whose parent company is the US company AON Corpo-ration (www.students-insurance.eu) – the US company International Student Insurance (www.internationalstudentinsurance.com) – the Swiss insurance company Swisscare – ESI Finland plan (www.swisscare-student.com). Each insurance and its terms and conditions are assessed individually when the residence permit application is examined. The insurance policy must at least include: – personal data – validity of insurance – geographical area in which the insurance is valid – insurance coverage – amounts of benefit – possibility to continue the insurance if it is valid for less than a year. |

yoyolagos: Nobody have issue with any of the estonian embassies jare! The main problem here is how to get visa to the country. For example! The Estonian embassy in Turkey, how do u get turkish visa here in Nigeria! @yoyolagos and co. India is the easiest route. When you apply for India visa and you inform the officer that you've been admitted to a school in Estonia and you need to go through India to obtain visa to Estonia, the India officer will contact the Estonian Embassy to verify your claims and if true, will issue you a short-term visa to India. From India, you can now obtain visa to Estonia and get ur RP done in Estonia. That's all. @simonns. From what my brother who is presently in Estonia told me, Estonia is full of Russians who don't really like blacks and wen dey get drunk, they behave nasty towards Blacks. But d racism issue is not really on the high side there. At least, it's much better than Ukraine or Russia. |

iceberg54: Migri will ask you to clarify the source of the deposits into your dad's account. So to avoid complications, you might wanna consider using your church member. But then be sure that the person will be willing to provide any document required. And just like boss Olabode89 stated, the sponsor's letter is very important and must be well detailed.
All the best sir! Noted. Actually, it's my elder brother who is in Estonia that I wanted to use as sponsor but he said the funds won't be ready till July ending and I feel that'll be kinda late coz school resumes in August and the RP process takes 1month+. That's y I'm seeking other mediums. I trust God that it'll all work out well. Thanks boss. |

olabode89: Hmmm... that's a difficult question for me, as i don't have an experience regarding money lodgement from the the Sponsors perspective.
My Advice..... You can use a church member/pastor who is ready to provide proof relating to source of income but the sponsor will need to write a cute letter saying that he is your guardian or uncle/aunt (we don't bear same surname as all of our uncles/aunts) and has been sponsoring your education since high school. The letter should also show the sponsor's commitment to support you financially whenever needed. Thanks Olabode. I think I'll just go with the church member/pastor option as sponsor to avoid complications. |

olabode89: Salary earner sponsor Employment letter (and letter of promotion if available) copies of payslips bank account statements
Business owner sponsor incorporation documents balance sheet and Income statement of the business bank account statements
lastly, If your sponsor or you, the applicant have rental income you can also include; property documents agreements with tenant(s) receipt of rental income payment .......it is more convincing if rental amount on agreement agrees to what is on the receipt and cal also be traced to the bank statement I hope to get the €6,720 soon but I'm not working presently and I intend using my dad who is a salary worker and earns over 100k monthly as sponsor and depositing the money into the sponsor's account using his name before transferring it into my account. Please in what proportion can I deposit the money? Can I deposit it into his account with his name at once or should I just split it into smaller proportions, lets say 150,000 daily. I also want to know if the Migri peeps wud ask how the large deposits in my dad's account came about. Also, I want to know how feasible it is for me to use one who is not a family member(e.g church pastor or member) as sponsor. Thanks |

Due to this, I'll accept the TUT offer since it's the same course(IT) UEF offered me that I'll be studying in TUT. You might also want to send an email to the depart/admission office/whoever you were in correspondence with concerning your last year admision deferment. Big boss, please I would like to ask some few questions about the RP processing 1. I would like to know if my sponsor must be staying in Nigeria, considering the fact that I want to use my elder brother who presently resides in Estonia as sponsor. 2. I would like to know the total number of months that the Finnish embassy will demand for statement of account(6months or a year). 3. I would also like to know if having 1.5million in my account is enough considering the exchange rate fluctuation in Nigeria presently. Thanks, in anticipation of your response. |
