Akin26: Br please do we use thesame charger plug with Casablanca? Get an international adapter. It's #1000 at Computer Village, Ikeja. With it, you can use any socket in Casablanca and the US. |

I really do wonder why some people magnify POE experience like it's another visa interview. As long as you're a genuine student and not planning to run way, you have nothing to fear. I got to JFK yesterday. Joined the queue. I was so stressed out considering the heavy load I carried and the lesser layover time we had at Casablanca which was as a result of a 2hr delay in departure from Lagos. The queue was also very long and the CBPs were quite slow. CBP: Is this your first time here? Me: Yes CBP: How long do you intend to stay here? Me: 2yrs CBP: Why do you intend to stay that long? Me: "I was so tired that I just said rubbish". I'm going to study Masters programme which is for 2yrs. (who studies masters prog ) CBP: can I have your sevis? Me: I thought he was referring to my sevis payment receipt. Gave it to him. CBP: No. Your sevis? Me: Now, I knew he was referring to my i20. Passed it to him. He checked it and asked me to place my fingers for scanning and that was all. My passport was stamped. Wasn't up to a minute or two sef. Also, the officers checking luggages simply asked me what I had in my box and i told them. I had already declared the important things like Egusi, Crayfish, Garri etc on the form. My luggages were not checked. I just walked outa there like it wasn't a big deal. Also, I made use of the NYCAirporter (all thanks to Lagosismyhome's info) from JFK to Laguardia airport and it was hassle free and very comfortable. I made the payment in Naija before leaving($16). By the way, I'm heading to Ohio and I came in through JFK which isn't a big deal. I wonder why people just create unnecessary panic about such instances. One more thing, if you are going with Royal Air Maroc, you're now allowed to carry your laptops with you in your carry on bags. Don't bother putting it in your checked in baggages. Also, Royal Air Maroc service was okay. The food wasn't top notch though but it was still good. |

segunojo866: This is my last post until July 04. All applicants will be approved this coming July in Jesus name. No time again to post here but I promise to post my testimony soon. Bye for now Must you always derail this thread. If you're this nervous when you've not gone for your interview, I wonder how nervous and disordered you'll be when you go for your interview and you see blue papers flying in the air, even before you approach the VO. I just hope you won't create a scene at the embassy. May July 4 bring good tidings for you bro. |

We simply had our conversation on WhatsApp and not a WhatsApp group. The idea of a WhatsApp group undermines the purpose/effect of this page. All the information you (as well as anyone else) need(s) is on this thread. Hopefully, someday, people will cherish the wealth of information on this thread. Regards. |

Searching Wakanow like a Browser Its endless bro... @bolded. I can presently relate with them. In addition, once PHCN interrupts the light, I'll just smile and say to myself "It's just a matter of days. All these shenanigans go end " By the way, it seems the days are not so fast as before again. I keep on counting down every blessed day. |

dazzy2: Hello guys my school sent my i20 to me without notifying me I have been waiting for it since I was accepted, I actually think it's my fault because I didn't include any Po box while filling my address Cos my house no get Po box. So I requested for anoda one, So they mailed it to my uncle staying in Us. I want to know the easiest means for him to send it to me he said Dhl is too expensive, Guys pls help Tell him to use USPS express which can be tracked. It ranges from $45-$63 and it gets delivered within 3-5 biz days. Also, if you don't have a working address, use a post office address with your name and phone number provided by your uncle at USPS as the receiver and NG post office will call you when it arrives or use a working home or work address. I made use of Unilag Post office address when I was getting mine and I was called when it arrived. |
