It is well. I understand how difficult it is for them to gather achievements but there are theoretical and proposal achievements that they have. I keep hope alive for Nigeria |
Very informative. Thanks OP |
Love is not enough. Your religious differences will at a point bring discord but here are some things to consider. Where you are going determines first if you should go on with her. Someone gave an example of business tycoons and politicians who did inter-religious marriage and it is, according to observation deduced from perception mgt, working. 2. Consider your family life and see if you can manage the differences that abounds from parental to personal philosophies, which may come with religious colorations. Love is truly without boundaries but emotions are. From your writeup you have built emotional walls thinking it is love. Ask yourself this question: if all i like about her now goes away would i still have these feelings for her? P.S: Emotions and feelings are not love; they may indicate it but they are not. |

oknee:Alright! Thanks |
Hello People! Please help me with comments on this travel issue. I want to inquire about the services of Rwanda or Kenya Airline moving from Lagos to Dubai; also help with your experiences using them. Thanks |
Ooni:Its always good to understand that prophets are spiritual territorial commanders. So these men you mentioned are commanders of an international community; as such will be prophets on transit in the state. Osun has its share of prophets who are predominantly in charge of that territory: e.g The late Baba Obadare. My question is like that of Jesus Christ to the Jews; you had (have) your prophets what did you do with their message. And if you think this men need to come to Osun before people give their lives to Christ then, with all the respect i can mutter, it means you dont know what your task as a christian. You are a prophet as well. 'you are ordained kings and priests' |
I see Nigerians as our own enemies. Imagine a student waits till exam period before paying fees (not even paying; but protesting the compulsion of it). 45k and you have 12wks before exams to source for it. The truth is those who sincerely dont have may not join the protest it is the ones that have cornered theirs that will protest. Even if its true all the students protesting cant afford it why not channel your protest energy into something useful that can help the situation. We lack planning and foresight and value misplaced priorities: some of the students may be using a phone worth 50k which they bought when they could have used to pay their fees; yet will protest that they dont have money to pay fees. I blame the school for having such a relaxed payment system where a student could complete a session without paying fees (even western societies, that have quality, dont try it: they have a deadline for fee payments). For hiring policemen also they are to blame (but cultist activities prevalent in the area may have informed the decision) The police should be brought to book for firing shots at students. In BUK (Bayero Uni Kano: a federal school), you have deadline to registration; receiving lectures without registering is a waste of time cos school doesn't recognise you. |
Hello Nairalanders. I will be using the train for the first time: to travel from Lagos to Kano. As a way of preparing for my journey, I have read about train travels, watched a video experience of a Nairalander posted on Youtube; yet not totally satisfied. My aim for creating this topic is to get contributions from you all about: the coaches and the things to take along and probably to advice on which coach is best and comfortable; and also affords a networking opportunity. N.B: I plan on going in the sleeper coach because of the comfort but i am thinking 1st class seater will also be nice. What do you think? I will appreciate your responses. Thank you all Shegsdayo Mods can help push this to the right platform if this isn't the page i should have it. |
He is attending an art gallery dinner, prolly the only African there and he came up with this. The pple there appreciate his expression but we who own the culture castigate him. This is how we have thrown away our identity. Nawa o we need a rethink, Nigerians. Carry on brother |
CivilzedTyger:There is, but not strong in the hostels except you stay on the top floors. Mass Comm Department now faculty of comm studies also offers wifi. CIT garden and some strategic places too |
I really don't know why its the female gender that mostly complains this. ITS THE DOCTOR'S JOB!!! Was in a clinic session and being checked by a beautiful single consultant (who is prolly my age going by looks) and she asked me to take off my cloths I was left with my under wears and when she began checking she was touching me and I didn't call it molest cos she was doing her job. I was uncomfortable at some point but it was for my good and she apologised when she realised I became uncomfortable with the touching but told. me its necessary for her to do so. Its their line of duty ladies not molestation. let them go overboard before you start concluding. Keep your minds clean |
promisechuks:Thanks for your contribution Beloved |
Hello Friends. I am curious, what is the punishment or consequence for disobedience to the instructions of God given particularly for a minister of God. And maybe the same minister now falls into sin because he did not follow instructions. Your comments and answers are welcome and highly appreciated. |

Thank God for the survivors if not the statement would have been different |
Scientists in an undercover laboratory in Vancouver have been spending years researching, not for the cure of any of the dreaded diseases, but, for something weird. They succeeded in this jaw-dropping way to cross humans with dogs, just to cater for a market of very rich people who like collecting unique pets. “There is only so much you can buy a person who has it all. This is better than buying your loved one a iphone 6!” reports Dr. Paul Bradshaw, 54, from the Hartman Collinge Institute. “they’re obviously very intelligent and their vocal cords are functional. This means, not only can they keep you company like a dog can, they can read you bed time stories and answer the iPhone for you,” added Dr Bradshaw, while explaining some of the advantages having Human/Dog hybrids. One of these hybrids cost 50million dollars Source: http://www.heraldlog.com/weird-human-hybrids-being-sold-now-to-the-super-rich/

People are saying he's not had a hit song in a long while. There is more to getting endorsements than a celebrity/musicians drop of hits; the business angle and their individual brand names matter. This guy is a brand name on his own and his dexterity in business coupled with his relevance across all sectors makes him a better option for multiple endorsements than other artistes |
Reading the comments of those of you castigating the backlash against the Adeola lady and some comparism with Amanpour and Western Media. Please the truth be told, western media ask sarcastic questions in a polite way that shows that the intention is not to spite the interviewee, unlike what i saw sahara TV or Adeola do. Please understand that ethics abound in all profession but there is a general ethic of being polite and respectable in your approach to work. Thanks |
Nice Write-up |
This is so true. Your perspective is all that matters; plans after school also will define the importance of your GPA. Nice writeup |
I recently read this story and the comments that followed were amusingly debasing and they show the intellect of majority of us and the blindness we possess. Mrs. Aisha Buhari is an exotic dresser just like every female Northerner while Mrs. Osinbajo on the other hand, check any of her pictures, is a VERY SIMPLE dresser. If not that you don't expect the wife of the man who pastors one of richest branches of RCCG in a rich district who also is a Rich man to dress that way except it is a part of her person. #myopinion |
hotice01:And thats another huge problem that easily besets us as a nation. Rulership instead of Leadership; I hope the trend really changes now as they have been chanting. |
hotice01:Same here. And kudos to @reference for pointing out the facts. Promises and propaganda is a politicking tool and its a Pity we always swallow them hook, line and sinker. Still, I know this man is experienced enough to stabilise the country if he does not mingle politics with governance along the way, one factor that led to the downfall of GEJ admin. Promises and propaganda |
ShegsDayo:General I trust and believe you. And I appreciate your courage and words of wisdom to show to Nigerians that if for a year it wasnt possible to find them, it might never be an easy task finding them. God bless GEJ God Bless GMB God Bless the Armed Forces |
Baba, Even though every member of my house supported you and I was the black sheep, not because I'm partisan but because I saw the promises and I knew they were too exaggerated to be easily achievable; yet your integrity made People believe you. Baba, less than 3weeks after announcing you have started 'changing mouth'. Truth be told, I know you don't have every information now on the girls whereabout but when you resume office you would. I like the fact that you are quickly making Nigerians know you are not a magician, Truthfulness. Well, Baba, try your best not to raise the hopes of the Nigerian masses and uphold your integrity that you have always been known for. God Bless Nigeria God bless you all |
If not that Lagos was once the capital of Nigeria, It would have been a local minor state like every other state in this country!!! for starters, why on earth should that useless oba threaten igbos in Lagos??[/quote]Yorubas don't discriminate against igbos. It is also good that you know that Lagos has always been a commercial hub before the whites came, making it a capital city only gave it undue attention which indigenes from other state still give it. Please, I'm not being critical of your comment, the Oba's statement wasn't the right but i think calling an elder 'useless' speaks volume of your respect trait. #I rep Yorubas, no discrimination, not judgemental |
ShakurM:ok. Now i understand bro. He has an appetie to continue relevance in social and political circles by every means possible |
ShakurM:Man, according to Aristotle, is a political animal. So, forgive my curiosity what exactly is your point. N.B: I am not sympathetic to any party nor politician. |
The wind of change is blowing hard on the Umbrella; the umbrella is threatened to rip apart as it cant stand the wind of Change. I am not partisan but I have never seen PDP and defectors this threatened to just throw their all against APC. |
I like to think we all are all educated. Away from political commenting; i believe Oshiomole has done wonderfully well in Edo state. Its their duty but when you see those workng for the good of the people appreciate them. That pastor no see the kind food wey dem dey chop for Abuja na im make am change logo. Thiefs everywhere ...propagandists in Nigeria are off the hook. |
I have had cause to read a lot of comment but the truth be told- Gov. Fashola may be overrated but if you happen to live in lagos you suburbs you will appreciate whatever Lagos stands for now. Lagos state is peculiar with little or resources yet with an overwhelming population. The only resource is money generated from tax and there are too many things to be done and; take it or leave it: no matter the amount of money generated you can never finish the work of Lagos in 8 years you can only try nd that's what Fashola has done. Also note, Lagos have enjoyed continuity in government since Tinubu and we hope that wherever Fashola leaves it off, His predecessor will take over from there. Lagos is not Dubai. Dubai has crude and Lagos has nothing, Dubai has a population that is less than their resource.... Men this article is harshly written without considering the Force of the environment. |
