In fact what actually happened was that one of the youths broke a block on this young man's head. He fell down and tried getting up but fell down again. I was driving to Nsukka that very day and could not believe what I saw. I could not stop to help this young man because it happened in the full glare of the natives and bystanders who seemed to give an implicit approval to the attackers action. I only stopped briefly to yell at them for what they just did to the young.man who was already on the ground! So sad that such a retrogressive culture is still being practised in Nsukka a town that hosts a premier university with all it attendant benefits.
