Wotz ur biz if dey r fooling us n we decided to b fooled? U n a hand full of odas who refuses to b fooled shd leave us alone. Ologbon do ori eja mu. Gboro wi di eleru. Baba ile okan. I sorry for u n ur type. tolulakin: As mouth-watering as the TY Bello/Jumoke Bread Seller, Photobombing story sounds, there are lots of common sense facts that point to the fact that TY Bello is just pulling a fast one on us.
I have always had one understanding of our world and especially our nation. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. I will bring up three or four facts that make me really convinced that this bread seller story is not only a publicity stunt, but it is as well a major fool-the-public drama that TY Bello just used to get into all our heads!
1. Will a bread seller look so good? in the selfie she took with TY Bello, olajumoke was looking so cute that one would begin to wonder if she had been doing facial treatments all her life. But then, what do I know?
2. All of a sudden, she became a MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER! How foolish can we be? Just all of a sudden, a programme was to be held in Abuja and olajumoke was invited as the MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER....yes, SPEAKER! The topic was 'If we were the government'... So I asked myself, was she so educated before or did she become a motivational speaker just by virtue of being lucky or someone is just playing a simply stupid fast one on us?
3. Anybody who saw the picture where she allegedly photobombed the Tinie Tempah shoot will probably believe with me that she was a little bit overdressed to be a bread seller. She looked so good I began wondering, did she really photobomb this shoot or was she made up before the shoot?
4. So I heard Sujimoto gave her a house, STANBIC gave her an endorsement deal etc.... For what did a young lady who just got lucky deserve all these publicity and attention? For being lucky? Or for being a recipient of a TY Bello miracle? I guess we should expect an endorsement deal for the young man E-Money just gave a car and cash to if that is the way to deal!
You can call me as many names as you want for my non-conformist ideas....truth is, it will not change my belief that all these PR moves by TY Bello involving Olajumoke are ways of fooling our collective reasoning. I am certain even Basketmouth shares my views....maybe that explains his recent jokes about Olajumoke....he just wanted to tell us we are all being fooled in his usually funny way!
Y'all can keep getting fooled, Olajumoke will not become a prayer point for me for even a minute! |

Politics › Re: Things Even The Igbos Dont Know About Biafra by sherbol: 4:00pm On Dec 08, 2015 |
bias judgement of biafra. jaylister: Almost fifty years after the war that nearly broke up Nigeria, Biafra is rising again out of the dust and it is bringing to life some dead and forgotten truths and facts about the war. Some theories of secession emphasize a general right of secession for any reason (“Choice Theory”) while others emphasize that secession should be considered only to rectify grave injustices (“Just Cause Theory”). It is therefore on the basis of one or both of these theories that some nations decided to break out from being under one rule. Pakistan and Bangladesh broke out of India, Sudan separated into South Sudan and Sudan, and the Kingdom of Malaya too had its own issues leading to the division of the country into different countries called Singapore and Malaysia. Having fought and lost the first time, Biafra is citing grave injustice as its major reason for resurrecting its agenda of breakout and preparing to fight for succession.
Who are Biafrans? When you talk about Biafrans you are referring to the inhabitants of the South-East Nigeria who were mostly the Igbos. The group pursued their desire for secession due to economic, ethnic, cultural and religious tensions among the various people of Nigeria. Biafra as a territory existed long before the amalgamation and independence of Nigeria as a republic but it will be said that the group fully came to lime light in May 30 1967 when it publicly declared her secession from the binding forces of the federal Republic of Nigeria. The Biafran nation had a total number of 25 provinces covering the following Nigerian States: Abia, Anambara, Delta, Ebonyi, Imo, Bayelsa, Rivers, Cross River with Enugu state serving as its capital.
Little is known about the literal meaning of the word Biafra. But it is widely believed that the word Biafra is likely derived from the subgroup Biafar or Biafada of the Tenda ethnic group who reside primarily in Guinea-Bissau. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu who was then the military governor of the Eastern Region and also seen by the Igbo People as “the man in power”, was mandated by the consultative Assembly of the Biafrans, to declare the Eastern Nigeria a free sovereign and independent state by the name and tittle “the Republic of Biafra”. As a nation that is ready for independence, the new group had its flag whose colors are Red, Black and Green. The color combination is sometimes called Panafrican colors. Red stands for the enthusiasm and sacrifice-willingness of the people and for the struggle for independence and giving blood, black stands for the people and its endurance, and green for the fruitfulness of the land. It also has a currency of its own called the Biafran Pounds and Shilling, a National Anthem and Pledge.
The Biafran War: A Brief Description
The Biafran war which convulsed the country for a period of 30 months was a collective tragedy that brought the Nigerian Nation on the brink of disintegration and also left in a trail of reckless destruction of millions of lives and property in Nigeria. As earlier stated, the war; sparked off as a result of economic, ethnic, cultural and religious crises mainly between Northern and Eastern Nigeria. In an attempt to seize power in January 15 1966, some group of military officers who were mainly
This coup, though poorly carried out, was seen as a plot against the Northern region and hence the urge for retaliation became eminent. By July 29, 1966, a counter coup led by Lieutenant Colonel Murtala Muhammed and several other Northern officers saw the deadly destruction of the Igbo people. It was gathered that not less than 30,000 Igbos were killed. People like Major-General J.T.U. Aguyi-Ironsi who was then the Head of State, Col. Francis Adekunle Fajuyi who was the Military Governor of the Western region and other military officers saw their end during the counter coup. Having recounted series of killings of her people by the Northerners, first in the 1945 and 1953 massacres at Jos and Kano respectively, the second in July 1966, Biafrans finally chose the part of independence from their mother country Nigeria. The federal government under the newly sworn in military leader Lieutenant Colonel (later General) Yakubu ‘Jack’ Gowon chose not to give room for secession of any group because it may stir up other groups to fight for independence hence leading to the total destruction of the nation’s unity, and so came the war which started from the 6th of July 1967 and lasted until 15th January 1970.
The Biafran War: Lesser known Facts
The following is the list of Lesser known facts about Biafra and the Biafran war.
· The Biafrans viewed Nigeria then under Military dictatorship as a neocolonial state under the “Iron grasp of its former Colonial master – Britain” · The summit of military leaders at Aburi, Ghana, in January 1967 which was aimed at resolving the disagreements and recommended the establishment of a base confederation of regions turned out to be a source of contention between the government of Nigeria and the Biafrans · In order to weaken the strength of the East and to keep to a unified Nigerian country, 12 states were created in May 27, 1967 · One of the immediate reasons for the first-coup was nationwide disillusionment with the corrupt and selfish politicians, as well as their inability to maintain law and order and guarantee the safety of lives and property. · During the course of the war, the Federal Government received military aide from Britain USA and partly from Israel while the Biafrans gained support from France and later Israel. Other equipment like the Red Devil and other war ships used by the Biafrans in the war were produced through the ingenuity of Biafran engineers and soldiers. · The Biafrans went through the 30 months war on hunger and starvation while the Nigerian soldiers enjoyed rapid promotion and pay increase throughout the war. · The capture of the provincial capital of Owerri, (one of the last Biafran strongholds) by the Nigerian forces and the disappearance of Ojukwu to Ivory Coast, led to the total surrender the Biafran Nation on January 11, 1970. · Several Nigerians took great steps in ensuring that the war was suspended. One of them is Wole Soyinka who visited the Eastern Region Military Governor Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in Enugu in August 1967 to try to avert war and as a result, he was put in solitary confinement for about two years. · The end of the war saw the death of 1-3 million civilians and over 50,000 casualties of military soldiers from both the Nigerian military and the Biafran warriors.

Politics › Re: Buhari, Sanusi, APC Should Stop Deceiving Nigerians- Barcanista by sherbol: 8:21pm On May 14, 2015 |
who u b sef? rem even if u make noise from now till eternity ur opinion will never count. leave d politicians alone n dont giv ursef hypertension. dese piliticians r best of d best friends weda u beliv or not. use ur time to attend to ur immediate family issues n pray for d country. barcanista: Since I was born, I have never witness the kind of hypocrisy, double standard and demonisation that is currently perpetrated by Muhammadu Buhari, the APC, Alhaji Sanusi, Osinbajo and their "good governance crusaders" against the person of President Goodluck Jonathan, Allison Madekwe, and other government officials.
Alhajis Buhari and Sanusi and APC have been going about using every platform to talk about a "missing $20b", cheered by their hypocritical followers that pride themselves as good governance crusaders. They have deliberately gone blind over the fraud of CBN under Sanusi as outlined by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria report in February 2014.
Sanusi Indicted And Removed For Fraud According to the report (see below) Sanusi was indicted for Gross Misconduct that bothers on fraud and financial recklessness among other offence. The FRCN subsequently advised Mr President to remove Lamido Sanusi from office for further investigation and probe after the explanation of Sanusi appeared more like a tale and outrightly illogical according to FRCN. The council indicates that the explanation provided by Sanusi is “a clear display of incompetence, nonchalance, fraud, wastefulness, and abuse of due process and deliberate efforts to misrepresent facts on the part of the leadership of the CBN.”
The council advised the President to exercise the powers conferred on him by Section 11(2)(f) of the CBN Act 2007 or invoke Section 11(2)(c) of the said Act “and cause the governor and the deputy governors to cease from holding office in the CBN.”
April 2014: VP-elect Yemi Osibanjo Filed Case To Stop Sanusi Probe Rather than Sanusi to prove his innocence in court, he filed a case in Federal High Court, Lagos to STOP FRCN and Other Security Agencies from investigating and prosecuting him through three Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, Dr. Kanyinsola Ajayi and Kola Awodien. http://www.theguardianmobile.com/readNewsItem1.php?nid=24587
13 May 2014: Lagos Judge Tshoho Grants Sanusi Prayers High Court Judge John Tshoho rather than uphold the constitutional powers of FRCN to investigate probe Sanusi, he granted the prayers of Lamido Sanusi and BARRED FRCN from further investigation or probing Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. In his own words... “Prejudice is very pronounced in the language of that document. The language of the briefing note (transmitted by the FRCN to the presidency) conveys a sense of the defendant desperately goading the presidency to deal with the plaintiff,” “The plaintiff submitting himself for investigation (by FRCN) is like the cockroach finding itself in the midst of fowls. Such a cockroach cannot be innocent,”. http://www.tv360nigeria.com/?p=11923
Despite the fact the President Jonathan commissioned PWC to audit NNPC books to ascertain the veracity or otherwise of Sanusi's claim, Buhari, APC, Sanusi and their online agents that parade themselves as good governance and anticorruption apostles have been crying blue murder but refused to comment on the FRCN report nor the APC's VP elect role in shielding Sanusi for probe.
April 26, 2015: Buhari's Display of Hypocrisy In his usual hypocrisy, General Buahri vowed to re-visit the $20b allegation but said NOTHING about the FRCN report. In his own word... “Imagine a situation where the former CBN governor who by God ‘s grace would later become the Emir of Kano raised an issue of missing billions of money, not in Naira but in Dollars, $20 billion. “What happened, instead of investigating to know whether it was true that the money was missing or not, they simply found a reason to remove him. So these are the issues we are talking about…" Contrary to the lies of Alhaji Buhari, Sanusi wasn't removed because he raised alarm, he was removed because he was indicted by FRCN. Jonathan also never kept mute, he commissioned PWC to audit the books. Buhari was also blind to talk about prosecuting Sanusi for the CBN fraud. Perhaps the Emir is as "incorruptible" as him(Buhari)
Lamido Sanusi and Stella Oduah The so-called APC and their praise-singers have never for once called for the revisiting of the FRCN report, oh because it doesn't favor them. Ironically, these people were quick to call for the ouster of Stella Oduah that was indicted for "lesser" offence but demonised Goodluck Jonathan for suspending Sanusi that has lots of indictment on his neck.
Conclusion Buhari, Sanusi and APC can continue in their hypocritical path of self-deception, but every attempt to twist history, intimidate or demonise Dr. Goodluck Ebelemi Azikiwe Jonathan shall be fully resisted. Since they see nothing wrong in the fraud of CBN under Sanusi of which they are beneficiaries, then they should see nothing wrong in whatever happens in NNPC or any Agency under Jonathan irrespective of whether or not any money is missing.
