kemzy036: Ibadan what kind of hotel do you booked, definitely you get what you paid for. You can not pay 5k per night and expect a 5 star provision not a 2 star arrangements. Even in Places like Abuja and Lagos if pay less than 15K for a room. There will not even be a decorated phone in your room. There are hotels/guest House in Abuja with no phone not even a shower in the bathroom, you carry you bucket. unless you can tell us how much you paid for a night. |

As a youth, I think we should learn to help ourselves through knowledge Sharing. If you have the means please pay for knowledge, seek knowledge and let us think critically. Most especially we need network (human network) . I am interested in ICT and I look forward to a mentor in this field. I have little or practically no knowledge in computer programming (though am willing to pay for it) but I don’t have the financial means (at least for now) hope some gurus can help out. In case, someone is willing to be my mentor please drop your contact. |

You sound very sensible and intelligent. I think you write well too. God bless. StOla: I have spoken for myself, but am I surprised that rather you speak for yourself too, you are rather angry that your fellow man can be so upright?
And Atiku with all the money he acquired as a civil servant and as a political officer, he could not buy the love of simple honest men who identify with Buhari over the typical corruptly wealthy public servant. He could not even buy the support of his own village who rejected him and his filthy lucre.
If you had championed the support for a new era candidates, I would have taken you as a serious human being, rather you are one of the jokers who wanted to impose on us a poster boy of all that is wrong with public service, siphoning of public funds and the use of public office to enrich friends.
Many like you kept on polluting the minds of the righteous, that a vote for anyone but an epitome of corruption that Atiku represents, was a vote to keep Buhari in power.
What you are suffering from is post election depression, acute denial, and agony of defeat after premature congratulations were already offered by you a day before the election, to the loser who could not even win his own village polling unit, and whose close political associates lost all the local governments in their states or only scored 2 votes in their own polling units.
I would never return to Egypt, despite the toil and disappointments in the wilderness that would lead to a better Nigeria. |
Career › Re: Masters Scholarship In The UK Vs N500k Monthly Job In Nigeria by Sheriff19: 2:54pm On Mar 17, 2019 |
God bless you bro. Honestly you have taken these words out of my mind. Nigeria is really in trouble not only because of our politicians but because of our mentality. I met a man in Australia sometimes last year, who told me he had an intention of establishing a small start-up(Nigeria ) in 2016 through his brother who happens to be in his final year (Nigeria University) during that period. He said after discussing his plan with his brother, he (his brother) advised him not to even think of coming to Nigeria not to talk of investing. That he is not willing to manage any business or set-up for him (despite the fact that the money was on ground that time.) he said all he wants was to leave the country as well. The man said he as almost finished his saves now and he said he felt he made a mistake by taking his brother advice. What we don't know is that most of these countries are on the alert for Nigerian in their embassy, for you to secure VISA (with that passport is very difficult) you will be hearing some furnish questions, imagine after submitting a letter of admission from a university abroad, the interviewer still ask you what you are going to do in the country and that you should also get a reference latter from someone staying in the country. Our passport is one of the weakest because everybody want to travel but the reality is that many will not have the opportunity to do so. OP, actually one of the best experience and education in life is to travel and which will make you to see things from different angles, you are more assured of a better life and working condition abroad than Nigeria. though, I have never been UK, but you will definitely have a better life over there. However, the British build the UK and no body we build this country for us. Just after you might have settled in UK try to also contribute your quota through professional practice or whatever means to assist the country (not only by sending the Pounds ), all of us can not leave the country you know. Offpoint1: Like I always said, Nigerian are their own problems until we realize that this nation will never move an inch of progress.
A potential individual [Nigerian] brought two options on the table, one of which is beneficial to Nigeria and other which is totally of no benefits to Nigeria and Nigerians... to my greatest surprise, all comments from Nigerians above and below is advising he leaves. They don't even know genius doctors will soon go extinct in Nigeria because they're leaving the shore almost everyday.
My question is How will Nigeria be great when Nigerians are advising all the already threatened brains to leave? Each time they leave the more useless and endanger Nigerian health sector becomes.
Sometimes is not what your country can do for you, it's what you can do for your country.
Your house is on fire, instead of us to seek for solutions on how to quench the fire, we ran to relax in our neighbors abode.
I know everyone deserves the best out of life, everyone wants the best out of life, but sometimes in life we have to make sacrifices which aren't convenient but are worth it.
Op, I know if you leave, your probabilities of coming back is zero to none. remember the lives you've saved so far with the little available resources to you. think of lives that will lost when you're not there to contribute... is it really worth it? If you have intentions of coming back, there's nothing wrong if you go for your masters outside the shore, but it'll be inhume if you don't return after witnessing what your people are going through.
like I always wrote on my facebook wall and whatsapp status... "If your ambition in life is to go to school, graduate, get a job, build a house, get a car, get a wife and bore kids... then you don't know your purpose of existence"
I know I'm offpoint, that's what everyone thinks of me... but I'm always on the right path, so please don't quote to insult me if your IQ is lower than my UBA account balance. if you care to know, it's N32.00 |
Politics › Re: US-EXIM Bank, AECOM Offer Support For $11.1bn Nigeria’s Coastal Rail Project by Sheriff19: 8:54am On Mar 09, 2019 |
Let move at our own pace, i think a Bullet Train for Nigeria now is not economically sustainable even the chinko Rail we currently building now are not yielding their running cost yet. Majority of Nigerians can not afford to travel by air, not to talk of bullet train, the fee is almost X2 or X3 of the air-fare. Or can you pay 30-35K naira from calabar to Lagos? This price is even small considering we don't even have a stable electricity, if the transportation company factor this into the fare the price will be like 50K one way unless we are asking for another subsidy from FG. If you can pay, how many Nigerians can pay that, how are we going to payback the loan. US want to add salt to our Injury, its an economic trap. Blue3k: Amaechi should hop this ASAP the coastal railline would be one of the more profitable routes in terms of passenger rail traffic. It will be good for interstate commerce. I trust the American work more than the Chinese any day. Besides this company seems to do good work. I do like their how their terms are transparent aswell. |

Bro, who no go no Know. SternProphet: Less than CAN$200k to Canada?. Get a job first and live small. Cheapest rent is $600 per month. You will heat your house, transport your self and pay bills. You will never, ever be rich living in Canada. In fact you probably won't be able to come home in the first 5 years. If you work in the oil industry in Calgary, you will want to buy a house because it's better than renting. Cheapest houses in just okay neighbourhoods $600,000.00 on 30 year mortgage. In fact, it's better to live there and do business in Nigeria which brings the question- why leave in the first place?. |

As long as the Ethnic and Tribal Rivalry continues among the SS,SE and SW there is no end to political slavery in the South. It is normal to see things from different perspective and have different views on issues however only unity and constructive dialogue can achieve desired result. You don't need to abuse or insult me because my view is different from yours, all i need is to convince you that my view or argument is Superior or you convince me that yours is better. Perhaps the best way is for everyone to go on their own and break it up as suggested by some quarters. The southern arrangement of Nigeria is not working. Yes agreed, but why? If you check the ratings very well you ll see that the highest rate is in Market Size, while the lowest is in Innovation (except from ICT ). Did this tell you something. Most Nigerians are not feeling the competitiveness or the economy Robustness of the country because we lack what it takes. to have our share of the economy, we need to be creative and innovative to solve problems that people are facing. (unfortunately Market size is 71 (good for the Chinese and few innovative Nigerians), on the other innovation is 31(unfortunately for majority of us). Education, Government and Politics are also important topics kolafolabi: Biggest economy without nothing to show for it.. I stand for a better Nigeria where there will be no terrorism and tribalism and of course, a better living for all Nigerians. |

1. You have the right to support anybody you wish to, but insulting others because of their choice shows us that you are just what you called people. 2. So now that he (akpabio) is rumored to be going to APC that is when you remember Corruption fight. let me ask you just one question of all the cases in EFCC against perceived corrupt pple (Metuh, Dasuki and Co) what has been your reactions all along. You Guys are shouting witch hunting (this is what i called double standard), (they stole billions that is supposed to be use to provide good education, health and build our future, they sent their kids outside the country at the expense of poor Nigerian Students with a very primitive education system yet we are always carried away with their noise and their drama to evade justice . My brother the truth is that you are one of the problem facing this country. If PMB is not going to do anything but to continue fight against these your corrupt God-fathers i am giving my Vote to him many times for the sake of my born and unborn children. I only hope he (PMB) can fix the problem of incessant loss of innocent life's in some part of the country chronique: Hmm. With all the noise about fighting corruption, buhari decides to use efcc to threaten akpabio to decamp from pdp to apc, rather than prosecute him and recover our stolen money? And you still have people who think buhari has integrity and is fighting corruption? When I say buhari supporters are not intelligent and honest, I actually have a valid reason for saying so. Most of them are also very unintelligent. No difference between buhari and every other corrupt Nigerian leader. They all are same but with different packaging. |
