Hi gurus, I was refused uk visa recently. In my previous application I got some transactions which I did not explained. Moreso , i stated that I have an additional income of 1200 pounds from my rental properties but my dad mainly get the rent in cash. So I was unable to proof that.

I plan to reapply now , can I add the rental reciept or I should not mention In the new application that I have additional income apart from my montly salary paid in to my salary account. I just need your kind advice because I don't want to complicate issues any further. Thanks .

YEYE NAIJA HR PEOPLE....I did an interview and the HR MANAGER was a British man . He moved us from the 4th floor of the office building to KFC ground floor. Professional certification far far better.i was lucky to come to Qatar with free visa through my friend.what helped me was my discipline in school mechanical engineering. I met an Igbo pastor who works with Qatar petroleum he took interest in me. We were talking one day , he asked me what did I study I told him mechanical engineering. He asked me what can I do , said I had experience in power generation.he laughed and said to me electricity is stable here you can not get nothing.He said to me have you had about project management I said yes . You are very very correct. Professional certification remain the best. I read linguistics and i did Nebosh, which i am using to work as a Safety Engr.. My University certificate is not relevant to my field of work...So, professional certification is far better than masters.

Hello house, i applied for for my mum since APRIL 12TH 2016 to visit my Brother schooling in Canada. which is over 3 months now. I sent a reminder mail on Thursday and i got a reply on Saturday that there have been no update still. How come visit visa takes longer time, cos she scheduled her trip for 18th of this month.

It is more than likely that the reason for your US visa application refusal will affect your Canadian visa application: it is obvious that a person who applied for a visa using misrepresentation is not going to leave the country...
During the Canadian visa application, you will be asked whether you have ever been refused a visa to any other country before, and if your answer is "YES", you would have to explain what happened; and if you give a false answer or misleading information, you face additional ban from Canada.
That is not to say that you can never get a visa for Canada of one for any other country, but you need a serious change in your circumstances to convince visa officers that you indeed deserve a visa. But as for the USA, just forget it until the Nigerian passport becomes visa-free or you are able to get a passport that doesn't need a visa to enter the USA

You might get a visiting visa on family grounds.
As you know your rejection is a very bad black mark that will looked at by visa officers.
All that you can do is to apply and see what they (Canada) say, this will cost you the application fee.
Do not get into the hands of any THIEF / agent, if it is possibly then you can do it yourself.
(You are banned from USA so don't waste time trying there.)

I was denied 2012 for a visa lottery during the interview with my girl friend, I was given a sheet of paper and MISREPRESENTATION was ticked
under section 212(a)(6)ci.

My issue now is that,,i got married with a new lady 2013 with kid and my wife is in Canada schooling and I want to visit her. I read about the misrepresentation that stated that its a life ban from entering the USA. [b]Hope that will not affect my visiting to Canada to see my wife?.
