If 2023 showed a glimmer of rice and beans politics, 2027 will be the mother of all rice and beans politics in the North. Despite the APC having several governors across the North, Atiku won virtually all the Northwestern states aside from Zamfara and Jigawa and all the Northeastern states aside from Borno. That was despite after 8 years of Buhari and against an untested Tinubu who still enjoyed the benefit of doubt and considerable Northern goodwill and sympathy. The margin is set to be even wider come 2027 with Tinubu's woeful performance and the perception of betrayal pervading the North. Tinubu's albatross will be his inability to shore up his popularity amongst electorates in the South. Outside of the SW, he remains very unpopular across the other South.

Muslim-muslim ticket is not hitting as hard as it should which is why the likes of Sheikh Yahaya Jingir have been commissioned to hit up the polity to make it a Christian vs Muslim affair but once bitten, twice shy. As for gubernatorial elections, local dynamics and the level of popularity of individual candidates will determine the outcome of the election in each state.

Winning the northern states alone won’t be good for Atiku if he doesn’t win with wide enough margins.

In the video I watched and I want to quote the man.

At around 6 minutes mark of the video he said while holding a paper in landscape (apparently the NYSC cert) he said; This certificate has another name Obi, Peter Gregory-Onwuabushi. I don’t know why this certificate has another name.

He mentioned certificate, call up letters aren’t certificates last I remember and he didn’t even mention call up letter in his statements. The only thing he mentioned was that the university mobilizes students for NYSC.

His reference was on the date on the Certificate May 1, 1986. And I ran a simple check to see that day and it was a Tuesday. From my knowledge and experience, POPs from NYSC are always on Tuesdays. NYSC knows when you’ll finish your service year from the day you report to camp and that’ll be printed on the certificates of all affected by default.

If you feel the certificate is fake, simply write to NYSC to verify that, it’s that simple. Don’t go on television to display ignorance just because you want to attack someone.

The May 1 appeared on the NYSC certificate and I’ve proved to you that doesn’t matter as public holidays doesn’t affect the day you pass out from NYSC.

NYSC counts 365 days from the day you report to camp.

If you’ve ever served before you’ll know.

Anyone that has gone for NYSC will know that arrival at camps are on tuesdays and leaving service (POP) are also on tuesdays.

Public holiday has no effect when you’re having a pass out parade. It’ll still happen.

Not only VIPs.
