Corruption is not the only problem. Answer the following 3 questions:

1. If Nigeria was buoyant as you posited,how come we were selling crude oil in advance to pay fuel subsidy before Tinubu became president?

2. How would Private refineries (e.g Dangote,BUA)survive ,if government still dictates the pump price through subsidy payment? Is encouraging private investment not a way of creating jobs?

3. What would be the fate of the new investors in oil sector ( upstream) ,when we encourage subsidy payment to Importers? The new investors are those that just got license.

1. The person you said crippled Nigeria economy was supported by Tinubu and Tinubu said he would continue from where he stopped.

2. No where in the interview did Atiku mention that he’ll dictate prices of fuel. He only said he would bring back subsidy. Where he would pay the subsidies he hasn’t said yet. But the goal is to bring down energy costs as it’s affecting the people badly. No refinery would be affected, that I can bet.

3. No one is stopping anyone from investing in building refinery, if you cannot work for the policies of the administration, leave. No investor interest should supersede that of the Nigerian people.

Subsidy has to come back. The removal just hasn’t worked.

Tinubu said fuel subsidy is bad and it’s a bad decision to return it.

This administration itself after removing fuel subsidies are paying or paid subsidies on other ventures that ended up having zero impact on the population.

Subsidy 1: CNG conversions and buses program. Shortly after fuel subsidy was removed by Tinubu, his administration rolled out CNG programs that aimed at addressing the effects of subsidy removal especially on transportation, this program failed woefully as the percentage of those that felt the impact is very minute when compared to those that didn’t even know it existed talk more of benefiting.

Subsidy 2: Conditional cash transfers and palliative distributions; this also proved to have failed woefully. Whatever money was distributed to the “poorest of the poor” Tinubu administration identified made no difference and had no solid impact on the people.

My question to Tinubu and Onanuga is this;

Are they against subsidy, or don’t like the idea that government needs to subsidize fuel prices that has greater effect on the economy and people of Nigeria?

I don't support restoring subsidy but I want a better or more beneficial way of spending subsidy proceed.

Oga returning subsidy on fuel won’t spell any doom on Nigerian economy.

Nigeria had much better economy when we were paying subsidy on fuel than when Tinubu removed it.

Fuel subsidy benefited everyone directly or indirectly, the removal only benefits a very very few while a larger percentage of the population suffer.

What should be tackled is the corruption in the system. You don’t throw away a baby with the bath water.

The government must do something to alleviate the suffering of its people. That’s the first priority of any sane government.

I’m with any government that’ll restore fuel subsidy.

Whatever Bulaba and co are doing with the savings now isn’t benefiting the large majority.

Ogunlere can only brag about states being able to pay salaries. He forgets that the total employees of all state governments in Nigeria isn’t even up to 10% of the entire working population of the country.

The elites are the entrepreneurs that provide the jobs for the masses. Unless the elites are buoyant they won’t invest, if they don’t invest they won’t employ. So unless you want to run a socialist or communist economy where the state owns all the factories and employs all the citizens, you have to wait your turn till the effect of the reforms trickles down to the masses. Hard as it may be to hear, that’s the way the system works. Again, If the elite have no jobs or no salary he can’t employ a driver or cook or houseboy. If the economy is not stabilized for business, the entrepreneur will not invest, if he doesn’t invest, no jobs for the masses.

When it comes to achievements, Tinubu will and can never ever match Obj in achievements both in professional careers and governance.

He forfeited money related to drug trafficking.

If he was clean, he would have fought the court judgment that asked him to forfeit money.

What Nigerians did not know is that the real name of Bola Hamed Tinubu is Amoda ogunlere yekini .

For those without idea of what’s happening, I’ll explain what I learnt so far.

The Dipo Awojide man is very famous on twitter now X. He used to be a CV rewriter and appeared to be one of those guys with integrity and the love of Nigeria (so many thought).

In the build up to the 2023 general elections, he appeared to maintain a “neutral” stand on which candidate to support. All hell broke loose when a short clip of him singing the famous “mandate” song of a very popular Nigerian politician who was also a contender in the presidential election surfaced, he was very mad at the person who released and that person was forced to delete it, but the revelation was already made to show he was not as sincere as many thought him to be. Since then he decided to go all out in his support for his candidate and formally joined the APC.

This legal action stemmed from a clip that surfaced just after the Osun elections showing him sitting and crying, people said he was crying because of the loss of the election which he openly campaigned for and even wore the Aso Ebi for the APC. Apparently, he wasn’t crying because of the election but because of him remembering his late father whom the monarch of his home town said was a good man and did a lot for the community’s development.

Na so this guy the one he sued said he was fired from a security job at a hotel near Heathrow airport in the Uk and that he’s never been what he claimed to be. Thus the reason Mr. Awojide went out to list his jobs past and present.

From all indications, the FBI file has been edited and the indictment against President Tinubu has been removed.
I don’t think there’s anything incriminating in that file anymore.
It looks like international politics is being played here, and the matter is already settled.
