In that case you should have enough common sense to know that people make slips of tongue and our journalists these. Days are notorious for quack reporting. Many of them are only journalists because they can’t get a better job.

Either way your common sense should have kicked in. It’s like reading a story or headline for instance claiming we are to spend $1T on a project. You don’t need any brain power to know it is an error and it is either N1TNaira or $1B!
Okay. I just hope you’re getting paid enough for these defenses you put up for these politicians.

Don’t do it for free o. Good bye.

Please show us where Tinubu said it has dropped to 40%! He may have said it had dropped by 40% and like most Nigerians who speak English but really don’t understand English (including the fuuuul in England who thinks he understands English better than an Englishman and challenged him to a competition) who you failed the comprehend and understand the difference between “to 40%” and “by 40%”.

A drop “of” 40% from 97% is consistent with a “drop to”. below 60%.

People like Onanuga went to school when you couldn’t pass English talk leas become a journalist in less you truly understood English.
The problem with you lots is after telling so much lies, you forget that you’ve told so much lies.

“Our debt position is improving. While foreign exchange revaluation pushed our debt-to-GDP ratio to around 53%, our debt service-to-revenue ratio dropped from nearly 100% in 2022 to under 40% by 2024. We paid off our IMF obligations and grew our net external reserves by almost 500% from $4 billion in 2023 to over $23 billion by the end of 2024.

‘’Thanks to our reforms, state revenue increased by over N6 trillion in 2024, ensuring that sub-national governments can reduce their debt burden, meet salaries and pension obligations on a timely basis, and invest more in critical infrastructure and human capital development.

As PDP worst reach, I don’t remember anytime a president went to commission a road that was uncompleted let alone just 4% completed.

As Buhari terrible reach, he didn’t go to commission a 4% completion project.

Lagos landlord has introduced a new dimension of sycophancy.

Last week Tinubu said debt servicing had drop from 97% to below 40%, now Mr. Onanuga said it has dropped to below 60%. Who do we believe?

Let all politicians and political appointees get paid accordingly as civil servants and see if funds won’t be freed up to build “infrastructure”. Una dey fly new jet up and down dey tell us say you need to borrow to fund “projects”.

PoliticsRe: I Grew Up In Lagos Under Tinubu. That’s Why I Have ZERO Respect For Obasanjo by Sheuns(m): 3:25pm On Jun 01, 2025
lol.

Before Tinubu, OBJ was head of state and he built the national theatre in Lagos. He built FESTAC town in 1977.

Obj was head of state at the age of 39/40, Tinubu was not one to be known then.

During OBJ’s tenure as head of state, Jimmy carter the late President of the USA came to Nigeria to visit. Bill Clinton as well as George Bush were two other US presidents that came to visit Nigeria. They all came when OBJ was president or head of state.

In “76 when OBJ came on board as head of state, Nigeria’s inflation was 36%, within a year, inflation dropped to 30%.

Obj is not a saint, but it is an insult comparing someone like Tinubu to Obasanjo. Obj is far ahead of Tinubu in all ramifications but tribal and politics of hate.

The poster must be a child for him to say he grew when Tinubu was governor. He clearly doesn’t even know his left from right.

Obj never ceased state allocations to Lagos state. What was stopped was LGA allocations and the reason is simple. Tinubu created new LGs which is against the constitution of the country and refused to cancel them. Obj and the FG then decided to not give LG allocations for 20 LGAs to Tinubu then because he was going to share it amongst 57 LGAs as against the 20 recognized by the constitution.

Even person wey dey plant for him backyard do local gari without security issues dey elevate price.

Even person wey them convert CNG bus for am free dey charge same price as normal petrol buses!

Blame Tinubu till tomorrow, Nigeria still remains better than Ghana, Niger and co.

We all contributed to the mess in one way or the other!
Tinubu is the sole cause of all these inflation. Devaluation of the naira and sudden removal of fuel subsidy caused all these.

They will ask him to be “constructive” in his criticisms. As if they were constructive when they lambasted other presidents when they were in opposition. A leader is supposed to listen to the plight of the people he governs and not some ministers and advisers you employed that will only as-slick you just to keep their jobs.

It’s more accurate to say we have civil rule.

Factcheck0001:
You have eyes but can't read, have brain but can't comprehend. This is a borrowing plan for both federal and state governments in the MTEF for two years. Not all might be borrowed, it is just a framework. In recent development where states are borrowing less and repaying their debts, it is necessary to put a cap on the borrowing framework.
Una mind is only set to trigger negative alarms, misinterprete facts and spread falsehoods and that's what bitterness and election loss have done to you guys.
You guys are not the first people to lose an election in this country, those who lost in the past did not behave like that was the end of their lives.
The same way y’all defended the “functional” refineries even when we clamored that it’s all fake and later we were justified is the same way we will be justified later on this matter.

Lies can only travel far, it takes just a second for the truth to catch up with it.

As you said, those calendars are predictions. So they can be correct or incorrect.

And as I said earlier, there are various versions of these calculations. And they contradict themselves. Please spend time to read and study before arguing. These predictions are not 2+2 =4 type of science.

Most importantly, the Qur'an says "Whoever amongst you sights the moon". So the beginning of an Islamic month is based on sighting not calculations.

You act like the 6th century was some form of barbaric era. It shows you know next to nothing about history. These statistical estimates for predicting the moon have been around since that 6th century. Yet, Allah and His messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم commanded the believers to base their months on sighting.

Are you wiser or Allah?!
Why did you skip the part where the Qura'n says: if the moon is not sighted, count the days until 29 or 30 and begin a new month?
IslamRe: Sultan Declares May 28 As 1st Day Of Zulhijja 1446 AH by Sheuns(m):
beardedboy:
Islam has its methodology of declaring the beginning and end of a month.

Why do you people act like those automated calendars are some sorth of strict science or even a divine revelation?

Any sensible person who knows basic statistics knows those calendars are based on statistical estimations. So we should leave what we see with our korokoro eyes for some estimates?

Added to that, there are many estimates and they vary in their results.
What’s the methodology? Tell us.

Islam says if you sight the new moon or count till the month is 29 or 30. All these can be predicted. There’s technology advancements that aids these.

We’re not in 6th century where we have to wait for the Mulama to tell us it’s a new month. Anyone with knowledge can get the correct information.

Tell me why the calendars are always accurate.
