justli: On this one the pastor is spot on though. Following your pattern recognition and data analysis, it's saved to argue that overwhelming majority of people who wear ankle chain are lesbians.
Lesbians wear them to announce themselves. Another significant percentage are prostitutes. They also wear them to say: "I'm available".
Them we have the segment of the users that wear it for fashion. So the question is, why should a decent woman wear something that identifies lesbians and prostitutes. That lesbians chose to wear anklets as their sign doesn’t mean they started wearing them first. Anklets have been worn by African women and royals far before lesbians chose to adopt them. Do you even know how lesbians announce themselves with anklets? |

MufasaLion: Hadi Sirika and his chorts looted 19bn. Money that could have made a reasonable impact. More reason I always laugh when people are positive about the future of Nigeria.
Hadi Sirika is over 60 and he doesn't even need more than 1bn till he depart this world. Life expectancy in Nigeria is around 59 years and you stole 19bn all for what?
Just as Emefiele stole also. What the he.ck do you need a real estate of over 700 buildings for? You're almost in your grave! This is beyond greed. It's metal illness. Keyamo was part of the last administration. He sat at the FEC meeting that approved the funds for the carrier. |

DeLaRue: Excellent.
Put the right people in the right positions, they say this person is Yoruba, that one is Yoruba too.
If someone is Yoruba and is doing a great job for the country, how does it matter.
The Attorney General did a great job with local government autonomy. Now, today's great news.
Would it be better to put someone in that position just to satisfy ethnic balance? We saw how some of the previous Attorney Generals compromised the interest of the country.
All Presidents must be given the free hand to fill the most important positions in their governments based on merit, not tribal origin. Other positions can be spread around for ethnic balance.
In any case, the Attorney General is from the North. I never realized people from the north now bear Fagbemi. |
Politics › Re: Why Alaafin Of Oyo Deserves the Number 1 Spot In Yoruba Land by Sheuns(m): 2:43pm On May 24, 2025 |
Slytiger: 1. Is correct. Oyo never had control over Ife, Ekiti, Ijebu and Ondo as stated by goodvibes earlier.
2. Kiriji was against ibadan and not oyo. Oyo fell to the fulanis in the 1820s, and the Alaafin fled further to the South to their present day location. Clapperton documented this era in his book about the decline of Oyo. Kiriji war was between the Ekiti-parapo and Oyo and Ibadan. Ibadan was the war machine of the Old Oyo empire. Oyo did not fall to the Fulanis. Oyo and the entire South western part of Nigeria fell to the British after the 16 years of the Kiriji war. |

Zico5: They alleged that instead of paying the cash into the Federation Account, the FG illegally diverted it into the Consolidated Revenue Accounts (CRA) and other accounts not recognised by the Nigerian Constitution.
With this statement above, supreme Court still ruled in favour of federal government. This country is truly gone. So Tinubu has pocketed all the two arms of government. No check and balance again whatsoever. It happened between 2015-2021. That was Buhari’s tenure. |
