India was the country with the largest number of people in extreme poverty, which impacts 234 million of its 1.4 billion population. It was followed by Pakistan, Ethiopia, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The five countries accounted for nearly half of the 1.1 billion poor people. I don't think this has anything to do with blacks & quarter black Kamala. Hillary Clinton is not black. Also, blacks are just 13.5% of registered voters in the last election. Simple arithmetic with Trump: America for America, not America for the world. I 100% agree with him. Let's all develop our homes. Originalsly: I don't even know why the public vote ... the public vote is simply a popularity vote ... the electorial college votes are the ones that determine who becomes President. I believe this would be the most difficult one to predict. For the Democrats .... the LGBTQ and their agenda .. and the support for Israel and its genocide and Ukraine are major problems. They have the gays in their corner ... but send the Christians to the other side. Are the gays more than the Christians? HS citizens are tired of these unnecessary wars. The Republican side ... Project 2025 will drive people to the other side ... it basically will make Trump a dictator and take America back to segregation days. But then there is the issue of Trump not supporting wars ... there will be "peace" under Trump. People will vote according to their conscience and this is not something one can have a grip on. This election inside open. |

Maybe your leaders are having a field day because they were once the type of follower that you are now. You should pay attention to details instead of looking for shortcuts. Real life is not arithmetic. We know who is desperate in football between Nigeria, Libya and South Africa. At what point did it become a do-or-die affair for Nigeria on the green grass? Have you ever seen a Nigerian player feigning injury, putting up annoying time wasting antics, and all sorts of mind games during any international match? We do not have such history! If you can do that on the field, then I am pretty sure that you can come up with any form of antics. "The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has argued that it has no hand in South Africa’s delayed arrival to Uyo for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The Bafana Bafana of South Africa took to their X page on Thursday to reveal that they spent “18 hours on the road” and ended up sleeping in Port Harcourt on Wednesday night instead of flying to Uyo, the host city for the game.
South Africa arrived in Uyo on Thursday afternoon and had their first training session in the evening of the said day for the qualification game which will kick off at 8 p.m. today, June 7.
The handlers of the Bafana Bafana social media accounts made it look like it was the fault of the NFF that they spent the night in Port Harcourt and arrived in Uyo on Thursday instead of Wednesday.
To contest that, the head of NFF’s protocol, Emmanuel Ayanbunmi, issued a statement to reveal that the Bafana Bafana left South Africa five hours later than scheduled, and the NFF got to know that they would land in Port Harcourt for routine checks instead of Lagos.
“[b]The problem has nothing to do with the NFF. At the time they said they were taking off, it took them a further five hours to actually depart from South Africa. We were not informed. We had informed officials of the Nigeria Immigration Service and other relevant agencies in Lagos to expedite action on the formalities for them”, a statement from the NFF reads. “It was less than two hours to landing that they contacted us to say that the landing right they got was for Port Harcourt International Airport and not the MMA in Lagos. We had to quickly get in touch with officials of NMS and other agencies in Port Harcourt and mobilize people to ensure smooth formalities for them. Having completed all immigration formalities, they wanted to take off for Uyo but were informed that the Obong Victor Attah Airport only operates from sunrise to sunset, so that was not possible. The NFF immediately mobilised resources for them to comfortably spend the night in Port Harcourt.”" Beverlyjean: So all of them decided to be landing in ph so that they will suffer for hours to uyo... Nigeria did nothing wrong to the Libyan team when they came here! This is a pattern with visiting teams, who expect to lose and start looking for excuses before the match. They deliberately create situations where they project back to their home countries that they’re being mistreated. South Africa did the same thing. They flew to Port Harcourt instead of Uyo. They insisted on making their own arrangements instead of accepting the arrangements made by the NFF. The situation was contrived by the Arabs so they can mistreat the Super Eagles in their own country and hope to get a result. Their lack of sportsmanship which they displayed during the match by wasting time is what they have continued off the field. They claimed they were put in small buses without air conditioning but there are photos online of the Libyan team in a customised bus with their flag and name of country in it! The Super Eagles should return home and not play the match. We are in 2024 and their barbaric actions is a throwback to the 1970s. If Nigeria had done anything wrong to them, they should have complained to CAF. QUOTED Beverlyjean: Oga shut up...Nigeria treated them badly when they came to play... u told them to land in PH while the match was in Uyo , u guys sent them bus that was rickety with no AC to drive for 3 to 4 hrs iwith our terrible roads ... and then ended up dumping them in terrible place that me myself can't even be seen coming out from... gave them nonsense food ...they complained, and ubguys told them to manage .... because one criminal decided to half the money into 2 while the next halved the half money into 2 again...due to high level of corruption.... Now they are playing the same game and u all dare to complain.... because they are not like us that complain on social media.... South Africans complained about same .... Please stop this rubbish. Why would the NFF mistreat Libya? We don't do things like that, they are not our rivals by any stretch of imagination, we have no history of antagonism, it was a relatively straight forward game. If anything happened it wasn't deliberate. We have no history of such desperation in football. Exact comment I was expecting. Totally agree with you. A bigger message is passed by boycotting this match. By playing you are placing seal of approval on such conduct. To those who kept saying that Eagles should beat them on the pitch, are you the ones to ensure their safety after that victory? What if your blood brother is among these players? valentineuwakwe: It would be silly for Nigeria to still go ahead and continue with this game..i bet if this has happen to them here, dem for abandon the match n na we go stil mumu go deg beg them....

The police involved are useless and the people are equally useless. When we tell each other that we the people are the problem of Nigeria with everyone just waiting for power to show their true color, some go begin vex. VDM is passing a very deep message. The system may be imperfect but stop using your power to strengthen lawlessness and impunity. Take the guy to court & keep the judiciary on their toes. We can't continue with focusing on our legal system only after election, it should be part of our consciousness everyday. A policeman is not a judge. If the best powerful men like Davido & Burna can do for redress is to simply arrest you then we are not ready for real progress. bemeruca: Let the speed, or whatever his name is, take Burna to court. The police in this country are very useless. A person will walk up to them and ask them to arrest another person. They will say mobilize us and that's all it takes. They won't ask you what happened and see if a crime or a law has been broken. |
