dinachi: I never ever imagined that Nairaland will be a platform for promoting homosexuality, lesbianism and Transgenderism. It's almost becoming like Linda Ikeji home of homosexuals in Nigeria! If the owner of this platform is a Christian and allows this, it means he doesn't understand the least things about Christianity. Secondly, the laws of our country is against this. Why are you projecting this? Fyi Mr Seun |

How grown men can just wake up and convince each other that they are the ones deserving the sweat of another person is something that I can never comprehend. There should be no mercy when such people are apprehended. |

Go to Ojo-oba in Ibadan, go to Lagos, and go to other states. The Oyo community will inaugurate their shariah whether they shout from today till kingdom come, nobody will stop the sharia in Yoruba land. Yes, I'm editing the list by fact checking my source. Winless streak was getting replaced with losing streak so I'm editing to update that. Man City's current run should be a huge subject of research. It's far worse than I was taking it to be Angelfrost: Bless you for this... This is so thorough.
I remember that of Inter... It was so shocking. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester City Vs Everton (1 - 1) 0n 26th December 2024 by Shikena(m): 3:57pm On Dec 26, 2024 |
... you are also correct that this is not random or common place. I did a search across major teams and this is indeed very rare. Other notable poor runs by prominent teams include: Chelsea: Lost 5 matches in a row in 2023 (I will verify this ) Arsenal: Had a 9-match winless streak in 2019. AC Milan: Had a 10-match winless run in Serie A during the 2014-2015 season. Borussia Dortmund: Went through a 10-match winless run in the Bundesliga during the 2014-2015. Inter Milan: Experienced a 9-match winless streak in Serie A during the 2011-2012 season. Tottenham Hotspur: Experienced a nine-match losing streak in December 1997. Arsenal: Had a 10-match winless streak in March 1977. Manchester United: Went through a nine-match losing streak in December 1961. Liverpool: Experienced a nine-match losing streak in January 1954. Angelfrost: Oh I see now... I merely reacted to the part about this being "random" or common place for top or most teams.
Even if you want to throw or fix games, tossing 10 games in a row is practically begging for a historical ban. |

The 12 matches include the champions league though lol Angelfrost: Lol... Boss, how many players are getting old?!! Talk true!
Haaland is old?!! Foden?!! Doku? Savinho? Even Silva is at the same level as Bruno!
Not winning one game in 3 can be understood at their elite level (case in point is their Red neighbor)... But, 1 out of 12 is DIABOLICAL!
That's basically League 2 level of mess up. |

Then you joined a discussion without regards to the trail of discussion. The discussion you joined was about Man City deliberately dropping points, that is categorized as match-fixing. You quoted me. Angelfrost: Boss, I'm not even alluding to Match-fixing... I haven't accused them of that.
Still, you have to admit it's unusual and downright strange.
I mean... Even EVERTON?!!
Do you know that Man City is currently ranked in the bottom 3 of EPL going by their results in the last 2 months?
All I'm saying is strange things are happening over there. |

It was even belated because of Guardiola's genius. Most teams get found out in far less time especially when you have had series of transitions across different types of players in your team. When EPL teams find you out, they are like bull-dogs! wiseone28: Nothing strange about it.. law of diminishing returns. They were overconfidence till they are caught off guard with their players getting old |

Dude, I expect better from you. Planning to lose matches is categorized under match-fixing and has serious legal implications. Covering it up is not as easy as you may think as such a plan would involve many people and keeping this secret is no easy task. At a point you are going to have a whistleblower and all hell will get loose. The club will definitely not survive the legal (criminal/civil) implications, violation of competition law, sanctions, and reputation damage. Come on now! Yes, something is happening but planning to lose "a few matches"? Don't be ridiculous. Angelfrost: There is absolutely nothing random or commonplace about 1 win in over 10 games...
Let's not be ridiculous abeg.
Yes, top teams decline, but never to this horrifying extent.
Something strange is afoot at Man City. |

Chukwuma, it's ok to state that you are Igbo. There is nothing bad in it . Sepukku: Point 1 For the record. I am not Igbo so all those accusations fall flat on their head.
Point 2. I study genealogy, linguistics and genetics as a past time.
Point 3. It is without a doubt that linguistic similarities, proximity basis and cultural ties ultimately point to a very high probability of genetic similarities with any two groups of people being studied.
It is my contention that the Ikwerre are an Igboid peoples who originally emanate from original source Igbo people and likely incorporated several other characteristics from neighboring groups that altered parts of their linguistics and culture.
Therefore the claim by Igbos that the Ikwerre are indeed an Igbo subgroup is not out of order.
You are allowed to self-determine or self-actualize but you cannot base that actualization on a bunch of lies.
