Finallyyyyyyyyyyy, June begins tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve packed and repacked and I’m still going to repack my hospital bag my heart is so full.. I’m now 36 weeks! God is good to me! We’ll all have our babies alive and well by the special grace of God. Nothing missing or broken. Congratulations to us in advance.

BS! BS!!
I started having mild contractions around 3am on May 23rd so I couldn't sleep till day break.. I saw mucus plug just when we were about leaving home and my water broke on my way to the hospital .. The contractions increased .. Doctor did VE immediately I arrived at the hospital in the morning and said I was 5cm dilated. I was so happy.. I was moved into labour room, Contractions increased and the pain unbearable, I can't explain it .. VE was done again after few hours and I was moved into delivery room.. I was told to push as contraction was coming, but I was so tired to push..After several pushing, the midwife was like I will receive episiotomy ohh. I was like nooo, please don't give me episiotomy ohh., she had to take the scissors or whatever they use, before I could say don't cut me, she already did .. I pushed a few more times then baby finally came out ... I thought I was done with all the pains till they started stitching the episiotomy..I was shouting while they stitch..

Thanks be to God, I got discharged and I’m back home with my son still baking in my womb. Decided to go to work today since I was bored to stupor already, only for my MD to tell me that he’s not sure I’ll be re employed after my 3 months maternity leave cos he has employed someone to stand in for me during my absence. It just felt like cold water was poured all over my body. It really spoilt my day. I was actively trying to conceive for 9 months. I’ve had 2 myomectomies, 61 fibroids removed, 2 HSGs and one sono. We were preparing to start artificial reproduction processes when God stepped in. I literally saw hell and now my job is literally gone cos I’m procreating. Thanks be to God for everything. His plans for me are of good and not of evil. My bundle of joy is more than enough for me

I also want to know at what time did you take Tetanus vaccine during pregnancy..
. The private hospital I registered with never mentioned it until I went to the general hospital yesterday where they prescribed it for me.


Also, does anyone really have a list of baby items to buy.. If so, could you share it would be very much appreciated.

As i stated, shear butter and coconut oil does so many functions when in use in the nipple, one of such is cleaning of the nipples and making the nipples visible because in some women they cant see their nipples. Nipple cleaning can be done at any time. If you choise to do yours after delivery or in the delivery room is uour choice but i am the one that stated coconut oil is used for cleaning nipples. That it stimulates uterine contractions in your system does not mean it does so that another mother. What affects you must not affect others and what works for you must not work for others.

.... I took one around Feb, was told I'll take another within a month interval... Did around April.. When I went for antenatal I was asked to take another this month but couldn't bring myself to cos it's somehow close and I want to be sure about the number of times to do so during pregnancy... That means I'll wait till 3rd trimester. Thanks

Ah yes its true, it can cause early labour reason y i avoided it but i suffer d consequence when wn my boy arrived cs milk refused to come out 4 5days... It wasnt lik dt wit my first bcs i do clean everyday n milk came out d day i gave birth to him but trust me everytime i clean my nipple i alwz hv dis bracxton kicks contractn.

I like the warm cloth pressing, maybe because it helps me sleep well and makes my body feel so relaxed. but that sitting on steam is not easy

I was pressed with hot water over two weeks and I don't know why the bleeding stopped so quick. As for the belly wrinkles, none of the women in my family experienced it, maybe that's why I didn't too.

I just remembered that at ATG (ask the gynecologist) group on Facebook, the doctors says pressing is not needed and that no need for hot water drinking or pressing too. They say the uterus will go back to its normal size as long as you do EBF. There have been so much debates over it.

I have hormonal imbalance, maybe that's the reason the bleeding stopped early? I don't know.

This braxton hicks is another pain on it's own oo, I ct sleep with my left syd again, managing the right side and ct sleep wit back(so annoying), had to wake up in d midnight and sit while sleeping because I can't lie down anymore, is dat hw I ll b sitting everytym and yansh ll b xo heavy too? Can May just do and go Ranting done and dusted

Good day Mamas in the house… I am silent reader in this group , my girlfriend EDD is Friday 27 and we can’t wait to see our bundle of joy ….the issue is that my girlfriend is always worried about her stretch marks ,I have been consoling her that I still love her with the stretch marks but her constant complain is getting me worried please is there any cream ,oil or any home remedies that can removes stretch marks or better still make it a little invisible ?

Mamas come to my aid o, my tummy has been hardening up kind of, is it possible to have Braxton hicks at 18 weeks?

Its worrying kind of because it just becomes suddenly hard and eases off after sometime.

How I wish I did
I was advised to do it but as I was waiting for money to do it, I had membrane rupture of the lead twin(T1)'s
sac at 16wks+ so I started having liquor drainage/leakage, an Arabian pessary (alternative to cerclage) was inserted, the drainage/leakage stopped for 12hrs and started again as am typing this I'm in the hospital because I have been placed on bed rest with raised foot of the bed. More like hanging my legs but the liquor is still draining especially after any body movement including pee and poo even though the leakage is not much.

My problem now is that I have to be in hospital (bed rest) for as long as it will take the liquor to stop draining.
Experience Mamas and doctors in the house pls is there any thing I can do to stop this drainage? Pls I need ideas and
Suggestions.

Update: the drugs are working well so contractions have stopped (last one was at 1.30am). The fibroid is degenerating and the pain is what stimulated contractions. My doctors are trying to stall delivery to 36weeks but I’ve gotten 2doses of dexamethasone injection to hasten lung maturity. I’ll be 35 weeks tomorrow and the baby’s weight as at yesterday was 2.8kg hence my major duty is to eat very well to increase his weight to at least 3.3kg by this Friday and 3.5kg by 36 weeks so he won’t be small (to decrease chances of NICU admission).
This will definitely end in praise in Jesus name

Good evening mamas, My Los activity has really reduced. Tho I know he is in there, but for for days now or so he rarely moves or kick on his own onless I cajole him like touch my belly for a long time, shake it or something like that, and he just move to tell me he is in there and that's all, till I touch him again.. at 35wks fah. Even his dad noticed.
Going to do scan tomorrow Sha just to be sure, if to say I no dey use general hospital and my doctors are easy to access I for go hospital straight sef.
Any reason to be worried or is that how baby boys do?
