Towards the end of their second term, BAT in Lagos sent his retirement bill and got his House of Assembly to approve what you see below as his yearly pension;

1. 300% annual salary as severance package as approved by RMAFAC.
2. 100% of annual basic salary of incumbent gov as salary for LIFE even after leaving office.
3. Six new cars every 3 years
4. A new house in Lagos, minimum 5 bedroom
5. A new house in Abuja or any other location, minimum 5 bedroom
6. Free medical care for him and members of his family for life.

14. Pensionable drivers, no limits to the number.

This is apart from what Bola TINUBU gets as a percentage of collections from Alpha Beta for tax collections for Lagos State and the total control he has over the governor and the treasury. No wonder he boasted in 2018 of being richer than the whole of Osun state.

But see what Peter Obi collects from Anambra State since leaving office as governor:
1. No gratuity
2. No pensions
3. No houses
4. No cars
5. No allowances of any kind
6. No maintenances of any kind.
7. No PA's paid by the state.
8. No domestic staffs paid by the state.
9. No aids sponsored by the state.
10. No Shi Shi from the state not even pure water
He's still using his personal money to pay school fees for some children of the poor till date.

Now the two men want to be president.

So choose whom you know today means well for Nigeria and who will serve the people selflessly.

It's just like the feeling you get when you're watching your kids from afar as they enjoy themselves in that pastime like skipping ropes, algalagala and other recreation with a win or loss outcome that they are immersed in. It's for fun bro, don't get worked up over it. When fans troop into pitch in their thousands to support a team and they are singing and chanting, and dancing and chanting, even the angels, I would assume, are interested and engrossed, or when then there is a dying minutes thunderous goal with fans trooping into the pitch to celebrate before the ref even blows the final whistle. . I am sure God might be amused and pleased as Liverpool fans were chanting "Make it 10" against Bournemouth yesterday God finds pleasure in some human activites. May God forgive me if I am wrong, though. My point is, hobbies are not wrong, even the Almighty may delight in us when we enjoy them.

That being said, the OP is just surprised that one of the most watched sports in the world and one of the most followed competition, a Nigerian male is ignorant of. You don't need to have certain hobbies to know certain things. You should not exonerate him because he probably doesn't follow football. We should be all rounders. I know almost nothing about Basketball but if you ask me some elementary things about the sports, I should be able to answer you. We should be all-rounders. Basic knowledge of things around us should be encouraged. A country where during Champions league night, his peers are trooping out of viewing centers in their numbers? He has no excuse.

I can't believe there are still men who don't watch football or know nothing about sports.

I was watching who wants to be a millionaire and this particular question was thrown to this guy.. I couldn't believe the guy didn't know the answer. Baba was totally confused and speechless. He even requested in using one of his lifeline options by calling a friend. Omo! I just dey laugh. And the answer is B. I have to capture the moment.

I can't do without watching sports especially football, boxing and wrestling. There's no question you will throw at me about football or other sport games that I won't give you an accurate answer. I know all football leagues competition round the world even Nigeria premier league I do follow up too.

Football is fun especially when you're arguing, teasing, defending, laughing, throwing banters at each other's club while drinking your cold beer.

Even here on nairaland when there's a live match update, I do visit the thread because I always enjoy the banter fans throw at each other.. It really fun.
