I don't think that any of the marginalized minorities of Nigeria will pick a quarrel with sectional calls for a better deal or for self determination if ethnic equity remains elusive. Nevertheless, such agitation must not operate outside or beyond extant laws of the land. Resort to impunity can only potend anarchy and no responsible government of the day can condone that. The earlier the government uses sovereign might to squash ugly rearing heads of territorial arrogance and impunity, the better for the nation. Any delay by government to take charge and affirm the authentic centre of power can be very dangerous.
