Celebrities / Re: Olamide Badoo Career As An Artiste Has Ended (SEE WHY) by sholasys: 8:58am On Dec 18, 2019
Oshoboy01:
Looking at the recent trend of things in the music industry, it looks like Olamide Adedeji popularly called Olamide Badoo is no more bad again as an artiste. Most especially in 2019 that is about to come to an end, it feels like his career is going to end with the year.

Olamide Badoo is an amazing artiste no doubt, he has done so well for himself as an artiste, as a businessman in music, has helped several people but it looks all that is about to become a history judging by the recent happenings, maybe it’s just that his season as an a-list artiste has ended.

Olamide came into the industry with a track titled ‘Eni Duro’, this track shook the music industry and he almost immediately rose to become one of the most sought after musician in Nigeria. He immediately continued with ‘Omo To Shan’ featuring Wizkid, both were everyone’s favourite at this time and this contributed to the success of the song. Olamide later got the name Young Erikina, he released songs and he became a household name in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Olamide, since then , has released hit songs back to back, has done several shows which were sold out, raised the likes of Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun, YBNL Princess, Lyta, Picazzo Rap, Yomi Blaze, Fireboy DML to mention a few, even after having so many artistes to look after, Olamide still got time to release hit songs.

However, 2019 has not been a good year for the artiste, although traces of this were seen in 2018 but they weren’t so obvious as 2019. Olamide used to compete with the likes of Davido, Wizkid, other top artistes but now, an artiste that just came up yesterday is being talked about and listened to than Olamide Badoo.

In 2019, One can count the amount of songs Olamide released, unlike past years when Olamide released Albums almost every years, he didn’t release any this year, he only released singles that almost didn’t pass the roof of the studio where they were recorded.

It’s not enough to do music, one need to have a concrete plan to enable him or her enjoy longevity in the music industry because so many artiste come up every day and there is need for one to be strategic to ensure relevance for a long time.

Olamide has enjoyed fame on merit ever since but has done little to enjoy longevity. As much as people wants to dance, people get tired sometimes and wants to listen to something that has great meaning. Taking a look at 2face, Banky W, these people can’t release a song today without people getting to know it, they are legends already, their sound is unique and they have a very good line of lyrics but Olamide released some tracks which include Woske and Pawon this year and it was just short of expectation for some people.

The vulgar languages, even on his instagram page, some people had to unfollow him due to the content he was posting to promote the songs, he began posting ladies dancing naked, shaking their butt and his page was almost looking like a porn site. People believe things like this should occur with an upcoming artiste who is looking for attention not someone who has gotten the attention already.

Olamide didn’t win any notable award this year, he didn’t make any notable achievement this year and next year isn’t looking like a glorious one for him, looking at this, Olamide might never recover from the death of his career, however, I wish him well.

http://trixxng.com/olamide-badoo-career-as-an-artiste-has-ended-see-why/

You tried small but you can't bring him down with this malicious publicity. If you are really smart, You should know that no musician reigns forever. Even this year Olamide had a hit on Pawon and its still bubbling.... Most choice of DJ in party dance. Awon Enemy

Politics / Re: Atiku Has Shown His First Contempt Of South East by sholasys: 11:33am On Oct 14, 2018
globemoney:
First Atiku reneged on an agreement reached by SE leaders and then he went on to pick a candidate based on recommendation from Nyesom Wike in the SS without consulting our leaders.

Atiku does not understand we have leaders in the SE, if he thinks he can win the SE without the support of SE leaders then he is simply dreaming.
To make matters worse, Atiku picked as his running mate, an enemy of the Anambra State government. Makes me wonder if Atiku really wants to be president. With this, all SE governors across party divides are rejecting Atiku’s running mate. How does Atiku intend to win the region?

With the SE where he should have 80% of the votes now divided, Atiku may have lost the election before the election.

This is always the problem of Southeast, they likes bringing each other down. I remember during Evans Enwerem, Dr Okadigbo saga, in the year 2007 they could not form a consensus when it looks like the political parties then are looking for a South easterner. Allow him, he is Igbo and experienced. The truth is there is no Man raised from Igbo that one group or the other will not go against

On a serious note, afonjas should free themselves from "we-die-here" mentality. It's a good thing that Nigeria will be reclaimed and progressed by an Hausa and igbo man... We've tried Hausa and Yoruba but it didn't work.

Any Yoruba man that votes or campaigns for buhari just to spite the igbo VP, my prayer for such a person is; may your life affairs be run as Buhari has been running Nigerians affairs.
What we are after is good and improved governance, I love this combination as a Yoruba man, we HV been there, Sec. To the Fg or SP is not bad

Romance / Re: Note To Women: Stand By Him At Owner's Risk by sholasys: 4:14pm On Dec 30, 2017
Missali:
One of the qualities men look out out for in a woman is the ability for her to stay true by him during trying times and a woman who cannot do that is termed a non wife material and slay Queen at best and at worst, a gold digger.
It is believed that when a woman supports her man and he comes to, in turn he will respect her and share responsibilities as he should but often times, this is not the case.

Many at times we have heard experiences from family, friends, colleagues or even gone through it.
Here's mine: I had this boyfriend that was struggling in every sense of the word. We kept on despite his financial shortcomings and I would travel a long distance to see him knowing fully well that the trip expenses and all that came with it were on me. I did not hesitate to oblige favours that I could give and ensured I went out with him during his jobs just to give that moral support.

Things seemed to be going on well until the day I was sitting with some friends and one of them asked how I was enjoying with my boyfriend. I responded with a light laugh and he asked "now that your guy has made it, what is the way forward?"

Me: Made it how?
Guy: Your guy hit over one million in that online betting promo.
Me: Yes yes, it's not easy... Such an unexpected favour at a time like this.

I pretended to be aware and happy but I wasn't myself till the end of the day. Everybody knew the good news except me.
One week, two weeks, one month passed and I got no call from my estranged boyfriend to even tell me what had happened. I refused to call too.

I heard news about how he had become the man about town, declaring free drinks for people he met at our street bars, dashing money to those who came to celebrate with him etc. Whenever someone who knew us sighted me they asked, "are you not M's girlfriend?" and I mumbled any answer that came to mind.
Months later I got a call from him begging to see Me. After many refusals, I decided we meet. He went on his knees apologising, saying he knew I was aware of all that had happened but was too ashamed to contact me. He went on about how he rented an apartment for one girl, was giving out money with reckless abandon, purchased an expensive mobile phone which he ended up selling at an abysmally low price (due to hardship) and how he was popping bottles at bars et al.

The length and breadth of the story was that the money was all gone. The business idea we had brainstormed he made no use of the money to invest. All his friends and girlfriends had left him for good and he felt lonely, he remembered the one who stood by him sincerely.

At the moment he had not a penny, with an empty stomach and looking for a way to get a small job. I could tell he was miserable from his looks alone. If only he had the right company who would have advised him at such a critical time, he'd never have had to go hungry again. I took him to a restaurant and we had a nice meal. He called me a good girl, a loving friend, a confidant blah blah blah.

Ladies, they will come at you with twisted words tell you they want a good woman, a patient woman, a supportive woman etc. Some will even tell you that they can never respect a woman who does not struggle with them. Do not fall for it. Most times, what they want is someone to take their excesses while they move on to cast their net elsewhere. For tens of stories about men who stick by their women when the going got smooth, there are hundreds of untold stories about men who looked the other way.

Playing the supportive role is the case of it may work and it may not. It is not stated anywhere that after standing by him and he leaves for another woman, he will be mobbed. You will simply be remembered as 'the one who once was', that's all.

It is a case of driving into a place with the words "cars parked at owner's risk." Nobody will tell you not to park your car but you hold yourself liable should anything happen to it. Hence, stand by your man at owner's risk.

You made a terrible mistake by not asking him about the money he won, he needed someone to guide him. You stayed away because of annoyance and sheer ego

Romance / Re: 9 Lies Married Men Use All The Time To Hit On Women by sholasys: 4:02pm On Nov 03, 2017
DRIFTyKING:
Married men are all over, roaming and deceiving ladies everywhere.

No, don’t get me wrong, I am a married man but I tell you this for free; we are the most devious and malicious creatures to ever walk this earth. A married man will lie to you without batling a lid to hit on you and eventually win your heart.

Here are 9 lies married men use to hit on you:

1. I am not happy in my marriage.

This is the topmost lie that men lie to woo naive girls into dating them. If he is not happy he should leave, not bringing a sob story to make you swallow the line and hook up. My sister, if he is unhappy you are not his happiness either – abort mission.

2. I will leave her.

You have heard this statement a thousand times from married men. He says he is fed up with his wife and will leave her for you. It’s a lie!

3. I am with her for the sake of the kids.

You’ve already heard this comment gazillion time. He will lie that he is with the wife for the sake of the kids while in the real sense, they are very happily married. Visit his social media accounts and you’ll be met by pictures of a perfect family.

4. I don’t love her.

This is a line that most married men are fond of using. If he doesn’t love her what makes you think he will love you? Wake up girl, he just wants to slide you to the sack!

5. I will marry you.

What makes you believe that he will leave his wife for you? Married men use this lie to lure you into accepting his demands knowing very well that he will never leave his wife for you. The only way to avoid this is to avoid him.

6. We separated just recently.

He will lie to you that he just separated with his wife and they are just co-parenting. He will continue lying to you that he may even consider you the second mother of his kids. Really? Do you buy such crap? I don’t think so.

7. She is not as beautiful as you.

No one hates to be told that they are beautiful, but using this lie to get you is just lame. Everyone is beautiful in their own ways. Sweetie he is just making you feel good so that you fall into his trap head first.

8. We don’t even sleep in the same bed.

This is a lie married men will tell you to make you believe that they are not even sleeping with their wives. He will lie to you that the last time they slept together was before the new millennium. He is lying. Stay woke.

9. I will move out.

He will lie to you that he will find a place for you and leave his matrimonial home. Men use this lie to make you feel that he is more interested in making a future with you. It’s a lie, be wise.

He is still being ecomomical with the truth.

He should stop embellishing his facts.

If he was in PH Nigeria, then he wasn't earning beyond N600k and not the $6000 he mentioned which is quite possible working as an IM outside Nigeria.

Only those working with producing firms can earn as much as $6000 per month at the entry level that he was, or those who are not Nigerians but work in Nigeria as an expatriate even if at the entry level. Not a green hat in a service firm who is not an expatriate staff.

If he still maintains his wild claims, let him upload his monthly payslip for a regular month and not the start of the year lump sum pay.

He might have been enroute such potential pay some day in his career if he got an international redeployment to another location of the same firm, but he certainly did not have such pay as the alternative forgone when he decided to up and leave.

rtmajayi:
This video shows how a robbery gang robbed a lady who just left the bank and made a stop over somewhere around Agidingbi, Ikeja in Lagos. An eye witness said.

This video is an incident of what happened to my colleague yesterday. N500K was taken from her locked car at Mobil Filling station, Agidingbi. She went to GTB, Alausa to withdraw N500K, and kept it under her car seat. When she drove out, she saw a car coming behind her, not knowing there were actually 2 cars following her. So when she got to FBN, Agidingbi, she indicated as if she was going back the way she came, so the car she saw following her passed her to go ahead of her to the side she indicated to, which is the Lexus jeep.

On seeing that the car had passed, she now decided to enter Mobil so that they could go completely, not knowing that another car was still behind her. She parked and went into Mr. Biggs to allow them to go, bought a bottle of water and before she came out, her door had been opened and her money stolen! The CCTV in Mr Biggs, captured the professional way the thieves operated. Watch.........this clip and take lessons please.

It is highly unfortunate that this CCTV capture have no value other than a clip. The suspect (the man) could not be identified and they could not zoom to capture the plate number. People just buy any how CCTV and patronized quacks. That's not the kind of camera to be stationed outside (outdoor) on a major street. If na me do this job them for catch them life, i swear.

Education / Re: PROVE to show that Making First class In UNI Is Harder Than Distinction In POLY by sholasys: 11:42am On Mar 23, 2016
Ezegozie:
It is harder to make firstclass in University than to make Distinction in Politechnics.
Here is my Mathematical Prove.

For University to make first class, you must get atleast 4.5 GPA out of possible 5.
That is 4.5/5

To make distinction in Politechnic, you must get atleast 3.5 GPA out of possible 4.
That is 3.5/4.

HENCE
4-------------3.5 (For Politechnics)

5/4 * 3.5 = 4.375 (Equivalent For University)

CONCLUSION
3.5/4 GPA (politechnic)
is equivalent
To 4.375/5 GPA (University)

But if you get 4.375 in University which is equivalent of 3.5 in politechnic, You will not make first class because what is needed from you is atleast 4.5GPA.

So with this mathematical prove above, I hereby conclude that its harder to make first class in university than to make distinction in Politechnics.

Hope you understand my Prove?

Your mathematical calculation does not prove anything OK. Something is lacking behind, you are just insinuating. The point here is the "work effort". How do you determine "how harder to get those GPA?" Is it by the higher GPA range ? NO !!! hypothetically incorrect.
Do you know in some schools and or departments(course) it is easy to get 4.5 or over than to get 3.5 or over ? You are a typical stereotype homo sapiens.

change ok
