Portharcourt city roads are in shamble, flood everywhere when it rains, pot-holes, over-head bridge collapse, and some are death traps. A whole oil city for that matter everywhere is dead locked with “go slow” because of bad roads. Go to GRA, even the old GRA you can’t drive freely without hold-ups, traffic jam. Although it’s everywhere but phc is the worst in this country. The traffic management TIMA RIV can’t help the matter because most of the traffic jams are caused due to bad roads, pot-holes everywhere.
Go to Woji, Elelewon axis you will ever regret driving there; just book a whole day journey. It is as bad as your house may be just a stone thrown, less say 50m, you can spend as long as 1hr on traffic before you can maneuver yourself. Trans Amadi road where the state generates the highest revenue is nothing but in shamble.

Before i will fly DANA, until the cause of the crash is known. i dont actually understand your question and what you mean by "an advanced computer scientist" but if I may guess what you want i would say you can work in almost every aspect of oil industry. you can be a project manager, field engineer, network system support, procurement, quality dept safety etc. You need to have a skill, try and get certified in any area of your talent. You can do SAP training,Sixsigma training, PMP, You can go for your master degree too or you can be lucky and entered as a trainee

The cleaner company has a responsibility to ensure that all their staff are well trained to deliver the highest standards and quality of their service, anything short of this is their responsibility as well. The cleaner company is being paid to deliver an agreed service...and if you are not satisfied with the quality of service being delivered, you are well within you right to severe relationships with them!!!...compensation? what stooopid compensation?

Eziachi: Just woke up to look at your posts. As an elderly man, who is a father, grandfather, husband e.t.c I did reflect on the impact on everyone involved before terminating the contract. We were fortunate that we had it inserted in the contract that disrespect to our customers will result in tearing the contracts without any advance warning. Cleaning business is one of those business very easy to start in England and make loads of money without doing much to your customers and staff.
One thing I had learned from my father was never to allow sentiment to over crowd your sense of business decision or you are finished. He did sack my mum's brother once and they did not speak to each for weeks, until my mum realised that my dad did value his reputable employees more than her lousy brother who does nothing but boss people about.

I made my mind up when I realised that we are paying this company 25 pounds sterling per hour/per cleaner (including VAT) to supply us six cleaners per week and from my understanding, they will pay their workers just above the minimum wage and all the time what I saw this people does is chat among themselves without doing much.


Now I believe four in-house cleaners will do far better job and get paid better with free healthcare for them and three nominated other members of their families residence in the U.K and plus a 21 days full paid holiday entitlement like their suit wearing co-workers.

Na wa ooo!!!, This is unprofessional at all. How did you engaged the business with the cleaner company? Was there any service level agreement (SLA)or contractual documents ? Contracts are usually base on timeline and terminating it abruptly must be stipulated and reason for doing so. Do you run an organised HR ? or One man business-like. How long has the cleaner company be working with you clinic ? do they have any service quality issue before. Will you pay them compensation ?. power tend to corrupt, and Absolute power corrupt absolutely. Madam may God for give you. If i am the MD of the company will institute case against you. HABA!!!
