When brocksamson was calling 4 publication last october, I was part of those that called for calm and patience. From dat time till now, d informations supplied has been in favour of d mighty and connected. So what hope are you talking about? This delay tactics is not in any way in favour of d unconnected.

The purported list by dijahh would av bin a strong evidence dat is if d said list is on a letter headed paper duly signed by fcc and dpr not d one typed and released by neverdown last year. But he said that it wasnt complete then. We dont know if it is complete now and if he is willing to release it now.

the delay on this recruitment might be caused by many factors: The vested interests of the stakeholders, the presentation, passage and signing of the 2019 budget, the expected changes in the mgt of DPR, National Assembly, MPR and of course the unending pressure for inclusion from all and sundry, amongst other reasons. Many people were able to confirmed their names on the second list even before it was leaked by Neverdown on tweeter. So many Dramas took place but one thing is clear, that there is truly a second list. The beneficiaries and the date to be called remained unknown except to the privileged few.
Bros, there is no excuse tenable once this june deadline pass. The earlier we unite and take a joint action, the better. One person claimed dat he has d second batch list. I wonder of what use d list will be when d remaining positions are filled up d backdoor way and all d portals are closed or d passage of time makes it clear to everybody dat it is a mirage

I dont think he got an extension though am not sure. But if he did get an extension, d news should have carried it. Checked online nothing of such and his tenure officially ends today. I believe this is also a strong factor in d proceedings of activities of d dept

From the look of things, whether he gets his tenure extended or relieved of his duties, either way d common man doesnt stand to benefit anything. How are u guys sure he is not already trading d purported list so as to retain his seat. If another takes over, he too will surely bring in his people. We seriously goofed with d idea of publication as suggested by brocksamson. This people never had d common man in mind right from d onset. And to even think that some people were portraying them as men of integrity and holier-than-thou makes it more annoying. For posterity sake, we need to still put it out bare what was perpetrated in this sham of a recruitment so that future generations will not suffer from our inaction as regards this recruitment.

Why bother yourself with this your constant saying that there is no second batch. People have already made up their mind on what to believe. Have u ever paused for a moment to think about d profile and why applicants still have access to it? They would have closed it by now if they are really done with it.
The advice to people should be to keep seeking better opportunities elsewhere. When dpr is ready, they will contact d successful candidates and all d portals will be closed.

Whatever must be done on dis second batch, I believe must be done b4 June 19th d expected date of retirement of dpr boss (considering his appointment date in 2015).... If it extends beyond that date, then d chances become slimmer and slimmer.

Lol! Very funny people. The guys that keep saying move on are d ones visiting the thread the most. What an irony! You always advise people to move on while you yourself keep coming back to check for updates... Nobody needs to tell anybody what to do. If you feel like moving on just move on quietly. My advice is if you have a job at d moment, focus on your job and if u don't, don't relent on applying to other places and networking generally until dpr officially ends the recruitment. Shikena!

That must have been a slip of tongue or d media made d mistake. He wanted to say Nov 2016. Aptitude test in July 2017, approximately 6 months from advert and then interview Dec 2017, approximately 1 year from advert. Dis add up to what he said. But y claim over 500 recruited already when you ve not called up everybody and closed d portal and by extension end d recruitment. There are a lot 'abracadabra' in dis recruitment process

If Dpr will will contact the merit candidates by calling ‘em, this is going to be the first time of them doing so. Dpr use to go door to door and give their merit candidates APL. I knw a merit candidate in my neighborhood who secured this job last time they did it. It was shocker for him as he had already loses hope because all SH candidates were there a year ahead.

This is conflicting with d present situation of things. I believe there were merits in d first batch called. How negligible d no is is what I dont know with d way it was done. And with recent updates, d no of merit hopefuls keep dwindling

I don't think so. That's too much of a coincidence. We both experienced the same thing last year before the first batch were called. About 2 weeks ago when he noticed the grid lines on d background of his profile, I did too. Only that this time around my own documents didn't reduce. I don't know what this means but hope its positive sign.

But do you know FIRS recruitment exercise was advertized at d same time in 2016 when DPR was also advertized. Some were called to start work last year while some others were called 2 weeks ago. My sister in law was one of them. So am very sure of this. Though firs recruitment process lack credìbility compared to dpr which I still believe will not go completely d way firs went. Am disappointed on how it has been done so far cos even myself a critical decision i need to make depend on d outcome and conclusion of dis dpr recruitment
