LOL. You people should better go ahead with your publication. Just like that my brother said, no one will be called. It seems you people are not in Nigeria. This is how it goes; the APLs carry dates a successful applicant is meant to accept/reject the offer and resume, beyond which no claim of the offer can be made. After that date, the slots belonging to those who did not claim their offer will be re-assigned to special people they have waiting. That's why some people are against the publication and telling you all to wait, cos they know as e dey go.
At the end of the day, they will claim all successful candidates were contacted, but we all know that's a lie.

If una like, make una wait. Till some dead-heads will claim positions meant for the merits. And we all keep asking why the vital sectors of the economy are under-performing.

You re likely right going by d info some pple provided dat d APLs of doze dat made d 2nd list carry d date of Sept 30th... It appears d ginger of those championing publication don go down. But dpr no try sha. Dey should have quietly done backdoor recruitment instead of making themselves appear to look like dey followed due process and putting applicant thru dis mental torture...

From d look of things, some people know their status as per d 2nd batch, that their names are on d list. Reason for them kicking against d publication without even knowing d content yet. My question is how do u know that if u don't have help? Many of dis guys will still claim dey re fighting for d common man... The way I see it everybody is fighting for their individual interest. How long are we going to continue like this in Nigeria?

Because am surprised that nobody knows when even HR in field offices. This letter is like the second coming of Christ where even the angels don't know when. Same stakeholders gang up to unseat Mr. Andrew Obaje as DPR director partly because of same recruitment in 2011 because he didn't play by their rules.

That was how Obaje slot and other candidates on merit list were removed by the newly appointed director. Some of you here are privileged to work with stakeholders so you know how they guide their interest. Don't cultivate your own failure. Be patient.

At this time, you dont need to convince anybody. People have made up their mind on which side of d divide to belong, pro publication group and d wait group. Just as in d days of d APC and APO, what u need to make d choice on which group to belong is just logic. If indeed d recruitment is over, will d portal still be open? D answer to dat question is all u need concerning dis recruitment.

D message here is not very clear. If u say 'report' dat sounds like dey av accepted d APL btw d 3 months grace period (July 1st - 30th September) but yet to report at dia duty post. For this category, marvel made it clear dat dpr will replace them and it will form part of d new batch. But if what u mean by report is dat dey re yet to pick up their APLs, dey will still be replaced. There is nothing like time extension except if dey re candidate of very powerful person.

No matter how transparent the recruitment process is some fellows will still come here and shout "ojoro, ojoro, cheating." I have warned them. There are ways to deal with their action if ever executed. I will not be tagged with their selfish and irrational campaign.

What they are not looking at is d outcome of their publication... Most of d stakeholders' candidates av already been employed. This publication will not make dpr to withdraw their APLs. The only candidates that re endangered are those yet to get in. No doubt we re all aggrieved with d latter part of d recruitment but we should also be cautious of our step. If they eventually publish it, the following are d likely outcome
1. The recruitment will most likely be put on hold.
2. The recruitment will be cancelled
The remaining candidates will be employed through d backdoor just d likes FIRS, NIMASA, CBN etc nothing will happen... All these other recruitments took place under this administration and nothing happened so thinking dat releasing a publication at dis political tensed time will change d narratives, it will only do more harms than good. After d second batch is released and we noticed it went the way d first one went, then you can publicize what went done. There is no justification for it at d moment looking at d fact that d portals are still open. And just for the records, my name was not on d leaked list and not that i believe entirely in its genuineity. Best of luck to them in whatever decision they take

Plz and pls, let us be a little more patient may be till month end. Marvel had said several times that October is the month and today is 20th of the month. We still 10 days. If we had waited for 2 years, waiting for additional 10 days should not be difficult.

Remember, we have different categories of people on this site. Some people can advice anything because they have nothing to loss. Some did not do interview and portal closed since.

Our portals are still on and most us are on supposed merit list. We can wait a little more before we re-act.

It is possible that nothing happened last week ended yesterday because of petroleum industry seminar that occurred during the week. If that is the case this week, something can happen.

I am very sure that something will happen before month end because our spirit high like never before. I believe this page is being followed or monitored by DPR too. So plz and pls, let reserve our energy till month end.

I will support this idea. From d look of things the release of second list is imminent. Marvel said "All d best to us on monday morning" and since then he hasnt said a thing. Also from d info some other hopefuls got that d first batch guys are yet to undergo training and start anything serious which i think dpr delayed it for d release of d second list. In d meantime u guys can just put up ur writing in good shape and other necessaries for d said publication
If by 31st October, d second list is not released, then we can go ahead with publication.

I don't understand the point. You re covering your other details while the ref no is visible. From your ref no, d other details can be known. Also, those that dont have their ref no on that leaked list but have access to their portal, can screenshot and send theirs too

Thank you for your regular update Marvel65. I thought u said it was ready. Why d delay to 30th Sept? This next batch some are of d opinion dat it will still go through fcc. Is dat true? How many is expected to make dis batch and will they be given time to resume like d 3 months period dey gave d 1st batch?

1. @etinosa in his last post confirmed from his contact with HR at HQ that the total names called in this first batch with postings was around 330.

2. Marvel in one of his post confirmed that a lot of merit candidates are yet to be called but don't know why the delay.

3. @elbangeez has also confirmed that underground activities going on at FCC.

Now analyse this,

1. If 700 must be maintained, who do you think would be replaced to accommodate the additional SH names at FCC?

2. Why would they want to confirm that the leaked list is authentic FCC approved list when the have intention to still manipulate the list?

What I know is that anybody that saw His/Her ref no on the leaked list was successful and deserves to get the job. But as it is unfolding if it turns out not to be, then the name was replaced and let God be the final arbiter in this situation.

The best thing at this point is wait and hope to be among d next successful. I could remember that Marvel said he knew of 2 successful with high scores, yet to be called and were not on d leaked list. So nobody can say d list is entirely genuine because
1. D ref nos were not on any form of letter headed paper or document to support its source.
2. Even if the source is fcc, we still cannot rule out some manipulation at fcc since we heard similar thing happened in d last recruitment

Hi Marvel, thanks for your info. I have been an ardent follower of this thread and I want to appreciate all the contributors and informants.
I was at the dpr HQ today to get first hand info on the recruitment and also check for my name, since I am yet to hear from them (I confirmed my name to be on the FCC approved list and the leaked list). My name was not on the list and according the HR personnel incharge, it was the final list and their posting confirmed. The HR personnel said that if by chance one missed their call, such a person would get the posting email, so we can conveniently say that postings have been concluded. He also said that the recruitment process has ended for both GT and EH. All the info I got contradicts the info shared here.
Please I am not doubting any of the informants here, but I just have some ques:
1. Is it possible for the DPR HR staff not to be aware of current happenings or I was being deceived?
2. The list contained around 330 names with their postings. Could it be that there is another list?
3. Could the list approved by FCC be changed?

Something is definitely wrong somewhere and I will do all within my power to get to the bottom of this mystery because it is pathetic.

What if d actual merit list got to fcc but was tampered with there. Reason 4 disparity observed between d actual list at dpr and dat at FCC. Just thinking out loud..

Since we have similar problem, i will like to give you a hint about something that is going on underground at FCC. Will send you a Pm kindly respond, and if by any chance you didnt get a pm from me please kindly send me a pm, All what marvel65 shared is correct, but there things that only DPR top management and FCC knows about. I have it from good authority that the recruitment is not over, DPR played a very tricky game and it came out in their favour. If you confirm your name on FCC list you will definately be called, its just a matter of time. I will like to share what a top official at FCC told me but it will be a breach of trust to share such a confidential information on nairaland.

@Kalealaro, Yes I am from kwara. No update except what elbangeez just said about a friend dat got his APL delivered - most likely stakeholder. No my Ref no wasn't on it but since it's not completely genuine I 've not given up yet...
