Marvel68: The merit list leaked by @neverdown was fake. The names on that list were just a fraction of those that made high test scores. However, some names on the leaked list were also on the authentic merit list. Some merit candidates from states with little or no pressure from major stakeholders were called in the third and fourth week of July, 2018. A few of them testified and tried to convince you all that they knew nobody but you guys doubted them and so they decided to abandon the thread. The distribution of letters wont done accordingly but resumption is February. Some applicants through their sponsors have received APLs in Nov/Dec, 2018. I know some of you are aware of what I’m saying but have chosen to be silent. Let no one claim that he/she made the merit list. Disregard the leaked list and be sure to confirm your name on the authentic merit list before you take any action. I don’t know the fate of the rest of the merit candidates that are yet to be called. I can’t confirm if they were included on the second list but some persons have already received APLs. Na wa o!This dpr recruitment keeps taking a new turn every now and then... The constant thing is that the fate of the merit candidates still hang in the balance. How do one check if he made the list if he doesn't have an insider? It is well |

Marvel68: The second batch will resume next month. You will all know your fate in the last week of January through first week of February, 2019. The rest of the SH applicants from the first batch are expected to report this month. The new recruits will commence training this month and it will be in batches. Most of the senior employees have been promoted into various management roles.
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous New Year! Thanks at Marvel for your regular update. Just want to ask you for some clarifications on recent update on dis platform. Do you know the content of dis much awaited 2nd batch? Were merit candidates favoured more dis time around or SH? Xtruss expressed his worries dat it wasn't based on merit. Yes, the recruitment is over. The next batch will resume next year (Q1) i.e 6months after the resumption of the first batch. If you have an insider, confirm this from him/her. Some Top officials will retire this month. Everything is on hold including the promotion of existing staff for management levels. Some Sh staff have not reported. They won’t be replaced and expected to resume next year. Those that received APLs were substitutes for the others that failed to report. I wanted to share some evidence or top secret info to convince you all but if I’d some persons would be in trouble. So be patient and keep yourself busy with other activities. I had to return to share these for the sake of a few persons. It’s my last for the year. Cheers!

SOME stakeholders interest has been transfered to & promised 2nd batch by the 2 key players irrespective of scores. It will be unprofessional of me to quote conversations.
The truth is, DPR job can be best describe with Charls Darwin theory of Natural Selection & Habert Spencer theory of survival of the fittest, i e, only those with higher connection with PRESIDENCY/God/few people cinnected Tata/director/ shall survive in this final battle.
I repeat, whom so ever that win in the battle will now be seen, paraded & consider as merit candidate.
That's the truth so stop ranting & exploit every opportunity you've now that you still have the chance
N/B, this wasn't their wish but they need save their job so director is now likable by MEN in PRESIDENCY.
Some HIGHLY merited candidates were taking at the first batch tho. Like you said 'seen, paraded and considered as merit'. Crystal clear like dat. Nothing like ranting just like stating things the way they are. |

I'll advice you to summon courage and move. Gyz like you here are moving.
How do you move?
Find your way to the conference and collect phone numbers. Let's start from there. For those that want to make d move, all the best to you. But it is not right in any way for an organization like dpr to do things like that. Even if I am in Lagos I won't stoop dat low all cos i want a job in dpr, go to a conference uninvited, approach d so called 'Men of Integrity' and say what exactly, 'dat please sir I applied to ur organization, I passed d test and am sure i did well in d interview but i dont have anybody to help me, pls help me sir'. How did we get to this level in dis country? See ehn, we all know all of us cannot get this job but all we ask for is just fairness in d recruitment process so dat a good no of applicants dat merited it can get in and i dont think dats too much to ask. Though i still hope your recent update is not completely true especially d third point you made. But if true, those advocating for publication can go ahead with it for posterity sake. We know most federal agencies do recruitment d backdoor way, but for dpr to want to appear dey followed due process when actually most of it was done d backdoor way... They should have done it d usually way most fed agencies do theirs and save most applicants d stress (physical, emotional etc) and time wastage |

VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT:
1. The recruitment is a continue process which is a bit diff from their previous staffing process.
2. DPR needs to round up incorporating the newly employed staff into fed payroll (IPPS) before thinking about us.
3. The new list is ready and above 200 names but success is not base on merit. Take my word to the bank.
4. Those with strong back up made this first batch. Your ñames wasn't in 1st batch because, your source came late & not strong enough.
5. Permutation are ongoing for the 2nd batch. No date was given but speculation have it b4 1st quarter.
6. They where all around in town last week. Instructions have been given to tell all new request/rec letters that the recruitment process is over while response to those they promised 2nd batch are been told to be patience.
7. Director is a nice man of his word. Get his attention and make heaven.
8. You will eventually be called by DPR, no doubt abt it.
9. Praying hard & without season doesn't mean you are spreading your luck where your hands can't reach. No.
NO TENSION GYZ.. I'm very much sure some of us here are fully awere of this information and more but refuse to share because of some pessimistic hopefull. Thanks for d update but i am not clear on some of d points up here 1. 'Success is not based on merit' in d second batch. So what was it based on? My concern hope it doesnt go d way of 1st batch with most going to sh. 2. If you say b4 first quarter, dats b4 jan meaning dia is possibility of contacting people dis yr as against what some pple have said recently here that its till next yr - jan or feb. 3. Your points 6, 7, 8 and 9 are more worrisome which i think is still more in favour of sh. Whats d hope of d common man? |

nigerianonym: A number of us conferred together and felt making a publication was a good idea. The decision didn't go down well with some other people. That's not a problem, seeing as this is a large forum with diverse people with different schools of thought.
I personally believe in diplomacy and respecting people's opinions, regardless of whether they align with mine or not. What pained me most was that a lot of people here resorted to name calling, and even questioned the motive behind making a publication, calling us selfish and self centred. I for one have moved on from this DPR recruitment debacle, but I supported the publication for posterity sake. Whether it yields a positive outcome or not, let the state of Nigeria be known to our children's children, peradventure, they might correct the ills and injustice in this country.
A number of people were instigated by people who were not even interviewed, to rain insults on others here, because of differing opinions. But it's okay. Make we dey look. I hope to God DPR disappoints me by doing the right thing, so I'm not given any reason to say "I told you so".
Me sha, I've learned my lesson. I'm going to teach my children to be self sufficient, so they don't have to just study hard, write aptitude tests, perform well and watch stakeholders oppress them. Because the same people who got in via the leg of men would surely do same when their kids want into the system. Believe that!
Again, I hope DPR disappoints me by doing the right thing. As for me, I'm reverting to the plan I dumped over a year ago before DPR flattered to deceive.
Godspeed, everyone. Spot on bro... spot on |
