I hope ladies will learn from this, especially the greedy ones that are easily attracted by flashy things. Those ladies fell victims to the scam because they were greedy and desperate to marry a wealthy man. This is a lessons for every lady that belongs to that category. It is said that "godliness with contentment is great reward." |
We need to ask all those monarchs claiming superiority what they have contributed to their societies with all their claims. I think they need to learn from the sense of humility and responsibility exhibited by the Ooni of Ife. All these ranting about superiority and hierarchy is unnecessary instead they should concentrate on the development of their communities and take a cue from the exemplary leadership displayed by the Ooni of Ife. |
Long live the King Oba Ooni of Ife, A man of Great intellect. He has been so passionate about the plight of Nigeria and his community. Despite that he is young in age; he has presented himself as a role model that other monarchs in the country should emulate. May you live long on the throne. Nigerian youths are proud of you. |
dustmalik:That is why we must all raise our voices in support of these Bills cos most of the National Assembly members are corrupt. Therefore, we must raise our voices as Nigerians so that the interest of Nigerians will be considered and not the selfish interests of our Senators. |
It's time for all Nigerians to raise their voices and call on the National Assembly to pass these Bills cos they may want to slow down proceedings on it since it does not favor their individual and selfish interests. The masses of Nigeria are saying that the National Assembly should expedite action on passing these Bills. It's time for the National Assembly to defend its integrity by urgently passing these Bills into Law. These are the kinds of Bills that the Nigerian people who voted them into office want them to act on instead of them going after frivolities like "The Social Media Bill". Nigerians, let's raise our voices on this issue so that the Will of the people will prevail. #LetUsSupportMoneyLaunderingBill. |
Indeed, what we experience in the world today is an indication that the coming of Jesus Christ is imminent. If you are not born again, you have to do so. We need to examine our lives every moment to ensure that we comply with the standards and precepts of God at all times. May God help us and may us partakers of his glorious home. |
Good job. Keep it up. |
What an unfortunate incident. Justice must be done on this case. |
Orikinla:There is a lot of sense in this writeup. Ladies take note. |
What a sad and unfortunate incident. May God protect us from the evil ones. I can't imagine how a human being could be so wicked to his fellow human being. |
Dear friend, the first thing I want you to understand is that your parents love you and so they do not want you to go astray. Though they may be rather too harsh on you but notwithstanding they mean well. My advice to you is to be patient with them and try to express your feelings to them once in a while in a matured and respectful manner. At least by age you are an adult and you should develop the confidence to discuss issues affecting you with them. Furthermore, assess yourself and consider the issues on which they disagree with you in order to make amends in necessary areas. You also need to understand that soon, now or later you will become independent and live on your own. I want emphasize that you should not rebel against your parents instead be patient with them and try to have discussions with them on your feelings. The truth is that your parents love you and mean well for you. All they are doing is to guide you and prevent you from going astray. Moreover, you have be of good conduct at all times and mind the kind of company you keep. May God help you. |
Congratulations to an icon in the broadcasting industry. Wishing him a happy retirement life. |
This is so unfortunate. I call on the Nigerian govt to investigate this allegation and find out those who were actually responsible for this callous attack. |
The separation between Pastor Oyakhilome and his wife is unfortunate. Though I do not judge them but it is an embarrassment to the Church of God. Can anyone tell me how many children they have? |
Hornestly speaking, I think this issue of Boko Haram attacks should not be trivialized or politicized. It has really gone beyond that because innocent lives are being lost day by day, which is an issue of serious concern. Irrespective of our ethnic backgrounds or tribes as Nigerians, Boko Haram constitutes a threat to our national identity. Instead of raining abuses on our leaders, I admonish everyone to make suggestions on how we can overcome this group of monsters, who call themselves Boko Haram. It's time for all hands to be on deck to defeat these insurgents. I believe the COAS and members of the Armed Forces are working hard to bring this war to an end. I expect that we rise up to support them in our prayers, motivation, encouragement and willingness to provide relevent information that could help them in prosecuting this war. Remember, this is an asymmetric warfare, where the identity of the enemy is not clearly defined. By the grace of God, Boko Haram will be defeated and Nigeria will experience peace. I am expecting people who can have faith by supporting and believing with me that Nigeria will win this war. God bless the Nigerian Armed Forces!!! God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!! |
This is one of the consequences of the high number of out-of-school children in the North. These type of children can be easily lured into terrorism. I also think that Nigeria should begin to embrace and encourage citizens to adopt family planning techniques. It is unfortunate that most of these children lack proper parental care due to the inability of their parents to cater for them. |
Nice one. More power to ur elbow. |
I think it is time we begin to mete out serious sanctions on those who abuse children. This act of wickedness is becoming rampant in our society. |
