For your child's income and expenditure details, put in same details you filled in your own visa application. I assumed you are the parent/sponsor.

It's still a good gamble as you only pay the price difference of the new date if you eventually change your flight. The funny thing is that it might end up being more expensive...but then you could be lucky.

30 minutes to your appointment time is ok. You would be allowed entry. The biometrics process period depends on the number of people you meet before you. It also depends on where you doing your biometrics.VI center is pretty much faster than Ikeja. Either way, you should be done in one or two hours max.

I would advise you cancel the application and reapply. Though it means you have to forfeit the visa fees. The 2017 DOB erroneously stated means the visa application will be processed as a "Minor" visa application. I'm surprised you didn't notice the follow up questions specifically for minors when filling the application. For example, asking which of your parents or guardian will be accompanying you. That would have made you know that something was amiss in your application.

You got residence rights. You only need to quarantine for 10 days in a managed hotel.

I'm not even sure one is allowed to travel if your country is on the red list except you are a British citizen or you got a residence permit. I mean for tourist/visiting visa.

Nigeria has now been added to UK's red list. There goes people's Christmas holidays. If you have to travel, you will need to quarantine in a hotel for 10 days.

Do NOT put 5k pounds for your spouse. State only the amount she might be willing to spend on her own, even if it's a small amount. Afterwards, there is another section that asked ''if any other person is paying for your trip'', include your name and then state the amount you are willing to pay towards her trip which should be less than the 5k pounds. Also, include a cover letter or letter of sponsorship in your application stating what part of the cost you are covering for her.

She might not need to do a cover letter. Any other salient information about her could be provided in the Additional information section of the visa application (if necessary).
Just ensure your sponsorship letter is clear with no ambiguity.

Since you and your husband are sponsoring her, you guys would be the one to write the letter of sponsorship. Specify in the letter if you are sponsoring her whole trip 100% (flight, accommodation, feeding and other miscellaneous) or if part of the trip for the period of her stay between so and so date. Also state the purpose of her trip and where she would be staying. In addition, provide a brief of what you do or where you work and include where the fund will be coming from. Salary, investment, savings etc stating the specific account statements. In the letter, you could state what other documents you have attached as financial proof and also proof of family ties as applicable.

We created an email for her to submit the application. So it's more like she filled it herself.
My question is: how do we go about cover letter for eco. Do we (sponsors) need to do the cover letter or should we do it as though it is my mom addressing it to eco about her visit?

We have pictures to support that she is a farmer although her earnings doesn't reflect on her account statement....is she the one to describe her account statement and describe the pictures to be attached?

How do we come in as sponsors..

Sorry about that. When including your business certificate of registration, Did you include the other form that shows your name and passport photo? Also invoices do not necessarily translate to payments. If they did, then you could point to those payments in the bank statement and link it with the invoices to show they were genuine payments. A cover letter could explain all that. But actually, it's really hard to tell what went wrong as we don't have the full facts or documents submitted.

You are in order. Just ensure the sponsor provides the necessary supporting documents to show its financial capacity.

As in the filled form, my dad is being sponsored by his child with #500,000 and personally spending #100,000 of his own money on the trip.

*should this be (500,000+100,000)=#600,000 or it’s just okay as I’ve filled in the form (#100,000) ?

You would need to pay for a Flexi appointment to do a walk in any day. That's another cost different from Priority.

Yes. Same fees you paid including priority. Hopefully, you are able to get same appointment date and time so you'd be able to submit your applications together. He also has to go with you on the scheduled date.

Yes. You have to fill a separate application for your son. Also when scheduling your appointment, you may want to use one of the services that enables you and your son get same appointment time so you could submit both applications together.

No matter how high the Visa refusal might be, the US embassy still issues Visa to people daily. Just pray and hope you be among the few that would be favored.

You are good. You won't be called for an interview except you provided some conflicting information on your new DS form from the previous one. It is not compulsory you used your visa before it expires so you can go ahead and apply via Dropbox.

Only your passport would be collected if you are successful.

If you are still unable to update the confirmation number under the "update profile" menu,. Use the feedback help menu. Add as attachment, both the old and new DS confirmation page and request for the update.

For this one, you need to create a new profile for one of them and then add other children. But any other time you want to renew your visa, you can then add the children to your profile.

Did you fill out a new DS 160? If you didn't fill another application, you don't need to update any confirmation number. But if you filled a new DS 160, once you log in to your appointment page, look for the "update profile" menu, you should be able to make any amendment.

It happens that i initially schedule an appointment for April 11 but due to some factors i had to reschedule my appointment today to ealier than that, and i got April 1st but the problem now is that i forgot to update my confirmation number while doing that. And i really am lost at this junction.
