You guys will never admit to your greed even as it's coming back to hunt your people.Who is now responsible for infrastructural collapse in Abia,Imo?yet anytime the Feds makes an attempt to bring the culprits to book you claim oppression by Nigeria. The other day filling stations in Imo state shut down in protest to multiple levies and taxes by the state government which explains the high cost.Isn't that down greed?
Oga, most times you guys don't know what is happening in this country and what is going on in the east and the wickedness by FG and security agents in the southeast.

Like someone said on this thread if the high cost of petrol in the east is as the result of greed from Igbo owned fuel stations what about the ones owned by non Igbos and multinationals?
There's Mobil, there's total, there's Ondo why are they not selling at a cheaper price?

I don't know what you mean by infrastructural collapse but what I know is
there's almost zero federal presence in the east to support state governments.
State Governments in the east are repairing federal government roads, federal medical centers are poorly funded...e.t.c

Do you know that there's an agency of Government that decides which state gets what amount of electrical power supply?
Do you know they Allocate more electric power to zamfara than to Enugu,Abịa and Eboyi compibined?

How will businesses thrive when the FG through its various agencies of wickedness choosed to marginalise a section of the country and favour others?

It's either Op is an imposter or he is not sane.
The thread is funny... really made me laugh non stop.
OP, which of the Ngwa is not Igbo? Is it, Isi Ala Ngwa, Asa Ngwa or Obi Ngwa?
Let me know how badly you need help.

But if you really want to know if Ngwa is igbo or not, Go to Ogbor hill tomorrow morning and tell Ngwa people you see there that they are not Igbo.

I would've suggested Ariaria but you would've vanished without trace there.

Bros if you don't know anything don't talk. Even Total, Mobil and other multi nationals actually sell at high prices in the south East. Is it an igbo thing now?
Don't mind them they don't know that NNPC controlled by the federal government allocates fuel to different states however they want.
They will send less fuel to southeast states that needs it and send more to the north that doesn't need it thereby creating scarcity in the southeast hence the price increase and surplus In the North.

You can't take petrol meant for a particular state to another one it's a crime.
The comments on this forum most times just shows how daft Nigerians are.

FamilyThis Is The Reason Why Women Live Longer Than Men by shortgun(op): 1:05am On Nov 18, 2021
I've been doing alot of thinking lately why majority of married men die before their spouses. It should really be a matter that deserves to ponder upon. Mens mortality in marriages should be looked at by everyone with all seriousness.

There have been many submissions, theories and opinions why this happens.
I've come to the conclusion that they are all baseless, can not be substantially proven and lies. There is only one plausible explanation or logical conclusion why men die before their wives which I will reveal later in this post.

Some of the unsatisfactory assumptions are listed below:
1.HardworkThe number one reason people think married men die before their wives is hardwork; they believe men die early due to hardwork and catering for the family's needs, they argue that men die early due to many hours they have to work with no or minimal time to rest.

2.Bad wives
I've heard people say "a man will be digging his grave when he gets married to a bad woman". People contend that bad wives are largely responsible for the premature demise of their husbands.

3.Age Difference Some people think the reason why husbands die before their wives is simply because of the gap in age between them.
Many marriages will most likely have an older man and younger woman, naturally it's expected that an older person will die before a young person.

4.Lack of Care and love Many people especially in the country propose that married men are the least loved member in a family, they are of the opinion that when children starts coming into the union between wives and husbands, the wife shifts all her attention, love and care to the children neglecting the husband.
She will expect the husband to care, love and provide for her and the kids without reciprocating any to the husband.

As the kids grow, they too will shower their mother with affection, praises, care and love without looking in the direction of their father.

She told me as we have a house. We need CCTV with motion censor, and a burglar alarm. I called 3 companies for quotes.

The fairest quotes was 560k. She said let's take it as it's a good bargain. I stalled on this for one week and she kept telling me its a good bargain let's call them and pay. Keep in mind she was saying let's pay. I told the company we'll go for it and they gave us a date to install. I asked her to send a contribution, and she told me blatantly that she did not budget for that. I payed the 560k.

2 weeks later I heard her on a call to her friend about expenses. She was saying how we are spending so much. She told her friend "we just bought a house, and furnished it, so I am so broke now". One kobo she no contribute oh.

Tell me marriage is not a scam

grin grin grin I would not expect everyone to agree with me. There are many jokers everywhere, who as long as they are banging their wife, and she is providing children they think all is well. These ones think with their penis.

I am blessed. God has given me a roof over my head, food on my table, and clothes to wear. Carrying another man's daughter and feeding her, clothing her, and solving her economic problem in the name of marriage is me falling for a scam, and that's on period.
You are not yet blessed brother, look how you came to a public forum to whine about your wife living in your 4bedroom bungalow and bringing her family members.

What will happen when you own a duplex? Will she stop to breath grin grin
Men buy houses for their girlfriends and you are here pained that your wife..I mean your wife is living in your 4bedroom bungalow.

With your post about CCTV anyone will know that you are not fit nor have the mental capacity to be the head of a family.. you got CCTV simply because your wife told you to, you didn't object, you didn't give her any reason not to...you just went ahead and bought it and come to nairaland to wail?

Now tell me do you look like a man who thinks with his brain or his d*ck?

I laugh at most "men" that thinks marriage is a scam, most of you are just empty upstairs...if you think your wife is a liability you can turn her into an asset if you know how.

Truth is that the more things change the more they remain the same.
A Young man who is still struggling to survive have no business keeping someone's daughter with the hope that he will "make it" or "blow" in the future.... it's setting the cart before the horse!

In the olden days, a man will only be eligible to have a girl or wife by his side when certain conditions have been met and he's proven to have become a Man...like a house of his own, a farmland and plenty tubers of yams in his barn cheesy
It's still the same thing today. You must be on your feet first before desiring a girl or wife beside you.
When you do the opposite, you invite problems and sorrow.

There's no point desiring to have a girl or wife when you are not yet matured... maturity here also includes the ability to provide for your woman's needs and not only having a very strong D*ck that can shift womb that is in a empty hungry stomach.

I was poor sir, but I made myself a promise to break every form of poverty around me.

I was dedicated, focused, honest with people that gave me their trust and I worked till my back broke.
What many dishonest people don't know is that when someone gives you a little trust and you didn't abuse it, same person will give you a bigger opportunity or recommend you for a higher position.... that's the way to grow when you don't have anyone to stand in for you anywhere.

It might interest you to know that a lot of people fall into the category of humans you are trying to explain thus the reason you will see a lot of them countering your opinion.

What you said is the reason transport business is highly discouraged if you are not engaging in the business yourself. It's not because transport business is not lucrative, it is only because humans especially category of people that find themselves in the transportation business are generally dishonest, irresponsible and hard hearted.

I will give you an example of my own blood brother. My elder brother at that.

He used to sell his wares in a remote place inside Ikorodu street. He can go for days without selling anything and he was spending money on transportation to his shop. He's married with three kids. We got tired of giving him stipends every now and then for his family's upkeep, then I decided to think for him.

I saved up some money and got him a standard tokunbo Toyota Sienna. I bought and shipped this car myself to avoid excuses of working with a bad car.

We agreed he was going to pay me the exact amount I used in purchasing the car after which he would become the owner. I registered the car in his name as well.

Fast forward to when he took the car. First month, I got paid, second month, I got paid much lower than first month and longer than just a month. Instead of 30 days that makes up a month, I got paid in 39 days for example from the previous payment date.

Third month, story entered. A tokunbo car I no started giving problems already. It got to a point that I went three months without receiving anything.

Then, something happened and we got to find out that my brother is now so rich that he has gotten himself a widow as a concubine whom he spends bulk of his money on even neglecting his immediate family that prompted me to buy the car.

After that discovery, efforts were made to separate him from the widow. As I am typing this, my brother has been consistent in paying me my money for the past 4 months. It's obvious then that the widow was the car that's spoiling.

Like you said, these guys deliberately don't want to come out of poverty by their choices, untrustworthiness, and lifestyle.

They want to live a life that you are living but never to be dedicated and committed to work like you do.

The guy probably sold your bike, used the money to buy a cheaper one while having a leftover. You should have taken some measures to track the bike or secure your investment.

In my case, I tracked the car and withheld the original documents of the car. I don't completely trust people, even myself. So, I needed to have some form of control over the car so someone will not wake up one day and sell the car and be telling me stories.
Phew, I've copied this post and saved it, so many things to learn from you.

You can't and shouldn't generalize.

Even some rich people do that too so it isn't about just their financial status but personal character. Some people are just too greedy no matter their financial status be it poor or rich, they are wired to cheat and renegade on deals anytime any day.
This is not about generalisation, what am saying is that bulk number of people who are poor have made a choice to remain so due to dishonesty, laziness e.t.c..this is from my personal experiences and interactions with them.

As for doing business with the rich, it's easier to get back money invested in business with a rich person than a poor person, they will have assets that can be taken from them to recover your money,...this is the same thing banks do by way of collateral. What will you take from a poor person to get back your money if they decide to play a fast one on you?

Respect who get but fear who never collect!! What happened might actually not be his fault..I once met a bike man who a passenger he carried connived with another guy to lure him to a deserted area in form of going to his destination and the passengers partner in crime was waiting for him in the deserted area. Where they planned to ambush the bike rider and the beat up the rider and snatched his bike. Now this could happen even on the first day of handing the bike to him and could also have happened even after he completes the purchase agreement. In the business world you cant really predict some happenings. Like the man who collected loan to build that collapsed building am sure he was already counting his profits before realising them but a collapsed building was about to happen now the banks and investors who believed in him would be regretting now. The ones who made part payment will also be regretting now imagine there is no insurance the money is gone. To the bike rider may be life happened to him or his is indebted to someone and they seized the bike, may be he was actually robbed, maybe he sold the bike to settle an urgent bill you cant tell.
You have valid points brother, I also tot in the same line but the police officers that detained him told me that most bike riders who get bikes on hire purchase will always come up which such stories so that they will not pay the profit you are supposed to make from the hire purchase, they will end up paying only the capital once they tell you the bike is stolen. I still see the guy riding another bike around my estate....this is a guy who told me before I got him the bike that he couldn't get a bike anywhere.
