Affluence052: Hello everyone
Please i want to clarify something... I have submitted an application for a study permit, Postgraduate degree and my 11 months old child is accompanying me, my husband is my primary sponsor and my brother (A Canadian Citizen) is my co-sponsor. My husband submitted his "Mybankstament" with a closing balance of 10,047,00 and my brother (A Canadian Citizen) also attached his documents including his Salary account.
The questions are;
* What are the requirements for NSE? * Is the closing balance sufficient for a postgraduate program? Although i have paid 8,600 CAD as part of the tuition. * My brother submitted the application in Canada, is it a red flag? And finally *How long does it take to receive NSE request letter?
Thanks everyone as i await your swift response. * MyBankStatement certificate and IELTS * It should be sufficient considering you also submitted your brother's account * Very insignificant * The whole NSE scheme is shambolic. However, since you already provided MyBankStatement certificate, they might just request for IELTS if you didn't provide it. There's no timeframe for the request. |

You love your privacy. Just like me. It's not even about privacy for me. Corresponding via email implies I'm making a commitment to the application process which can be stressful. People will make an enquiry and then request you help review SOP, letter of sponsorship, help with webform e.t.c It's a lot of work and people will keep on coming. |

Regards. June 2? Go and join queue. There's absolutely nothing you can do. They're still people from February awaiting decision. You might be fortunate it get finalized before resumption, and if not, you defer. |

Kenthro: I have transferred between two universities in two different countries due to some reasons. I want to transfer to Canada but I feel like it is going to be a red flag to the Visa officer. Will the Visa officer know that I have schooled elsewhere, if I don't add those schools in my visa application. I'm going for bachelors degree. You want to go for bachelor degree. How old are you? And what are the two countries?. If they are not close ally to Canada, they might be insignificant but how do you explain what you've doing in the last couple of years. The Canadian authorities will be interested in your history. NB: Please don't respond via email. If you're concerned about confidentiality or want a personal guide. Use the service of justmellow or Frankrobbn1. You can reach out to them. |

Every time we keep answering the same question. Flywire has a FORM A option. Select international bank transfer and print the invoice which is going to be required at the bank. |

mamatee2: Hello great people, So, I received my GCMS notes last night. Eligibility shows "Recommend Interview". My Eligibility review already started though. However, I see a lot of "FILE AND/OR APP TRANSFER" on my notes. Is this usually the case? Will this cause any form of delay? I'm thinking to send a webform/email to all these offices to ask for updates. Perhaps, it will nudge them to take a look at my file.
Please Gurus in the house, your responses will be greatly appreciated.
#May3 Applicant File transfer is normal. The info sharing is till ongoing. Is there any remark? |

Better still, reach out to them before you get passport request. You're not the first in similar situation. shupy: This is not an issue. If you get a passport request, reach out to VFS about the situation. Your biometric is still valid. |

Petrrr: I don’t have the refusal letter yet but will let you know when I get it.. Refusal notification comes with a letter. I'm not referring to the GCMS note. Tell your agent to provide the letter. It's downloaded from your application portal. |

Jioke1994: Good day, everyone!
I'm a newbie on this thread, have applied for visa, and I'm happy to see some helpful posts and ppr alerts. Thumbs up!! My question is: My mum's sponsorship letter states that she has a landed property. But, the thing is...me and my agent forgot to include the scanned copy of the landed property when he submitted my application. Pls, should I tell him to submit it now? ( app submitted on the 19th, April, 2021). Secondly, after reading stories and documents (like gift deed, landed properties, etc.) submitted by some people on this thread, I'm now afraid coz I didn't use a gift deed or landed property of any kind to back my application. All I did was to submit my uncle's ( main sponsor) first bank's printed acct statement of over 100k CAD, my mum's( co sponsor) acct statement of not more than 3 million, their letter of sponsorship, affidavit of support from my uncle, SOP (which states my purpose of visit and my home ties), but my home ties is based on the bond I have with my mum, how I'll come back to take care of her especially as she's now in her early sixties. So, considering what I've read on this thread, I'm afraid if my home ties could pose a problem considering the fact that I didn't base it on socio-economic aspect like some of you did. Pls, I need someone to talk to me. I really appreciate! Well, you already applied. All you can do now is hope for best. You can go ahead and submit the landed property documents via webform. I personally don't consider them a game changer especially if it doesn't belong to the applicant, but it certainly won't have a negative effect on one's application so one might as well include if it's available. The best home tie remains long-term prospect in home country. It has to be addressed in the SOP. Order for your GCMS note to see remarks of the officer. |

Petrrr: well I applied since February and no notification from my agent to do my medicals, he can’t even tell what’s going on with my application, he says I should wait for An email from ircc most likely i feel I may have been denied for not doing my medicals or any other thing they’ve asked for.. I’ll order the gcms not and check what the problem was and besides I didn’t have access to my page. well hopefully the note doesn’t take long so I can reapply What was the reason stated in the refusal letter? Have you actually gotten the refusal letter? |

Shenaniganzzz: I rejoice with everyone who has gotten their PPR... and to those of us waiting, we are going to smile next week! Amen I applied for my GCMS (IRCC and CBSA) on the 25th of June and I just got mu CBSA notes now... the information is just so bulky but I just took a screenshot of the part I see others send here.
I specifically ordered it to know what the VO is saying about my application but unfortunately I can't find any comment. Can anyone help with the exact part where I can find their comments? Your eligibility hasn't been reviewed in its entirety. Probably ongoing. The absence of a preassessment remark probably implies no concern has been raised at any level of the review process. |

Dot1: Hello guys. I am new here and will appreciate your help in answering some questions. I am mostly familiar with the US immigration stuff so please pardon my ignorance here.
1.) I want to know if IELTS is required to attend schools in Canada. Does IRCC require that every student have IELTS even if the schools you are applying to does not require it?
2.) I currently live in the US. Would there be any issue if I am sponsoring my brother who lives in Nigeria to Canada? Would be be issues relating to home-ties?
3.) I know US mostly welcome students going for STEM programs. Is that the same in Canada or does Canada not care if you are going for a non-STEM program? 1. Canadian schools exempts Nigerian applicants from IELTS requirements. However, IRCC requires IELTS for an expidited processing route called NSE but we've come to realise there's no significant difference in processing time for most people that provided the NSE requirements i.e MyBankStatement certificate and IELTS. I wouldn't encourage anyone to go write the exam simply because of visa processing but if it's available, one should submit it. 2. You being in USA shouldn't be an issue. 3. Canada welcomes students coming for all sorts of programs. |

mudiwest: Dear gurus in the house, what are your thoughts and what's the impact of this recommend interview under eligibility? It implies a senior officer will have a look at your application and make final decision. "Recommend interview" is better than "Review required" so I will say your application is still looking promising. |

Anon123: Yes.. Eligibility passed "Recommend passed" is not the same as "passed". It's certainly promising but the eligibility hasn't been finalized. |
